A small but creative menu making the most of Sussex produce. The vegetarian and vegan options were all delicious. Great house wine. Excellent service. And a real bonus: hearing aid wearers can enjoy their meal AND a conversation at the quiet window tables!

Too high end, all the cafes are trying to cater for the wealthy and the average Joe tradesman can't afford to eat in these places

Lovely little hidden gem in Stockport Underbank. Access by foot only as its in a pedestrian zone but we'll worth it. Food was delicious, service was with a smile and price wise average for a hipster type area. Can't pre book a table so come early to avoid disappointment. Would 100% recommend and definitely going again soon!

Excellent homemade food, great service at a reasonable price; what more could you ask for. A little off the beaten track but well worth a visit. We will definitely be going back.

I took my good lady wife and family to the The Carpenters Arms Italian Kitchen today for my wife’s birthday We all had great food and the staff were very welcoming and friendly staff I highly recommend this family busines, I’d suggest pre booking though as we arrive at 12 and o’clock and it was already busy

Consistent quality of tasty quality food delivered by friendly staff in a venue with its own style. Coffee is a winner.

Despite the size of our party (there were 12 of us!) the hospitality, patience and service was amazing and the food was great! Great spot for some grub and will be going there again, maybe just a table of 2 or 3 next time! 😁

We chose the fruit & kinder stack of pancakes and they were delicious, great portion size too. All the staff are really friendly and the service was quick. Definitely recommend and next time we’re in the lakes we will be revisiting! 🥞

Well well well, I don’t give a review often but for this one I don’t feel good if I don’t because they deserve it and they’re five star definitely. They also gave me some samples of their desserts and sweets it was fantastic I only had it in my home country but I surprised that they have it too. Amazing staff amazing stuff they have
