Green deli in Charnwood

A great little place to stop off at for a break in Thurmaston 👍

I would highly recommend the little green deli. Its highest level food hygiene certification initially drew my attention towards them. And this was the case with the quality of the food. The food was hot and arrived in time and was well prepared and packed with quality ingredients. I am a regular but fussy eater on the just eat app. But I will certainly be eating from the little green deli again and will be looking forward to the high quality food and standards that I received today. A++👍

Really nice place, when they deliver.. always on just eat but prob will only accept your order 50% of the time. Like I said, the food is amazing when it’s delivered. It’s just starting to become a place where I cannot trust it to be. If you cannot commit to delivering, maybe you should come off just eat. It’s frustrating putting an order in for it to be rejected 10 mins later.

Ordered at 1025 arrived 1140 so well out of the 30-40 min timeframe but burger was filling and well wrapped

Cold on arrival considering it arrived on time. Quality of food not the best. The hash browns were decent.

Food was delicious, hot and on time was lovely. Best thing is they that prepare ur food once a driver is assigned others normally have ur food prepared no driver and when it comes its cold. This was hot yummy and definitely highly recommended thanks so much

Really nice food, good quality. The only comment I would make is they sometimes don't read information put on the order ie no tomatoes. I don't like them and it spoils the breakfast having to scrap them off and loosing some mushrooms in the process. Even so, it's still my go to to order a full English. Keep up the good work <3

We ordered the Big Breakfast and in both boxes the Bread & Butter was missing! Couldn’t say anything other then requesting a full refund which we didn’t want to do.

The food was awful! It was cold. The bacon was just fat. The baguette was soggy and did not at all resemble a baguette. Eggs were dry and and overcooked!

Lovley little place found by accident. Food excellent, no complaints at all. Friendly service. Used a couple of times while walking. It would be nice to add a couple of chairs and a table, foldaway that can be kept in the van overnight. Highly recommend. UPDATE 10-05-23 They have moved further down the road to an enclosed area (across the road from an exit from Watermead Park). The artificial turf and benches make it a pleasant area to eat their food, which is always delicious. There is also a place to park your car for take away customers. The two ladies that run the deli are always friendly and will make anything you ask for

Just spent 30 odd quid on 3 breakfasts and a breakfast baguette. The breakfast are large and nearly 7 quid each. I cannot see how they can call it a large and justify the amount they are charging. The breakfast is tiny, the beans and tomatoes can in polystyrene cups that are at the very most a quarter full. A complete joke and an absolute rip off. I will be complaining and seeking my money back. Never seen anything like it!

Been using this deli since the day it opened, I have always found the food and service to be of hire standard, Now opened second deli in Thurmaston of which is of the same standards excellent Thanks girls keep up the good work !!!!

Food is always good, tasty and great value. Can't fault the service either. I use the Deli van around 3 times a week and wouldn't go anywhere else 😁.

Attempted to inquire about placing an order over the phone, and was met with a sarcastic comment before being hung up on. Not entirely the kind of service you'd expect when attempting to give an establishment your business. Unprofessional doesn't even cover it.

Excellent choice. Pasta boxes. Jackets. Baguettes. Cobs. Toasties. Lisa and staff very friendly and welcoming. A little gem.

Great breakfast with fresh brewed coffee

At first glance maybe this does not look like it may be good. It is located off road in front of a church and on a main road through the village. That may not sound like it makes sense but when you see it you will see. There is parking on the busy street. The staff are really nice and friendly, prices are keen but for a small place there is great choice. There is no wonder I see a queue outside very often. Well recommended to try and I will return.

Been a couple of times and the food has always been top notch. Use a lot of quality ingredients and you can notice the difference. Wouldn't tie it in with normal road side cafe.

This little gem of a deli has lots of choice so you can never be disappointed, i had the usual bacon and tomatoe baguette yesterday, and it was lovely, the bread is very nice and the bacon packs lots of flavour. i remember eating here at xmas and i had the "xmas special" bacon, sausage and turkey with stuffing and cranberry on baguette it was the best baguette i have ever tasted! thanks green deli and keep the good grub coming...
