Came here for afternoon tea while visiting from the US. We had never had afternoon tea before and the staff was very friendly, and helped us choose which teas we might enjoy. They were not wrong. The food was delicious too. I honestly have never really enjoyed scones, but these were delicious. Then again, I'm from the US, so maybe I'd just never had proper scones before. Either way the staff was wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea.

A very enchanting cafe with a lovely cosy, relaxing atmosphere. I ordered quiche of the day which came with a selection of fresh vegetables and roast potatoes, absolutely delicious. I will most definitely returning.

Superb sandwiches, coffee and cakes. A real find. Extremely nice staff too. My mum and I enjoyed a lovely lunch in the park thanks to Daisy Sandwiches.

A relaxed atmosphere which we enjoy most weekends. Coffee is smooth and rich, as you'd expect from a coffee roaster. Staff are friendly and genuinely helpful.

I popped in yesterday afternoon about 1.45 pm having read the reviews. I must give you my opinion, the Large breakfast was terrible, the bacon black pudding egg and the oil drenched fried bread looked as i had been cooked hours before and just microwaved. Not a good experience for me. Explanation would be appreciated.

It was my first week in the area and fed up with the unboxing I was looking for a warm place to eat and relax. Accidentally I came across Star Inn and it was a big surprise when I saw the menu that they do pork schnitzel. Being my favourite dish when I travel in Europe it was no brainer. And indeed the portion was huge, the meat tender and well prepared with mash potatoes and pickles. Top notch. Will return again and again only for schnitzel.
