Papillon deli & patisserie in Ealing

Went for the eggs royal it was ok however the toast was burnt on one side. The place is dated, the coffee is not great. It’s a functional cafe but if you’re looking for great service and good vibes this place isn’t it.

We recently used Papillon for their outside catering service for our daughter’s 6th birthday party. They catered for us for 40 children and around 4o adults. The quality of the food was absolutely outstanding, including sandwiches, pastries, hot and cold wraps, bagels and more. Many of our guests asked for their details. As an extra touch they even delivered the food to the venue for us as part of their amazing service. We live locally and often drop in for a coffee or lunch, which is always excellent.

Only discovered this place in the past few weeks - great for a late breakfast on a Sunday. Has a great community feeling. Really good menu and friendly atmosphere. Will be making this excellent cafe a regular stop!

I go to Papillon quite often as it's close to where I live and it's always a lovely experience. Food is very good, friendly service and reasonable prices. I recommend it!

My friend and I visited this place this morning and ordered two Northfield Egg Benedict. The menu has three options on the number of eggs, I think. We didn’t notice this. When waitress wanted to take the order, she didn’t ask how many eggs we want. She brought two eggs. The eggs was vinegary and really watery. The food did not taste good. We couldn’t finish it. The coffee was grainy. When we wanted to pay, we noticed the high bill of £21. We were told by the man behind the till that we had two eggs and if we did not specify for one egg, their standard is to bring two eggs if nothing specified. We said it is not right, the waitress should have asked. The man told us it is how their standard is and he does not own the place in a rude manner. I asked to speak to his manager and he said there is no one to speak to me whilst he was staring in my eyes in rude way and not being apologetic. My friend said it is fine, we don’t come back. In our surprise, the man told us, it is fine don’t come back again and moved his shoulder to show he doesn’t care. Please be aware, I was really calm through out the conversation and even try to say to the man that as a customer, I want to give feedback to their business but he was not interested. Please don’t go there if you don’t want to be treated as you are worthless.

We just popped in for coffee and cakes. The cakes were delicious and the coffee was good. The man who served us was friendly and went out of his way to make the small children who were with us, feel welcome and comfortable.

My wife and I popped in here for a very good pot of breakfast tea to have sitting in the sunshine. The price was reasonable.

I have had some great coffee here but it seems to depend who is on the machine as my cappuccino today was a perfectly nice latte so just too milky for me.

In an area choc a bloc with little cafes it's hard for somewhere to stand out. This place does so by the simple method of having relatively simple food, well cooked and presented and doing so at very reasonable prices. I think that the owners are an Italian family-- that is certainly the strong impression I get, and they are very friendly and welcoming. The food is deli style with a strong slant towards vegetarian--no beefburgers here-- and firm favourites are the Lasagne, Salads, Jacket Potatoes, and occasionally Tortilla. Everything home made and delicious probably home made cakes too. It can get very busy, and sometimes it does resemble a creche during mid mornings, so best stick to lunch time. Meal for two with drinks and a shared cake came to £15.

I’ve been there few times already. And everytime I did enjoyed. I like very much easy atmosphire - no rush no trouble kind of. Food is great, freshly made, everytime I can find there something delicious. Coffe is very nice and cakes are great! If You are not in rush and looking for casual, cosy place it is definatelly for You!

As there is only one chef and the food is cooked to order, you have to wait for the meals to be brought out. In the party next to us, the first diner had finished before the last diner got their food. Coffee and cakes come quicker. The food when it came was good,

Popped in here on way to work for takeaway cappuccino which was very nicely made and strong plus good value for £2.

Lovely little coffee shop not far from the park. The food is always fresh and different from the usual coffee shop food. Lots of flavours, fresh, quality ingredients, lots of healthy options. Latte tastes delicious. They have desserts and frozen yogurt too! :)

Delicious café food is served at this very unprepossessing café in Northfields. Beautiful fresh salads, great pasta and fabulous cakes. The coffee is good as well.
