Apricity This was a fantastic return visit to Apricity where the food and service was once again amazing. Using the finest British ingredients to put together a menu of unique flavours makes this restaurant somewhere I could return to many more times in the future. Situated on Duke Street just a couple of minutes from Bond Street Station is where you’ll find Apricity. On entering there will be a friendly welcome waiting for you before being shown to your table. The food style as I said use’s amazing british produce and prides itself on being a low waste restaurant. This is what has earned them a Michelin Green Star. The wine list is full of incredible natural wines that you will find hard to beat. On our previous visits we have opted for the tasting menu which at £90 for 7 courses in Mayfair is excellent value for money. On this occasion we decided to go for the A la Carte that on average is £70 for 3 courses and also good value. Starters - Hand Dived Firth of Clyde Scallops and the Venison Croquette Mains - Cornish Brill with broccoli and apple plus the Kori Cured Cornish Sardines we accompanied these dishes with Pink Fir Potatoes and Purple Sprouting Broccoli Cheese Course - We decided to add an extra course and enjoyed the Fen Farm Baron Bigod. Desserts - Poached forced Kentish Rhubarb and the Caramelised Edel Weiss white chocolate baked mousse Wine - Sommelier Zoe recommended to us a fabulous Cami del Drac 2022 Carignan Blanc that was full of fruit , floral flavours with a slight hint of herbs which complemented the food perfectly. I finished with the evening with a Peach Old Fashioned to bring to and end a fantastic evening. The food created by chef / owner Chantelle and her team is incredible , in Zoe and Robin you have two amazing sommeliers who look after you throughout your visit. This really is a restaurant I would highly recommend and looking forward to many more visits in the future. Thank You Chantelle , Zoe , Robin and all the team for a wonderful evening and look forward to seeing you again soon.

The motivation for booking Apricity for my husbands 40th birthday lunch was having read a review about it gaining a michelin green star. My husband is quite eco-conscious and hates waste, so the ethos of such a venue seemed appropriate. The first thing I would say, is whilst they are clearly eco-conscious, it is not rammed down your throat; its just normal practice, which I wholeheartedly approve of and applaud. Well done Apricity! We had the 5 course tasting menu for lunch, with cheese and paired wine, which was excellent value. Service was superb; knowledgeable, friendly and not too stuffy. Dishes were really tasty- especially the carrot dish and the venison pithivier which was the tastiest venison I have ever eaten. Service was at a great pace; not too rushed and not waiting around for ages either. The wine selection was really interesting too and we took away information for future reference. Location wise, it is just off Oxford Street so nice and easy to get to. Lovely touch that they recognized my husbands birthday and brought out an extra special happy birthday plate with cookies and a candle. This venue has really excited me, and I am sure they are on task for a full michelin star soon! As a side note, some of the dishes were seasoned quite heavily, which is great for me as a salt lover, but may not be so popular with other diners.

We had heard about this restaurant but hadn’t had a chance to go so thought we would go before the end of the year! So pleased we did! A small sustainable no waste restaurant just off Oxford Street. It’s set out like a cafe with brick walls. We opted for the Saturday lunch with matching wines. From the first mouthful of chickpea and caramelised onions donut to the last of my chocolate mousse tart it was a delicious meal. We chose the ox tongue which was the texture of brisket and delicious. Matching wines were a great match. Our only complaint is that, apart from one, the wines weren’t poured in front of us. Being wine lovers we like to see the bottle, grapes, regions, vineyard etc. The waiter did explain the wines but really should have shown us all the bottles.

The food was delicious in terms of taste as well as creativity. We very much enjoyed the 5course dinner and had a chance to watch the kitchen team work as we were sitting at the chef’s table. Great atmosphere in the kitchen, no yelling and screaming, it seemed that they all enjoyed working there in this almost only women cooking team.

The food was nice but not exceptional. The portion sizes were on the smaller size. The atmosphere was ok however a tad pretentious.

Really fantastic food and a lovely restaurant. We had the tasting menu. Unfortunately there was some confusion with my order; When asked about dietary requirements I said I wasn't plant-based which meant I got 5 meat courses, (it wasn't explained to me that the tasting menu was mix and match) - so I missed out on all the lovely veggie options. Also this part of London is a little stuffy; a restaurant with such a modern menu and ethos would suit being somewhere a little cooler. I should say the wine pairing was all excellent and the sommelier was great.

I have eaten at a great many Michelin restaurants. The food here (I had the 7 course tasting menu) was some of the most impressive I have eaten. Every course delivered, which is often unusual in a tasting menu. My only complaint was the ambience doesn’t do the food justice. The focus on sustainability is laudable, but the hard chairs and plain wooden tables don’t imbue a luxury vibe. However 7 courses for £90 is genuinely good value at this level of quality

We went to Apricity with great expectations of dining at a restaurant what we thought is a game changer in sustainability and using great produce however we were bitterly disappointed with bad and very impersonal customer service, a rude waiting male staff member. Serious lack of communication in explaining the menu and courses and all done with an attitude, huffs and puffs and lack of bother. We wanted to know more about the restaurant’s sustainable initiatives in food and drinks and no one bothered to say anything. Food was average and in our opinion overpriced for what it was. Nothing worth mentioning, the beef bavette was tough and chewy, the courgette flower was so tiny and at £16 so not worth it. Very average starter of marinated tomatoes. Pre dessert was awful. At a high price that we paid we were offered a dinky donut as amuse Bouche and not a morsel or sip more to showcase the restaurant’s ethos of being sustainable or zero waste kinds. We felt a neglect especially more as we highlighted the lack of communication to the waiting staff and felt even more vengeful service. Not expected at all, a good evening which could have been but not so.

This is a truly first class restaurant serving exceptional food. Everything was unbelievably fresh and full of flavour and exquisitely served. The portions are tiny but that’s the point, it’s all about the flavours and fresh ingredients-don’t go if you want to feel uncomfortably full at the end, you won’t, you’ll simply leave with a smile on your face and say, that was an exceptional meal.

Just enjoyed a great meal here. The menu was very creative with a focus on low waste/carbon. The dishes were highly flavoured and quite light, so a perfect lunch. A special mention for the natural wines on the wine list - every time you try an orange wine, it's pot luck but this one came out so well, I'll looked to buy some when I got home. Gluten and dairy intolerances catered for really well too. Overall, a place to go if you enjoy creative cooking and/or an easier conscience about the environmental impact.

I had a superb meal at Apricity last summer and wanted to take my friends to enjoy it too. I had booked a table for lunch well in advance and received confirmation. I was therefore surprised nearly 3 weeks later to receive an email apologising and saying they did not know why the booking system was showing availability on that date as the restaurant was booked for an event. To be fair, they offered alternative dates and a glass of fizz but we decided to go elsewhere. Despite my asking, there was no explanation why it had taken nearly 3 weeks to tell me. Another friend suggested that they might have had a better offer - but I am sure that was not the case. However it was very unprofessional. I can only suggest that if anybody books, it would be a good idea to phone - perhaps several times - to check they are still going to honour the reservation!

I have never been in such a depressing room. Bare walls and bare tables with horribly uncomfortabke chairs. The sole waiter was so hostile we left. No wonder only one table was occupied. How on earthcan any sebsible person bear to even sit in this depressing place which oozes hostility. It also is hard to understand how a "restaurant" in Mayfair with a green Michelin star has no Campari. Go anywhere else.

Delightful. Such interesting food combinations, chouxnut for dessert is not to be missed. We had the five course tasting menu with paired wines. The Sommelier was very knowledgeable and explained what we were drinking and where it was from, he and all the staff were so friendly. Will definitely try and return.

Sustainable food , low waste , foraged ingredients , creative menus using the finest british produce , fabulous wine list and amazing service. If this is something that appeals to you then a visit to Apricity must be placed high on your list. They are also now the proud owners of a Michelin Green Star. This was our first time here and rest assured it will not be our last. We’d only had the pleasure of enjoying the food of chef Chantelle Nicholson once before when she was at Tredwells but have always been following what she was up to since. Unfortunately it’s been a year since the opening of Apricity before we managed to get here. But I’m so glad we’ve made it now. The restaurant is situated on Duke Street which is literally a short walk from Bond Street station. We arrived on saturday lunchtime and on entering received a lovely welcome from assistant manager Zoe. She gave us the option of a couple of tables so we opted to sit by the window. Once settled she came over to explain how the restaurant works. This starts by the menu to which you have to scan the QI. Code on your phone (don’t worry if you haven’t got a phone they will offer you the use of their IPad). It’s all part of the low waste theme. The menu consists of a Five or Seven Course Tasting Menu , A la Carte , Lunch Menu , Sides , an extensive wine list and a drink list. We decided to start with a glass of Manzanilla Sherry and an Old Fashioned Remy Cocktail of remy martin xo and apricot caramel while we looked at the menu. We opted for the seven course tasting menu where there is an option of two dishes for each course. This was great as it gave you the opportunity to try virtually all the dishes. Now for the wine where we were very interested in the Orange wines and after some advice from Zoe chose the Brisat Vermell 2021 from Entre Vinyes which was a delightful pairing for the food and one that I would recommend if your trying orange wine for the first time. We started with some Toklas Sourdough with hollis mead butter and citizens of soil olive oil. This was brought to the table along with a Chickpea Doughnut snack. Now it was time for our first courses. Here we began with the Braised Walmstone Farm Onion with an onion broth and chilli as well as the Venison and Pork Sausage with barbecued cabbage , wild garlic and a venison jam. These dishes were both excellent and very clever cookery that left us eager to see what was coming next. This was in fact mushroom heaven in the form of Crispy Oyster and Lion’s Mane Mushrooms with XO and wild garlic veloute and the Cornish Pollock Tartare with preserved wild garlic capers and hollis mead creme fraiche. The next courses were the Regent’s Canal Alexanders Tempura with cashew cheese and hampshire leaves. The other dish was a fabulous London Red Butterhead Salad with miso , rhubarb and almond. The flavour combinations are very different to what we’re used to but they are amazing. This led us to the main course where we both decided to choose the Rhug Estate Lamb with braised royal oak carrot , vadouvan and long lane sheep’s curd. If this dish wasn’t delicious enough we accompanied it with two side dishes of bedlam purple sprouting broccoli with black garlic emulsion and the heavenly mac ‘n’ roasted cauliflower kimcheese. With our main course we were treated to a glass of L’archetipo red wine from puglia whis paired beautifully with the lamb. Now we head to the Cheese Course which was a Rollright with preserved blackberry and a digestive crumb. Here Zoe treated us to a sample of La Calmette D’Vries Amour from France to try with the cheese and a delight it was to. This led us to the pre dessert a delicate Rhubarb with oat custard and crumble. We’ve made it to desserts and two more fabulous dishes were about to arrive. The first was a Meadow Sweet Custard with a magnolia granita and the second was the Chouxnut with baked apple and hollis mead double cream. These were just a great way to finish. We finished with a coffee to bring to an end a most enjoyable dining experience. The food created by chef Chantelle and her team is not only very clever but a absolute joy to eat. The service not only from Zoe but also Millie who it was also a delight to meet and looked after us superbly throughout our lunch. This is a restaurant I would highly recommend making a visit to. It was a real pleasure to try lots of new flavour combinations that was a credit to british produce. Thank You Chantelle , Eve , Zoe , Millie and all your team for a fantastic dining experience and look forward to seeing you all again soon.

I admire the ethos of the restaurant and the staff were very professional and personable. Children’s tasting menu was good as was ours, but felt the final bill was a lot for what we had. It’s great that others enjoyed it but we won’t be returning.

Last evening we went as a group friends 9 in total to the restaurant. The quality and the quantity of food was poor. When we complained to one of the member of stuff, asking to see the manager or chef, no one came to us to explain or apologise! Definitely Won't go back ever again. ☹
