Railway Hotel Shepshed in Charnwood

As a paraplegic it has been a long time since I have felt that I'm not an inconvenience to the staff, and I can say without contravention I have never been treated so well. Helpfull, friendly, considerate and amicable. When (and I hope it will happen) I return I can only imagine I will have as much fun, be treated with such respect. Love this place xxx.

Good staff, good beer, plenty of events/ games on. Perfect for a night out or a Sunday bingo. Gets good bands on especially during summer for shepfest

Sadly witnessed the landlady on numerous occasions, discriminate, belittle, insult and quite frankly act absolutely disgusting towards a disabled middle aged customer. Continued to serve alcohol to them even though they were clearly already very intoxicated and does not obide to the law under her licence obligations. Persistently harassing him to drink beer dregs from the drip trays from behind the bar whilst intoxicated. These are to only name a few of her horrendous actions!

Dan and Emma are a fantastic couple who will give you a very warm welcome You get abit of banter from both of them along with other customers who join in aswell highly recommended 😎😎😎😎

Popped in here as a whim and am so pleased that we did- a convivial welcome and a cracking pint served definitely will be returning

Had a lovely visit to The Railway with my family. The Landlord and Lady are super warm, friendly and attentive. We loved it, as did our kids… great outdoors area for them. Lovely atmosphere and friendly locals too. Will definitely be back!

Been to the Railway Hotel a few times now when we have been in the area, we love a pub that is still a pub and that’s exactly what you get here. Lovely outdoor as well as inside too. Great selection of drinks available, a warm welcome from staff and nice atmosphere with the locals. We have always felt very welcome here and dropped on bingo one Sunday which was the highlight of the week, great banter and we even managed a win! We will definitely be returning when we need a drink after a long dog walk or hard day at work! Great place!

Its good to have a pub that is still a pub !! No not trying to pass as a restraunt or a gastro pub. You can get a drink and sit in the bear garden if the weather is good.

This pub is brilliant for families we came in the first time with the kids and the landlady bought a selection of games downstairs for them to play with beer is good with a wide selection and also very reasonably priced

Reasonable prices , friendly atmosphere , comfortable, pool table , good juke box and really amiable customers. What's not to like ?

Have been coming for many years and still is my favourite pub to go to. Always get a fantastic service from Emma,Dan and other staff. It's also a great place to go have a chat and a laugh with other people,particularly on days when entertaiment is on.

Emma and Dan are a friendly couple. Nothing is ever too much to ask for. Customers are approachable and great to talk to. Brilliant atmosphere in here. I’d recommend this pub to anyone and everyone!

Poped in for a drink at The Railway as its a lovely day and we are about. The Landlord had a plant sale man standing in the car park, and the plant sale is a seasonal trade, so that is great..no need to go garden center and you can have a nice cool glass of something . Great idea 🥂🪴🌺
