Amazing coffee and work space, love the lighting

Amazing food, great service. We came here with work for a Christmas lunch and Rose was great looking after us. I would recommend the pub.

Part of a large party for a pre-Christmas meal. Excellent food, well presented and well organised especially as we were a fairly large group. Would definitely recommend for informal group events.

I get a chai latte from attendant coffee roasters every day and am constantly impressed with the high levels of service that I receive. Konstancja, in particular, is especially attentive to my needs and can anticipate my daily order. She always greets me with a warm smile and ensures my drink is made perfectly every time. Her attention to detail and genuine care for customers make my daily visits an absolute pleasure.

The food may be good, but the service is terrible. The owner has a bad face all the time, and he also treats the delivery people who collect the orders badly. They are rude and impolite. It's no use having good food if the service is terrible.

Coin de Paris has been our go to café in Kingston for the last 17 years. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the food is great, a good selection of cakes always on offer and the baguettes and salads are always well made and delicious.

Great wee pub all the regulars are fantastic people love working there

Our group of 18 hungry walkers arrived at lunchtime and received a warm welcome from all the staff. We had not booked but tables and chairs were quickly rearranged and everyone was seated. Hot drinks and food appeared without delay and the combination of great service and good food could not have been better. Thank you Cafe Nouvelle for accommodating such a large group.

Love coming to this cafe, especially with the kids. Great food and a friendly atmosphere. Neat little shop in the front too.

Very disappointing , they are supposed to have the restaurant open for breakfast and lunch and I went to order some hot food at 11:30. While I was choosing from the menu available at the cashier a guy came, took the menu away and said the breakfast menu was no longer available as they were swapping for lunch manu. However, I wasn’t able to order from the lunch menu either as that would not be available unti 12:00. They kept insisting they have pastries and tostie, which I didn’t want (I have food allergies anyway not compatible with the small selection from the bar). When I asked to confirm if there was no food available for 30 min (11:30-12:00) the guy looked at me saying “there are tosties there, do you see them ?”. This was rude and on a separate note, this is the first place I know having a restaurant but not allowing orders from the kitchen (of any kind) between breakfast and lunch .

I went here as I’m staying in the area temporarily I red the reviews so decided to try it. What is it with these fake reviews? Ordered popadom which were stale, the mango chutney came out in very small dishes minus the onion salad, had to ask for that. Few bites later and it’s gone so you have to keep asking for more. Let it slip that the popadoms were stale so still ordered main, chicken tikka buriana, which should come with vegetable curry nope came with cucumber salad? Took two mouthfuls and it was clear it was microwaved (I actually heard the ding before it came out) tasted absolutely rubbish. I would eat here again if it was free

Over charged on bill and asked for a refund. Manager agreed to give me what was due but never refunded the money and is now ignoring my emails. Total non transparency with transaction and not run in a professional way.
