This is such a wonderful cafe run by the son of the original owners who used to use the premises as a paper shop for years. He and his wife are continuing a tradition of service to the community with a lovely warm and welcoming place serving first class food and drinks.

One of the best cafes we’ve been to and believe me we’ve been to a lot! Make sure you try the sausage roll with chutney, the coffee is lovely and very good milkshakes. The couple that run it are very welcoming and friendly which makes returning too easy! Go and try it you won’t be disappointed.

What an amazing afternoon at The Bridge for my daughters baby shower we could not have chosen anywhere better, the food and ambience was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Phil and Pam did a fantastic job and as always the homemade sausage rolls were definately the star of the show. All our friends are now new customers and we look forward to many more visits. Thanks also to Olivia for the great service.

Great little independent cafe - compact inside but with outside seating too. Does a good cuppa and choice of teas as well as a good coffee. Delicious selection of snacks and sandwiches, plus lovely staff for whom nothing seems too much trouble. Love this place and definitely a hidden little jewel.

It’s a nice little cafe Nothing exceptional about it just good coffee and nice cake. If you walk dog or take kids to park then good little stop off. If you fancy coming out of timperley a bit then a good change from Costa.

Lovely bacon buttie at The Bridge! Friendly service and reasonable prices. Better than the big coffee chains! Keep it local! Lovely seating area outside on wide pavement in sun or shade depending on your preference. Family run business. Cosy inside and roaring fire in winter. Choice of tables, benches or comfy setees by the fire. Always enjoy it here as never rushed to finish or to get more drinks but do anyway. Thank you for excellent service.

First of all this is an absolutely brilliant cafe. The owners are great and genuinely care for the customer. The service and food are excellent. However my last visit was ruined by a group of mothers with toddlers. They gather regularly on a Tuesday I believe. The issue was the almost constant and unchecked screaming by some of the children. Now I know this is a contentious point but I make no apology. Other people should not be expected to put up with this type of behaviour. It is unfair on the cafe owners too who are placed in an invidious position. I would just ask if the ladies concerned read this that they consider other people when out in public. We don't all love the vague ties and idiosyncrasies of their little bundles of joy. To reiterate this is an excellent cafe.

It's great to have such a great independent cafe on our doorstep. We think it's just perfect. The paninis are really fresh and homemade, unlike some of the bought in versions in some other coffee shops, Our children love the bacon and sausage baps and the brownies. The coffee too is worth a mention - lovely, always steaming hot and full to the brim.

I really like the bridge cafe I go ther everyday and get a little snack and occasionally get a hot chocolate the reason why I say it's average is because everything thing is very over priced and I don't like spending to much each day I do recommend this cafe very much

Helpful owners who prepared some food for my friends baby and heated mine up with no problems - even helped us out with our prams. Also toilets the most immaculate I have seen in a long time which is very important to me!

This is a lovely little cafe in a small group of shops in Timperley. It offers a simple menu of fresh, tasty items. On a winter's day lunchtime, we chose the soup which was a delicious mushroom soup served with a roll. Other options included toasties and paninis. When it came to coffee and cake, we were pleased to be told that their Americano coffees came as a double shot. The cherry scones with jam and cream went well with our coffees. The cafe has considerable ambiance - a lovely blazing fire in winter, lots of natural light through the front windows and wooden furniture. Free wifi and a choice of newspapers are also appreciated. A cafe run by local, customer-focused owners is always going to mean good service. We will be more than happy to return.

We've visited this café a few times and we're always greeted with a warm welcome. They serve a nice range of food (including breakfast baps, panini's, home-made pork and apple rolls, home-made soup, cakes, scones, cookies and biscuits). The coffees and teas (including speciality teas) are always good. Although only small the café offers a selection of different seating which, together with great background music, creates a relaxing homely feel. We will continue to frequent this real gem.

Visited this establishment twice now and love it. It's mainly a coffee shop and has that vibe, but they also do excellent light bites as well. Don't go thinking that they do an extensive menu as they don't. Lovely bare brick walls showing. Attentive, but not intrusive, service. The owner explained that it was previously a newsagents and his parents still lived in the flat upstairs. It brought back memories, as I used to visit the shop on my way to school. Going back again next week, so that will be 3 visits in less than 1 month. As far as I'm concerned they're definitely doing something good.

In the quest of the area to become up to date it places such as this and others in Timperley that lift it out of mediocrity. Next to the park so kids can have a run while you watch drinking good coffee.

Second visit to The Bridge. Friendly proprietors make you feel welcome at this local coffee shop. The coffee is excellent with an increasing range of cakes. Decor is warm and inviting especially the log burner on the cold damp days. Today we sat outside in the sunshine - is this cafe society coming to Timperley? Definitely recommend if you are passing, it's nice to support good local business.

We popped in for a look today and ended up staying for lunch! It's bigger inside than you think and everything was fresh and delicious with service to match and very reasonable prices. It was very clean, but with a warm atmosphere. It is more of a cafe, but has paninis for lunch and a good selection of cakes. They also do takeaways if you want something to take to the park next door...a welcome local edition !

Passing through the area on business and found this lovely independent coffee shop. I was cold hungry and in need of a nice cup of coffee. With it's log fire, cosy settee, relaxing decor and very friendly owners I was not disappointed. The coffee was of a very good quality and my toastie was freshly made with plenty of quality filling. The whole place was immaculately clean and on talking to the owners learnt that the shop was a new venture and they had only been open a couple of weeks. Well I would like to congratulate them and wish them good luck for the future and I certainly will be back when next in the area. Keep the seat by the fire free for me.

This cafe is a welcome and recent addition to the community on the site of a former newsagents. They have made a good use of the space available and there are plenty of seats inside and four sets of tables and chairs outside. The menu is concise and simple but given there isn't a huge kitchen area I agree with their decision to not serve all day breakfasts etc...

We absolutely love Lift Up! As very frequent visiters to Chill we are here often. Fab tea and hot chocolate (gold dust anyone?!) and the cakes are epic. Especially love the banana bread and homemade cakes. Food is lovely and even the fussy ones find something. Would like to visit to dine and drink in a bit more but one member of our family gets a bit anxious in closed in spaces so it can be a bit much as often very busy. Takeaway is an option available.
