Lovely little cafe. Nice decor. Good service. Enjoyed my chai latte, milkshake (crunchie) and latte. Shame don't live closer as would become a regular. Will make a point of coming back. Is like an American diner. Excellent experience.

Had a jacket potato with cheese and beans, it arrived quickly and it was delicious. There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere here where you feel as if you want to stay for hours

Went for the first time on Thursday night and was pleasantly surprised to discover such a unique establishment on my daily commute. The look and feel is so fun and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. I’ll definitely be back and bring friends along next time to try some of their cocktails. Thanks for being great

They advertised saying award winning ice creams. Charged 4.40 for each small scoop. No tasters. Out of two ice creams we brought, had to throw one in bin.

Always great service and a staple now of Sale. Cafe, bar, coffee, wine cocktails and so much more. Small.but good food offerings. Give it a go with outside seating in the sun is amazing. Added a new cocktail menu recently also.

Belated birthday afternoon tea with my daughter. Delightful American style diner, lots or 50/60s memorabilia to enjoy. Afternoon tea was delicious and extremely filling. Better still were the cocktails, reasonably priced too. The 2 young lady staff were very friendly and attentive.

Visited for the first time today they serve very good coffee and the food was 1st class. The staff were very welcoming and I will be going back again in the evening to try their beers and cocktails.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. When I want to treat myself to something nice and yummy I always go there. Their selection of winter drinks is impressive. On top of that the design is great.

Great little cafe/bar caters for every one. The young girls that were serving were friendly and very efficient, so nice to see staff that seem to enjoy thier jobs.

A lovely trip here for afternoon tea for my birthday. Maria is so lovely and couldn't so enough for us. Michaela was fantastic too and was constantly asking us if we needed anything. Services was fabulous. Food delicious and worth the money we had to take some home there was that much. Highly reccommend.

Amazing cafe. We came today (18th Jan 2024) for my sisters birthday. We had an afternoon tea, which was delicious. It came with 2 hot drinks which was a lovely bonus. We had a lovely morning.

Nice cafe but TV on far too loud

Good service but the bottled water needs to be well within its best/use by date - couldn't return as was on the move realising later as it tasted funny, shouldn't need to check this myself.

Food brilliant staff friendly fantastic atmosphere

After stepping into this wonderful American cafe ALL my worries dissipated into nothing. Following a long shift I craved brilliant music, wonderful service and a delicious beverage of the alcoholic variety. That is exactly what I got. The staff are especially friendly and considering- not very common nowadays!! BRING ON THE PINTS!! Also a lovely waffle machine :)

My my, even old fogeys like us can get a surprise. We were grandkid led to this ‘diner’ place on a bridge with nowhere to park nearby. ‘You mean cafe don’t you son….no granddad it’s an American diner. Is it son, oh dear. Ah well if that’s your choice.’ So three grandkids led two enthusiastic grandparents in the door of what had to be a former railway station or railway signal box and I thought here we go more rubbish food. I was wrong yet again, it was really very good food indeed. The diner has lots of Elvis and James Dean paraphernalia decorating the inside. The kids had food we wouldn’t eat - each had a hot dog (sausage) but before the arrival of the hot dogs it was milkshakes - two had Oreo & chocolate style and one had a honeycomb based one. So once the three junior Amigos consumed their milk shakes (each topped with scrummy Chantilly cream) and their hot dogs, with a gallon of tomato sauce added, their brief attention spans turned to study bubble waffle desserts. It got complicated at this point with each wanting various chocolate, peanut butter, banana, biscuit, cream and other add ons to the basic waffles, so all I did was pay up and smile. As their 3 courses were coming to an end they decided they needed drinks so each picked something from the fridge with all three taking something different. Us adults settled on a flat white and a cappuccino with me opting for a bacon and maple syrup bubble waffle (yes I checked first and it was real maple syrup) and my wife settled on a generously filled tasty chicken tikka panini. We both agreed that our food and coffees were delicious. The bubble waffle I had was really tasty and generously topped with bacon & maple syrup. I’d have another one right now. All in all about £75, the service was ace friendly and five well stuffed, satisfied happy customers left smiling.

Poor experience unfortunately opted for 2 regular milkshakes to take away for £9.80 (£4.90 each) but was informed that it was £10.20 (£5.10 each).. 20p extra for cream but not listed on menu. service was dismissive when I mentioned too what a shame as milkshakes were good.

One of the best cafes where I feel happy to take my dog. Staff always happy and even when busy they are always smiling. Visited today and tried a jacket potato, one of the fluffiest I have ever had. Coffee great as always. We will be back soon.🌝

Great coffee! Fab service and decor. Jacket spud was what it said - tuna mayo, no frills (not even butter) so a tad disappointed with that. LO goes with his Nana all the time for pancakes, no complaints there!

This is my go-to place with my Grandchildren, they all love the milkshakes, so every school holidays this is where we end up. Maria and the staff are welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Love coming here

Visited this great little coffee house today and can’t wait to return! The service was quick and the staff so pleasant and accommodating. My coffee was exactly the right strength and my partner had a gorgeous pot of tea. We shared the most amazing huge slice of cake too. All fresh and beautifully presented. The decor is quirky and fun, everywhere was spotlessly clean. So impressed, we got a takeaway Oreo milkshake for my grandson and I’m taking my mum next week for their fabulous afternoon tea. We are definitely going to become regulars!! Give it a try - you’ll love it!!

We came here at the weekend and fell in love with this hidden gem! We ordered a panini and iced coffee each followed by a fresh waffle! Speedy service and our dog was even served a puppachino on the house! Thanks Us Four! X

Brilliant service on marathon day

Fantastic place to eat and drink, great range of beers, friendly relaxed atmosphere, nothing is too much trouble and the staff go above and beyond. Special mention for Michaela who went out of her way for us on our last visit. Really missed you all during the pandemic.

Called in for coffee as we were watching the marathon. The service is slow and the staff were rude to me and my partner calling her a weirdo when we politely asked where was our coffee? Her Americano tasted like dish water and had to be thrown away. Give this place a swerve!

First visit today we had toasties but they weren’t hot or cooked enough and both the latte coffees were Luke warm! Not cheap either so not good! We realised once we got the food and drinks back to the car..! Definitely room for improvement with all the competition around…… Just an honest review.

Visited here a couple of times before and have ordered a takeaway Afternoon Tea (which was lush). But on Sat we had been to Media City and just got off the tram on a hot, muggy day. The icecream van at Media City had gone = sad kids! We were about to walk home via the canal when we saw the Mr Whippy sign in Us Four. So we walked in & the kids were overjoyed at not only the Mr Whippy icecream (the best they said) but the selection of cones & toppings!!!! So happy children! And when you have happy children you always get happy parents so we decided to have a chill & a lovely beer too. I can't thank tne two staff enough (Connor & Michaela). You were both totally engaging to our children. You went anove & beyond! You put on whatever music we wanted, so we ended up having our own little family disco. We enjoyed it so much we stayed for another drink & the kids had another dessert! It was honestly the perfect end to a fantastic day out. To the owners........ I honestly can't thank Connor & Micheala enough for the hospitality, engaging with our children and just being really nice people to get to know. The vibe was spot on, the beers were ice cold, the kids loved their desserts and the music was just great! Plus the decor is v cool & totally up our street!!! Thankyou UsFour!

Such a wide choice of drinks and food, including vegan options, and staff are lovely. Never disappoints.

This place is always so busy, me and my partner were very excited to try it out. I ordered a Caribbean Breeze and my partner ordered a watermelon ice tea. Two very young people served and made our order. Terrible. I literally wouldn't have paid 50p for either. However we forked out £4 each, £8 in total. The watermelon iced tea didn't even taste of watermelon it was so watered down. The drink itself looked like apple juice from a carton in a simple plain plastic cup with a plastic lid. I have no idea why I was charged £4 for it. Horrid. And the Caribbean breeze was a very very slight improvement. Couldn't taste the coconut at all. Overall I was very disappointed. Two very simple orders and they were so bad.

I actually really like the shop & staff, genuinely friendly and often good with service. My only thing would be the coffee is not the best in the area, granted they’re probably not setup as a barista style shop and that’s fine. Lovely little spot to grab a quick drink and chill.

Us Four is a family favorite of ours and has been since it opened. We love coming on a Sunday for milkshakes (and maybe a sneaky pint of cruz).We've visited the window during lockdown for takeaway drinks and thought we would treat ourselves for Valentines to an afternoon tea. We were not disappointed...loads of fully loaded sandwiches with delicious fillings, not just your standard ham or egg mayo, a bit more adventurous and absolutely delicious. The cakes and the scone were so fresh, the lemon cake was melt in the mouth. All washed down with two thick and creamy shakes.We were absolutely stuffed and had to save some of the cakes for the next day.Great service as well, helped down to the car with my box and drinks!If you have not been here it is a MUST for families and its great to sit outside in summer with a pint....or coffee, whatever takes your fancy.

Prior to COVID we have had drinks here as it is a bar as well as serving food, coffee, soft drinks and delicious milkshakes. There is a really nice friendly atmosphere. So please ensure you sit in when we are all able to again. We ordered a Valentine's afternoon tea for two and collected it on Sunday morning. It was ready to collect on time and was perfect in every way. A great family business that all locals should support. We will be ordering a Mothers Day afternoon tea takeaway for sure. We had a delicious vegetarian platter.

Definitely recommend, I have been coming since it opened there is so much to choose from. Amazing location too if your looking for a stop on your walk.

We have just had a Valentines afternoon tea which has been organised for a few weeks we have had constant updates with the progress of what we could have included in the afternoon tea. Absolutely fantastic service & friendly staff. It is fantastic of places to go even under the current challenging circumstances. I ordered a couple of weeks ago & was updated several times about what they were offering. Pre ordered and pre paid & collected on the day. It was presented beautifully and the contents of various sandwiches, wraps, cakes, scones and drinks were of an excellent quality. Will definitely use this service again. Amazing little cafe - We had the afternoon tea last weekend which was lovely. The cakes were Devine & great range of sandwiches included. To top this off I had a lotus biscoff milkshake which was thick and delicious. Couldn’t recommend more!

We have stayed here on many occasions and what a wonderful place this is. The cakes the Paninis and Hot Dogs all first class and freshly made.Before Lockdown we used to stop off with our dog and enjoyed a pint and gin and tonic in a unique setting. Finally for my wifes retirement in January we ordered a excellent takeaway Afternoon Tea for two which was of a stunning quality.Just try you will not be disappointed !

We ordered an afternoon tea takeaway for my mums birthday today and safe to say we were not disappointed!! Fabulous service from start to finish! I have two little boys and they even put a special box together just for them which they loved.. the sandwiches and cakes (which there was lots of and lots of choice) were fresh and delicious.. my mum even said it was better than afternoon tea at the midland!! Would definitely recommend!!

lovely choice of everything under these current restrictions Corona. There is a huge hot drink menu and milkshake + smoothie menu. I loved going here for pints and alcohol in my hot chocolates before Corona. When life is more normal - we can't wait for that trip inside again. Kids love it too, the cakes are amazing. Staff always go that extra mile and save us a table when needed. It's currently serving out the window and seems to do well too

Great spot for your lockdown walk as situated just off the canal! Fantastic takeaway menu with an incredible choice of flavoured coffees, hot chocolates, milk shakes, alcoholic drinks as well as the usuals and a choice of snacks. There's a reason there is always a long queue! Looking forward to it being open for eating in again after COVID!

We have visited many times and really love this place however sadly we will not be back until restrictions are lifted and we can visit safely The queue today for takeaway felt very unsafe and certainly there was no social distancing not the proprietors fault but there’s to control It’s all part of the business
