As usual, very good service, food nicely presented, staff polite and responsive to customer needs. Background music just right, one could actually speak and be heard. Comfortable seating nice ambiance across the room. Toilets well cleaned, good lighting. Reasonable prices and many choices on the menu. If you need something specific way they strive to provide it. For instance I always ask for milk/tea to be separate purely because I only like a tot of milk and most places put far too much in. I'd definitely recommend The Sunshine for a good filling meal.

We visited 3 Nov. Good Coffe & lovely service from 2 young ladies , but spoilt by rude & sarcastic service from a middle aged bleach blonde lady who thought my daughters allergies & concerns were irrelevant. My daughter had a reaction & queried the contents of the product with the lady who was rude & dismissed her concern & sarcastically asked if she wanted an ambulance! A simple query that was appallingly dealt with. Not good enough, do better.

Stopped here for a birthday meal I was offered dry Turkey or bits of beef that my wife had … my server cut a nice slice of pork and pushed it to one side before cutting a lump of fat fat with a tiny amount of of lean. Then I got 3 roast potatoes a choice of leeks or cauliflower. Apparently not both , hard undercooked carrots And a pile of stuffing. If you want a carvery do not go here. £14 was way to much for the small meal I had.

I don’t normally write negative reviews but someone needs to do something. The place is filthy with ground in dirt, dust and trays that have plastic literally peeling off, the staff of 3 behind the counter were so busy talking between themselves that the customers were all but ignored. The cutlery was dirty and the server picks them up from the end you are supposed to put in your mouth. Not going back.

Walkabout always has a decent atmosphere of a weekend evening and yesterday was no exception with Karaoke - it was brilliant. Myself and a friend stepped outside to smoke and I was refused entry on the way back in for “having had too much”… I was yet to purchase a drink at Walkabout, and had 2 pints in another establishment, so suffice to say I was not drunk. I do, however, have an existing injury to my leg from some time ago which occasionally causes slight instability when walking and/or limping. This is the only explanation I can give for having been refused entry on this occasion, as my legs had flared up.. My friend politely asked for some further explanation from the doorman who made the call, which he refused to give. So either he didn’t like the look of us, or refused re-entry because it was 2 guys. Strange. As mentioned, I’d not purchased a drink in Walkabout so was no different compared to when I was first granted initial entry. It’s a shame because it’s a nice venue - but, perhaps they ought to consider the training of their security partners - as the 20-something year old security guard clearly requires some additional training.

My favourite cafe in existence to be completely honest is that if this cafe was a person, it would be the second profit. The cookies are so good that I'm not completely sure if they are made in earth and the sausage rolls are brilliant (and massive) the aioli is the best thing to ever be tasted in human existence and goes fabulously with wedges. If u need to go to a cafe in Norwich, go to two magpies it will change your life for the good!

Never been before so thought we’d check it out! Cafe gave garden centre vibes, busy, plenty of menu choice and large cakes. Was not wowed by the English breakfast. But sausages good quality so always a win! Generous portion. But I wish it had of come with beans! Instead I got cress on top which seems strange On a full breakfast but went with it! Food came pretty fast. We visited on a weekday. The waitress was friendly and polite.

Visted Southwold for the first time this year, today. Fancied a quick cuppa and saw that this had taken the space previously taken up by Costa. Was instantly welcomed by the batista. Order was given, and we went and sat down. Others in the café were having the afternoon tea and that looked fabulous! We settled with a fruit scone (asked jam choice!) and a tea-cake. Huge pot of tea, which did 4.5 cups, was very nice. Will definitely go back....maybe for afternoon tea!!

We decided to try this tea room for the first time after being given an afternoon tea for 2 gift card as a birthday treat. I have to say we were more than happy with the whole experience. It was welcoming, the staff were brilliant and the surroundings were very clean. We had 2 lovely sandwiches with a salad garnish. The salad leaves were so fresh, brilliant. Followed by 2 very good fruit scones, jam and clotted cream and more little cakes on the top tier of the cake stand . Tea and coffee was also included. Thank you.
