Us Four in Trafford

Visited here a couple of times before and have ordered a takeaway Afternoon Tea (which was lush). But on Sat we had been to Media City and just got off the tram on a hot, muggy day. The icecream van at Media City had gone = sad kids! We were about to walk home via the canal when we saw the Mr Whippy sign in Us Four. So we walked in & the kids were overjoyed at not only the Mr Whippy icecream (the best they said) but the selection of cones & toppings!!!! So happy children! And when you have happy children you always get happy parents so we decided to have a chill & a lovely beer too. I can't thank tne two staff enough (Connor & Michaela). You were both totally engaging to our children. You went anove & beyond! You put on whatever music we wanted, so we ended up having our own little family disco. We enjoyed it so much we stayed for another drink & the kids had another dessert! It was honestly the perfect end to a fantastic day out. To the owners........ I honestly can't thank Connor & Micheala enough for the hospitality, engaging with our children and just being really nice people to get to know. The vibe was spot on, the beers were ice cold, the kids loved their desserts and the music was just great! Plus the decor is v cool & totally up our street!!! Thankyou UsFour!

love this place, can't wait to go inside again. Love drinking their cocktails at night but the panini choices in the day are amazing. Great staff and great table service, making everyone feel safe

Such a wide choice of drinks and food, including vegan options, and staff are lovely. Never disappoints.

Prior to COVID we have had drinks here as it is a bar as well as serving food, coffee, soft drinks and delicious milkshakes. There is a really nice friendly atmosphere. So please ensure you sit in when we are all able to again. We ordered a Valentine's afternoon tea for two and collected it on Sunday morning. It was ready to collect on time and was perfect in every way. A great family business that all locals should support. We will be ordering a Mothers Day afternoon tea takeaway for sure. We had a delicious vegetarian platter.

Us Four is a family favorite of ours and has been since it opened. We love coming on a Sunday for milkshakes (and maybe a sneaky pint of cruz).We've visited the window during lockdown for takeaway drinks and thought we would treat ourselves for Valentines to an afternoon tea. We were not disappointed...loads of fully loaded sandwiches with delicious fillings, not just your standard ham or egg mayo, a bit more adventurous and absolutely delicious. The cakes and the scone were so fresh, the lemon cake was melt in the mouth. All washed down with two thick and creamy shakes.We were absolutely stuffed and had to save some of the cakes for the next day.Great service as well, helped down to the car with my box and drinks!If you have not been here it is a MUST for families and its great to sit outside in summer with a pint....or coffee, whatever takes your fancy.

Had the pleasure of enjoying an afternoon tea on Valentine’s weekend. Such good value for money, the food is really fresh, tasty and you get SO much. Definitely recommend, I have been coming since it opened there is so much to choose from. Amazing location too if your looking for a stop on your walk.

I ordered a couple of weeks ago & was updated several times about what they were offering. Pre ordered and pre paid & collected on the day. It was presented beautifully and the contents of various sandwiches, wraps, cakes, scones and drinks were of an excellent quality. Will definitely use this service again. We have just had a Valentines afternoon tea which has been organised for a few weeks we have had constant updates with the progress of what we could have included in the afternoon tea. Absolutely fantastic service & friendly staff. It is fantastic of places to go even under the current challenging circumstances. Thank you so much to all the staff for their excellent and friendly approach. It is somewhere we enjoy to go when we are able to sit in but also to take away. Thank you again and keep being amazing.

We have stayed here on many occasions and what a wonderful place this is. The cakes the Paninis and Hot Dogs all first class and freshly made.Before Lockdown we used to stop off with our dog and enjoyed a pint and gin and tonic in a unique setting. Finally for my wifes retirement in January we ordered a excellent takeaway Afternoon Tea for two which was of a stunning quality.Just try you will not be disappointed !

We ordered an afternoon tea takeaway for my mums birthday today and safe to say we were not disappointed!! Fabulous service from start to finish! I have two little boys and they even put a special box together just for them which they loved.. the sandwiches and cakes (which there was lots of and lots of choice) were fresh and delicious.. my mum even said it was better than afternoon tea at the midland!! Would definitely recommend!!

lovely choice of everything under these current restrictions Corona. There is a huge hot drink menu and milkshake + smoothie menu. I loved going here for pints and alcohol in my hot chocolates before Corona. When life is more normal - we can't wait for that trip inside again. Kids love it too, the cakes are amazing. Staff always go that extra mile and save us a table when needed. It's currently serving out the window and seems to do well too

We have visited many times and really love this place however sadly we will not be back until restrictions are lifted and we can visit safely The queue today for takeaway felt very unsafe and certainly there was no social distancing not the proprietors fault but there’s to control It’s all part of the business

Ended up here after walking along the canal, and had a really nice experience. Lovely cold beer in the sun, and friendly family service.

Friendly service: Great coffee and delicious lite bites. Staff are super friendly, food service is great and efficient. Clean and cosy. Very welcoming. Unfortunately today there was another person dinning who was really unpleasant to the staff : shouting about the lack of a side salad. Really !!

A lovely themed cafe near the metro link which has a mixture of sweets on offer. They offer a large variety of flavoured milkshakes, which seems to be a winner with my kids. To go with a cup of tea I have tried a few cakes. Some were a little dry but that can happen when refrigerating cakes. I had a mint cake that looked amazing but was so powerfully flavoured I couldn't eat it ( I didn't know that could happen either ). Forget that though, the caramel cake pictured with my slice missing was phenomenal, simply phenomenal. Tasty, sweet and enough, that is when you know it is an amazing cake. It is a small cafe with outside seating that can be hard to get in sometimes due to it's own success.

I know Sale very well but this is my first time at US Four. After a lovely walk along the canal from Sale centre to Brooklands, US Four served great coffee in an attractive American Diner style cafe. Highly recommended.

A quirky spot at Brooklands met stop, it is deceptively big inside with maybe 9? tables inside including some high and some booths.I've never eaten there but the drinks are reasonable value and have a good selection. Cater well to families but also a nice place for a glass of wine or two!Decor is very well done in American diner theme and they often have seats outside in the nice weather. Believe it's run by a family and staff are always very friendly and welcoming!

Went in summer walk along canal and stopped for drink and snack Good value great service also handy if going on metrolink to town or Altrincham Very clean and fresh look to it

If you haven’t been you need to take a trip there, a family ran American diner with delicious food, shakes, cocktails and many more luxurious treats. Great for catch ups or days out with the family or even just a quick stop to get a drink! Wide range of hot and cold drinks and Black Forest hot chocolate is defo one of my favs! Old style working juke box playing feel good music! They have movie nights and afternoon tea aswell as private functions! As you can tell I’m a huge fan! Clean and nice friendly staff! I highly highly rate this place! They also open till late so great for pre night out drinks Dogs welcome to! I just love this place ♥️

Well where do I start! 12 of us went the American themed coffee / bar diner last night to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday.I had called down earlier with a cake, candles banner etc. Nothing was too much trouble for Matt and Caitlin behind the bar. They were awesome, truly awesome. Matt did a fantastic job with the cake presentation, taking his role very seriously! Caitlin used her skills on the playlists for us, including the unbelievable juke box. So quirky ! I cannot thank them both and Dino and Maria enough. This place is so out there, so different, so diverse, it is infectious. Fantastic selection of beers and lagers and scrumpy cocktails. Check out the decor, you will spend a good time staring at Marily Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. Make sure you try ‘Twist and Shout’ and ‘Porn Star! Wow, wow, wow.... Discovered this place by chance and took my children for milkshakes Best milkshake ever. Great,friendly staff who treated my daughter to a go on the jukebox, much to her delight. Fantastic decor (American diner) Will be returning soon

Love to grab a coffee here 1st thing in the morning. Staff are welcoming and the cakes look delightful. Would love to try the Portland I see they have on draft. The lady Maria who serves me most mornings is very welcoming and always has a smile. Highly recommended

Good strong flat white coffee. I had the croc monsieur which was made with regular sliced bread rather than baguette but very tasty. The décor is very well done in the American diner style and rock and roll music playing.

Stuck due to no trams, snow, etc and needed a coffee before attempting to go home. Never been here before, it’s always closed at 6:45am but it’s lovely, such a little gem. Forget what’s going on outside; the music, the decor, the service, the coffee; fabulous. Do call in sometime

What Usfour lacks in space is amply made up for in the interesting decor and the very friendly staff. Kids are always welcome here and they have a nice selection of treats for them (and the adults too!).

Visited this weekend and the queue was out the door! Great little place with loads going on! Food looked fab with some amazing cakes and a large selection of Gins. They have film nights too.

I love this place, me and my children visit often. The coffee and hot chocolate is amazing I can never decide! Kids always have a shake - they're AMAZING!

We really like it. Gurls were nice and friendly and our chocolate milkshake was yumm.. its just adjucent to brookland tram station so you can easily stopover on you way and grab and coffee or milkshake takaway...

I always visit here for coffee and drinks with friends and family - the staff are always lovely, the food/drink is amazing and the atmosphere is great. We love spending time here so much that we booked a private function on a Sunday evening, where we had the whole venue to ourselves. The evening was great and enjoyed by all! Definitely recommend this little gem!

This bar/cafe is a little gem. It has bags of character along with a fun factor. Usfour is a family run business, which is always friendly. It is suitable for all age groups. We love popping in for a coffee or a drink in the evening. It is a unique experience.

Great little bar in the old station building. Themed american style and serving coffee, drink, cakes etc. Attract a nice crowd of people and families.

This place is fab to sit and listen to 50s/60s music on the juke box . We visit regularly with friends and family and as a couple they offer a variety of sweets from choc chip cookie to ice cream and brownies the the theme is an American Diner with pictures of all the known icons frank Sinatra Marilyn Monroe Audrey Hepburn etc. You can have a coffee milkshake or beers and spirits plus wine well worth a visit staff are fabulous and it is family run

What a quirky little place. Fab location. Brilliant decor and super clean. Very friendly staff. In my opinion its the BEST hot chocolate in Manchester :-) Serves quite a variety of food and drink.

Stayed in Sale for a few days using the metrolink. found this little gem of a place at top of steps next to platform. Decor excellent, service was superb with really friendly staff, Sam your a star, great music would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area.

This cleverly converted cafe bar is a bit of a hidden gem. 50's style with retro fixtures and fittings, artwork etc and a couple of cosy booths. Friendly helpful staff and lovely milkshakes for the kids. Seating outside and dog friendly for a quick pitstop whilst walking the pooch!

A lovely new addition to Sale! Wishing the owners all the luck in the world. A great idea for a venue and lovely to see this building being used to house a little bar / cafe.

We stopped in for an ice cream after a sunny walk along the canal. The ice cream sundaes were delicious, with friendly service. It’s great to see a local place like this so busy and doing well. Keep it up!

My parents and I enjoyed our afternoon tea from start to finish! The sandwiches and cakes were delicious, we had to bring some home, and the staff were just so wonderful and friendly. We will certainly revisit and I recommend this little gem to anybody who wants a sweet fun friendly eating / drinking experience!

Lovely family owned business, nice atmosphere. Great coffee and milkshakes, would be perfect if cakes were homemade.

Nice addition to the eateries in and around the Sale area, and an option for all meals. We were pleased to see that Us Four is open early - we look forward to returning to try their breakfasts. In fact whatever time of day you want a meal, coffee or snack, they will be open. This makes for a good destination for a coffee later in the day when many other cafes have closed, and they still have quite a few cabinet items to choose from at that time. The American diner theme may or may not appeal to you, but the service is efficient and helpful and the location ideal for people to get there by tram, by foot or bike along the canal, or by car.

I call in when on my canal walks, great flat white coffe and great lemon drizzle. Staff always friendly and the place is always spotless.

Came across this lovely coffee shop/bar while on recent visit to Manchester. Loved the decor, music and atmosphere, the ever so helpful staff and fantastic coffee made exactly how I wanted it. No request is too much trouble and all staff are friendly, smiley and happy to be there. I would definitely recommend this place!!!

We’ve had four visits here (with husband and friends and kids) and had a lovely time each visit. The kids say the chocolate bar milkshakes are delicious and we think the alcoholic milkshakes are pretty good too. It’s a lovely clean comfy happy place, good service , and open till late, great for a nightcap if you’re just returning from a night out having gotten off the tram.Food not fussy just all the kinds of things you would expect from a cafe/bar that’s on its way up, I’m hoping for some more food alternatives in the near future. Which I know the owners are looking at doing soon. Nothing is too much trouble, the Decor is U S A diner style and the music great. If you don’t like what’s in the jukebox they can put different tunes on. Keep going guys and we wish you all the best for a successful business.

Really enjoyed our visit to US Four on Brooklands Bridge on Friday evening. The owners have created a unique American diner with an abundance of authentic memorabilia creating a great atmosphere in what was the original booking office. Especially enjoyed the jukebox and excellent cocktails. We will certainly return!

A quick visit with my 9 year old on the Saturday after Christmas.

Huge surprise when we walked through the door, just like an authentic US diner, with music to match! A great use of a small space, plenty of seating and a great atmosphere when it’s gets busy.

Went with a friends to an evening there finger food and drink. It has a lovely atmosphere it's like an American Diner including a juke box. The staff are friendly it's lovely. I could have stayed the full evening but we were going on to a house party.

Addicted to this place and the hot chocolates already! Staff are friendly, place impeccable clean! Overall a great American themed experience! Get yourself down u won’t be diassappointed! Situated at the top of brooklands metrolink x
