What a great place and atmosphere, the staff and the karaoke nights are excellent. Especially when Josh the compare and singer sings and makes everyone feel energised and then everyone is happy to get involved!!

Best bar in Stretford by a mile. Gareth, Jan & Amera great hosts and will do anything for you. They even allow a CITY fan in when Utd are on the tv just so I can annoy the reds. Can`t speak highly enough about the place.

I've been coming here for the last couple of years with family/friends when we watch Man Utd. We are always here a few hours before KO and it is a popular place. The staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome. At time goes on you're on first name terms which just adds to the general welcoming vibe. The selection of beer/spirits is wide ranging and the prices are decent, I've never paid more than £4.50 a pint. The food available on match days is reasonably priced as well, deffo cheaper than some of the stands/huts on the way to Old Trafford. Coming here is part of the match day routine and it won't change anytime soon! I'm back in September and I'm sure the guys can't wait to see me! Hahaha UTD UTD UTD!

Top pre match pub, lush beers and top atmosphere

What a great night, met up with friends and had a top night, gourmet burger was the best ever. Aberdeen Angus was mint, home made pizzas to die for, what can I say, it was ace. One of our party had nandos style chicken and they loved it, anyway I digress, what a top night, great variety of alcohol and the bar staff and owner who we spoke to was so polite and entertaining. I normally slate bars and restaurants if you read my reviews but I have to praise this one. Top night and have booked to revisit next week. 👍🍕🍔🍻🥂🍹

Great staff lovely food had an enjoyable few hours in there

Been coming here for the last 18 months or so everytime we go up to watch United. In here for a couple of hours or so before kick-off and never been anywhere else since we came here the first time. Staff are superb, so friendly and they get to know your face and look after you. Have to say the range of lagers and beers is superb! I love all the different pilsners and other beers on draught from all over Europe. Massive range of spirits too! Very reasonably priced. Good for food too. It does vary depending on the day but again very decently priced. Seems like it just attracts decent folk too, got familiar with some folk on matchdays now so it's great for a pre game chat. Again, the chap and his wife who run it and the young lass are so nice, big part of why we always come here. See you next weekend for the Reading game!

Great new addition to Gorse Hill.

Stopped on Saturday afternoon on the way past. We chatted with the staff who were very friendly and made us at ease with all the social distancing measures in place. Excellent choice of beers, comfortable seating inside and also a good outside area too

Rank food. Cheap ingredients and even cheaper staff. Discourteous and disingenuous and I would never recommend this place to anyone. I was shocked how this place had any good reviews.

Not happy. This place just woke me up on my day off on a Saturday morning to tell me my order was ready. When I said I hadn’t ordered, they simply hung up. No explanation, no apology, nothing. I called back and they did the same. The owner then came on the fone and called me a liar. Rude isn’t strong enough. Will not use again, and will advise everyone I know to do the same. Food 2/5

Me and my family stopped by here on passing for something to eat, as we were both hungry. Me and my wife ordered a breakfast. Was the worst breakfast that me and my family have ever eaten together. The toast had been buttered cold. The tea was half of the cups and too strong, the sausages were cheap and nasty. Was like a budget breakfast. Things were also missing, which we had to ask for and eat half of the food whilst waiting. We also had to wait nearly 1 hour for the food and only a few people eating inside. Since we were there, the owners were constantly apologising to their customers. Although pleasant enough, first impression was that this is a 'Chuckle Brothers' Mickey Mouse type of business. Unsure how they are still trading - as is being run on a shoe string. I suspect that there is no other café around. Will never eat here again, sadly.

We order every week with out fail , the customer service is amazing always friendly no messing round with orders always spot on and the food cooked to perfection , when I collect jan always has a brew waiting for me and my food hot and fresh. Met the owner lovely man n his staff are friendly n polite too. Exceptional value and they have just started serving beer on draught/ wine by the glass or buy the bottle. Go in give em a try tables inside too. Excellent especially on match days and eating out of town instead of paying city centre prices. Win win in my opinion

Went to the cafe this morning and had a lovely breakfast. I chose a small breakfast and still feel full at 1pm. You cannot see any grease and the meat is good quality. The staff are really friendly and very accommodating. Would defo recommend the breakfasts if you are nearby.

What a lovely little cafe, didn't eat but was made to feel really welcome and we got a proper mug of tea 👍. Nice and clean. Will defo return to try the food.

I’ve placed one order myself from ‘The Lunch Box’ however my partner has ordered a couple of time and the three stars is for the food. It’s always been tasty, not always hot but warm. Unfortunately I’d give 4 stars if it wasn’t for my own ordering experience this morning. I placed my order at like 10:10 this morning and it was out for delivery by 10:30 ish which was fab. However the driver completed the delivery at about 10:40, with it being no where near my house. So naturally I called ‘The Lunch Box’ more so to check if they use uber drivers or the own driver, so I could figure out where this error may have come from. The gentleman on the phone was nice, but when I described what had happened he was already aware that there had been a mix up with the orders, two orders had similar names, his explanation didn’t come with any sort of reassurance that they would be replacing the food which would undoubtedly be much colder. I’m also not sure as to why they didn’t think it appropriate to call or reach out to the customer to make them aware of the delay they caused by messing up the orders? It’s now 11:40 I still have not received my order and after speaking with the restaurant again I’ve been left to fend for myself by contacting the driver and figuring out where he is. On speaking with the restaurant a second time the gentleman seemed shocked that it has still not been received, even tho no one had contacted me to check. So overall I’ve enjoyed the food when I have received it, but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth & all I wanted was a nice sandwich :(
