Cafe Acacia in Charnwood

Our first time in here. The interior is very nice. We had the full English & the slimmers full English. Absolutely perfect!! Couldn’t fault it!! & the prices are great!! We can’t wait to return!! I think next time I will try one of their 7 salads.

I go here a lot and have taken friends and family whom have then introduced others as they were so impressed. The food is cooked fresh and is really good, they are very welcoming and accommodating and has a lovely atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Three of dropped in Saturday, only one table available which augured well! All of us are vegetarian, so the veg breakfast and the eggs hollandaise, and toastie were ordered, all excellent. Good atmosphere, polite and busy staff. Highly recommended

What a great find. Travelled for a day out from Bramcote Nottingham and spotted this for lunch. Excellent service great food good prices friendly staff who cannot do enough to make it very enjoyable. Would book a table next time gets very busy.

Amazing afternoon tea took my boys and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was fantastic as always, and we were made to feel very welcome.

Been twice. Once for lunchtime snack and once in the evening for dinner with friends. What can I say, superb service food atmosphere and décor. The staff cannot do enough for you, very friendly and informative. The food quality and presentation is superb. Very reasonable prices. You can absolutely tell that lots of love care and attention goes into this place in terms of quality of service. This is a small local cafe which I will now definitely make a regular visit, important to support local!

Last night we where lucky enough to be able to have the caffe to ourselves for a work leaving do. The cafe is absolutely beautifully decorated and very well equipped, with music and even a microphone!! That we enjoyed a bit too much. The food was absolutely outstanding you can tell that the team really go above and beyond for their customers and have real pride in what they do. Not only did the food taste delicious, we had a few dietary requirements that where catered for with out any qualms and with lots of options rather than just basic. Jess the owner even went out to talk people through what she had done (gluten-free cheese scones for those who required it) so kind. We where able to sit outside as the cafe is situated just to catch the sun in the summer evenings, Ian bought us chairs and tables out so more of us could fit… that was very sweet. The waitress on shift could not have been more attentive if she tried! Really lovely girl who kept our drinks topped up :) We had an amazing evening! Thank-you so much!! Lots of love Hannah

We just collected an absolutely lovely afternoon tea from here. Cannot fault it at all. Friendly staff. Sandwich fillings were amazing and plenty of filling. Definitely will be returning.

Wow From making the initial enquiry to paying the bill First class Nothing was too much trouble for these guys I was made to feel like a valued customer even though I had intolerances and needed time to choose I was sent options via messenger so I had time to think They even had diabetic Victoria sandwich for my friend The food was beautifully cooked and presented Loved it Will be back and have told everyone to come and try it

We went for a steak last night, absolutely love this cafe, it has such a lovely relaxing atmosphere, the staff are great, very helpful and will assist with any queries you may have. The steak was fantastic and at such a great price, how can you not visit here! It’s a comfy cosy place, day or night, with friends or partners and we will definitely be back soon! Even got to try a cheeky new cocktail 😂

Visited in March with my sister and mum. Very friendly service. Cosy cafe with good extensive menu. Had toastie, baked potato and ham & chips, and an extra portion of chips - everything was delicious and generous so we didn’t actually need the extra chips, though we did particularly like the home made chips so definitely not complaining. Really enjoyed our quick stop lunch and if we are in the area again will definitely go and eat there again.

I have been in there for Breakfast (Slimming options), lunch and dinner and the owners and staff have always excelled every time. They have a wide variety on the menu and the food is always cooked to perfection.Throughout lockdown they have continued to adapt to the ever changing rules and have always gone up and beyond.

We enjoyed an excellent afternoon tea here yesterday afternoon. The table was especially decorated with a pink tablecloth with a vase of roses - hence the anbience! All staff were masked and most helpful and all the food was home-made. The finger sandwiches of salmon and cucumber, chicken and cranberry and cheese and pickle were generously filled, the quiche very tasty, and the home-made scones light and complemented by large dishes of strawberry jam and of fresh cream. Fresh strawberries and grapes were complemented by choc mint sticks. We had to take the four slices of cake and some of the quiche home with us in boxes kindly supplied by Cafe Ambience. Highly recommended!

Happy it's open again after the lockdown. Really good measures put in place to keep everyone safe. Already been in for few breakfasts and coffees. Big portions and now they have a new menu as well. Staff is wonderful as always.

Myself and a friend ordered lunch, drinks and hot drinks to be delivered to work and they did not disappoint! The food turned up on time, fresh and tasty! Added bonus it was nicely presented which is sometimes lacking in a takeaway! The price was really fair! We were more than impressed! We are looking forward to ordering again! They also have a decent range to choose from on their take away menu! I would highly recommend cafe ambience take away! There would be more photos but we were too busy eating it!

So, afternoon tea for two..... £25.... What can I say, we ordered for between 2.30 and 3, got a phone call to ask if we would mind it being delivered at 2 so said that was fine..... and eventually was delivered at 2.50.What a disappointment and the worst value ever. At cost value £6 tops... tiny sandwiches, hard scones, not enough clotted cream for 1 let alone 2 and only one very slim piece of quiche..for 2 I think not. The only redeeming feature was the Victoria sponge but certainly a very expensive feature! Certainly would not recommend. Get down to waitrose and make your own for loads and loads cheaper!! Very disappointed.

I would like to say a huge Thank You to Cafe Ambience. My Dad and his wife had been bought an afternoon tea,to be delivered, but sadly my Dad had to go into hospital and was unable to take delivery of the food. The tea was received by the buyer(and enjoyed!) However, now Dad is out of hospital, Cafe Ambience have sent him and his wife a lovely afternoon tea free of charge! Such a lovely gesture and so thoughtful. Dad and Wendy were delighted!! Thank you.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic we were unable to celebrate wife's birthday. without her knowledge our granddaughters organised an afternoon tea to e delivered comprising scones, butter, jam, fresh strawberry & clotted cream along with a heart shaped victoria sponge. We shared the experience and to say it was delicious was an absolute understatement. it was fantastic and when all this mayhem is over we will definately treat ourselves again and again at the restaurant itself. Met as a group of four for lunch and a natter. Good selection on the menu and a nice cup of coffee while we waited. Service was very good and when the food arrived it was freshly prepared and tasty. Very impressed and will definitely go back.

Decided to visit this morning whilst I had a very rare couple of hours with my husband. Not only is the food lovely but they also do a slimmers menu which is amazing! The staff were lovely, the place is just fab! Can't wait to visit again

We recently attended a Gin tasting evening with Tapas. The evening was fantastic from start to finish. The hosts could not be more accommodating and go the extra mile to ensure everybody is made to feel welcome.If you are looking for good value food and drinks in very pleasant surroundings this is the place for you.

We have been here multiple times over the last few months. Jess & Iain make you feel so welcome and always cater to your every need. The food and drinks here are amazing. I attended the latest Gin Tasting night and I wasn't disappointed. The night was perfect from start to finish and i would definitely recommend to everyone.

well what a lovely lunch a friend and myself nearly walked past , but boy am i glad we didnt , great staff that could not do enough for you clean well presented table , i had a large all day breakfast my friend had a chicken wrap with a huge side of fries glass of wine cappachino pot of tea all for less than £ 25

Excellent food, friendly service. Always ensure everything ok, nothing is too much trouble Happy to give advice on drinks, gin collection comprehensive and amazing. Highly recommend a visit and have done to several friends and family, particularly as they cater for differing dietary requirements.

This little cafe is a gem. Probably the best little cafe on Loughborough. Lovely staff, great food and a complete menu for slimming world and people on diets. Beautiful little gem.

We had a fantastic Christmas party here. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and the food was great. Excellent value for money would definitely recommend.

The cafe has a really lovely atmosphere for all. I can see why it it called Cafe Ambience. The cafe has a wide range if foods and drinks and even caters for allergies and weight watchers menus.

A group of us had food and a gin tasting and had a great time. Nice way to spend an evening and very reasonably priced.

The service is always warm and welcoming, great food and smart surroundings. I like the fact that food is always good with healthy choices. I visit at least once a week as the tea is excellent.

The staff are always welcoming and, for me, the Slimming World menu options are a real bonus. Good, fresh cooked food and tea that actually tastes like good quality tea.

My partner and I popped in here for lunch on 17 Dec with my sister, a Loughborough resident, on her recommndation. It was a delight. My sister and I had gammon, egg and triple cooked chips. The ham was delicious, freshly carved off the bone, and the chips were superb. My partner had a jacket potato with cheese and coleslaw and even with such a simple and straightfroward dish Cafe Ambience scored a hit. We finished our meal with some fine coffee. The staff were superb, the surroundings very relaxing and the service magnificent. Will most definitely be visiting again next time we are in Loughborough and we cannot recommend this little gem highly enough.

We were looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat in town and stumbled across this cafe. I ordered smoked salmon & scrambled egg and my son had a bacon and Brie panini and both meals were really nice and beautifully presented. I am Following Slimming World at the moment so it was great to see they had a Slimmers menu with a variety of SW friendly choices but also great normal choices on the rest of the menu. Loved it here and this will be our place to go now :)

If you are in Loughborough you have to visit this little cafe , for those of us doing slimming world they have plenty of options including air fried chips , omelettes , crust less quiche and breakfasts etc.

Chips are hand cut and cooked to order , perfectly crispy and salty. The burger delicious, mix of sweetness from the bun and freshness from the salad. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Staff supper friendly and welcoming, excellent service and great prices. Lovely ambiance to this small wonder of a cafe in a busy town.

Visited on a Thursday night post cinema. Wow what a find! Well worth 5 min walk to this independent operator. Cafe in day and Wine Bar/ tapas in evening. My daughter and I enjoyed 6 Generous Tapas plates superbly cooked and a bottle of red and coffees for under £40. The gin,whisky, champagne menu was superb.

Immediately on entering the cafe we were greeted cheerfully which is so refreshing. Great choice of quality food ranging from delicious quiche and salad to the not so healthy but absolutely amazing proper home-made chips. This is a chic cafe; great decor, friendly staff, spotlessly clean, superb food and lovely ambience. Very reasonably priced too so what’s not to like? Will definitely return... the afternoon tea looks amazing so will have to give that a try!

I went there for a morning coffee which was very good. Nice place with cozy sofas (not so good for morning visit- makes you want to stay for much longer).

Serves really good food, also very good price for drinks, big variety of wine. Coffees and cakes are nice too. Been there twice, evening and daytime and loved it both times. Highly recommended.

Visiting Loughborough we came across this cafe at lunch time. The staff were friendly and the food wonderful. I can honestly say that they served me the best quiche and salad ever! I have never seen such a variety of salad and coleslaw on one plate, and the quiche was to die for.

Nice friendly cafe in town centre which is undergoing a refurbishment and will then be called cafe ambience. Always good service and nice fresh food! Worth a look!

What a wonderful afternoon, firstly let me express my gratitude to the owners for helping make my sister in laws baby shower so perfect. Nothing was too much from booking and initial enquiries to even helping suggest places to get baby shower decorations and decorating the table. Food was absolutely out of this world, amazing selections of sandwiches wraps, pasta, fruit salads, scones of various flavours, cream jam and then a full selection of cakes inc brownies, mini meringues, the amount was so plentiful many of us too items home in boxes.....and all for £10 per head. Some of us also had prosecco as they have an alcohol licence too ! An absolute gem where all 13 of us said we would go back again and again......if you want cake, coffee lunch this is the place to go. Thank you we had a fabulous afternoon !

Popped in here with a couple of friends, and the lady serving was friendly and polite. The place was clean and there was array of food on display like quiches and other snacks.

This has reverted back to a smallish cafe but still nice decor and pleasant to visit for cakes and light lunches. Coffee was particularly nice and other chilled stuff looked tempting!

Cafe Acacia is a brilliant addition to Loughborough's high street! Particularly if you are following a diet plan or watching what you eat. They have some fantastic healthy eating options as well as a beautiful collection of stunning cakes and meals. The staff can't do enough for you and the service is quick and friendly. Definately my new favourite lunch location.
