A Listers Bar in Suffolk Coastal

Was a great place, food and atmosphere lovely, service great, love band inside main bar if you wanted to dance but in the tent great for socialising

Decided to come here and celebrate my birthday wish I hadn't, Food was not good I had duck in pancake rolls small portion on the menu it says with rice noodles. When it came I had two overcooked small pancakes rolls sat on sliced cucumber when I asked where were the noodles the young lady went back to the kitchen to ask the chef. When she returned she said the chef said they are in the pancake rolls. No noodles. there were 8 of us 4 of our meals were no good. Don't understand how a chef can send out food that isn't up to standard The young ladies looking after us were lovely and we weren't charged for our meal. It ruined what was meant to be a special occasion ,,😟When I first moved to Woodbridge this was one of my favorite places to go and the food was very good can't say that now and the food doesn't justify what they are charging.

Refreshingly Nice, My first time here last evening, and its a really nice place, it does not have a extensive menu, which for some is a good thing. The staff could not do enough to be helpful, and that really does add to the experience. Its well worth another visit.

It was a fantastic evening the food and service were great. I had the slow braised lamb shank, it was perfectly cooked and delicious. Alisters has a great atmosphere and I would highly recommend this establishment.

Such a poor service! We were a large group of 18, pre booked our food and table booked for 19.30.Meals didn’t arrive until 21.00. Food arrived lukewarm and veg missing off plate. I had then finished eating my meal before the missing veg was bought out to the table! No condiments on the table and having to constantly ask for more drinks. Poor service ! Would not recommend and won’t return. ☹️

Table booked for 7.30 pm ….all meals pre booked did not start eating untill 9 pm . Roast potatoes were very hard and had to ask for more veg as when meal came out was only 3 Brussels sprouts on plate on menu it says with seasonal veg …food Luke warm . Was not asked once if we needed any mustard , salt pepper etc ( none on table )

Poor food, terrible yellow prawn curry poor taste and served on a plate as they had run out of bowls, 5 small prawns … Cocktail 2 for 1 was Alpro spritz served in a pint glass! Very weak mostly ice. The Red house wine was great and the staff were nice. Curries were kindly removed from bill but really not not restaurant worthy standard. Shame as regular customers…

Absolutely awful service. The food was nice enough. However, the lady manager is rude, and both times, I've been has tried to close everything early. The other waitresses were lovely and friendly, particularly a few of the lovely young ladies who worked, but the manager certainly needs training. I work in the same sector and she wouldn't last long. She's damaging your business!!

Very poor service. Wasn't even busy we had to get up to ask to order. Drinks came fairly quick we had a started to share but did ask to get mains going asap we then waited 45m for these. When questioned about mains was said they would be 5m... But 10m later and with two hungry and inpatient kids we stated that we would like to pay and go and all that was said was I'm sorry.. Charged us for drinks and starter and that was it...very disappointed tbh and I hate complaining but unfortunately it was our first time in this place and the last.

Very enjoyable evening at A-Listers. We had a selection of the small plates, tapas style and they were all good - both tasty and interesting. Dessert was also good - the Kilner jar sundae was very plentiful. Good selection of drinks including a lot of interesting cocktails. The Mean Girl went down well! Nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly and got the service just right, neither hovering nor ignoring us. When you wanted them to arrive, they did!

See a film at Riverside cinema and then go to A Listers for dinner, discounted cinema tickets and token towards dinner for £20 per person. Or drink and a cake for £5 per person. Salmon was delicious and chips with the fish and chips were big, fluffy and delicious. Highly recommended
