Excellent place to eat, staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and although food portions were a little small it was good quality and me and my family enjoyed the visit

*updated review* Enjoyed a little breakfast with my son on his birthday recently. Still very quaint and pretty in aesthetics and decor. Bathroom is spotless. Service is good, attentive but not in your face. Breakfast was lovely. Eggs benedict was cooked perfectly. I've added some new photos also. Tea has improved also. A real lovely brew. I especially love the teapot and cup collaboration. Updated my review to 5 star. Very cute, quaint little cafe, glad we made the effort to go here for breakfast this week. The lady that served us was lovely, smiley and friendly and attentive. Food was great quality, especially the bacon, not sure it was real butter on toast which was little bit disappointing. Dropped a star from my review as cutlery was not spotless and needed a wipe over with napkin before using. And the tea was not the greatest quality, even after brewing it lacked depth, colour and taste, and was not the best. However I would certainly return and amend my review if i found these aspects to have improved.

Great traditional English breakfast

My 1 star Is due to the cost £6.30 for a bacon sausage egg mushroom barm hardly any mushrooms barm was very small aswell as toasted! Alot of pther cafes in the area charge alot less maybe its because of the eat dine in experience but as a builder on the go maybe have take away prices as £6.30 is far too expensive for what I got

Family-run, the food is of high quality and delicious. I have eaten here several times and it maintains the standard. Recommended.

Excellent quality food and staff very friendly and helpful. The food locally sourced and the meat is from the local butcher, Taylor’s of sale . Very yummy and will be going again soon .

A cozy café with very good ambience. We tried both, the small and the full English breakfast. The difference between the two was an extra sausage, bacon and toast. Sharing the images of both. The breakfast was tasty and freshly made. The staff were friendly, however couldn't interact much as they were busy. Overall good experience

Instead of ham and cheese sandwich we got a cheese one. Instead of a chocolate macaron we got a coffee one.

Very expensive for very average hot chocolate £4.60 for a large, but was a regular size cup. It's 80 p for cream and 80 p for marshmallows Would not recommend going here as very expensive and avarage drink

Lovely place only issue is its too popular. Sometimes you have to make reservations to be able to get a table!

This amazing cafe in Sale Moor is such an exquisite delight. Right from the moment you enter you feel at home and relaxed . The food is always freshly prepared and cooked with love and care, it arrives beautifully presented and not just thrown on the plate. All the staff are the most welcoming and friendly people you could wish to meet. Whatever you choose from the menu you will not be disappointed and will return over and over. The cafe has a very distinct old English feel with wonderful China tea service that is reminiscent of quaint Yorkshire village cafes . This is a must visit cafe that will definitely not disappoint.

We visited again today for a wonderful breakfast. We forgot how good the food is here. The service is fantastic and always served with a smile. Breakfasts also include a slimming world friendly one which always goes down well and tasted delicious.

Beautiful fresh food. Lovely service. Very popular in the area. I had a roasted vegetable panini. Delicious. Don’t know why it’s says it is closed because it is very much open. This will become a regular place now.

Lovely friendly cafe with good menu selection particularly given it is fairly small. There was a steady stream of customers throughout our visit so popular with the locals. My three friends & I had a lovely light lunch followed by delicious warm scones with the obligatory clotted cream & jam! Staff were very friendly & we will definitely be paying them another visit very soon.

Had the full English with the Mrs. Really quick polite service. Extremley clean inside and out. Food fantastic. Great sausages and bacon, perfect fried egg, great mushrooms. Toast etc the full monty. Have tried Full English all over the UK, this place is in the top 5 IMO. Outstanding.

Everything about this place is great. Food is brilliant and service with a smile. You cannot find better if your after a cafe on your own or with friends - and i've tried everywhere. Nothing bad to say.

A very good find for lunch, was looking for somewhere not too far from Wythenshaw Hospital, this was a 10minute drive away & what a find. The staff were most welcoming, service was first class, we went for the breakfast which is served all day. My wife went for the Slimmers World breakfast, the food was very fresh & very well presented. We will certainly be back.

Bobbed in here again, love this place ! My friend and I wanted scones and jam and clotted cream but spoilt by the menu, especially the Specials, I had the best Chicken Curry and Rice Sale has to offer! My friend had the small english breakfast, I did manage a scone afterwards. Lovely place to eat Cafe Rose, limited parking at rear of premises, but big pay and display car park opposite. If you have never been, you are truly missing out. Such lovely staff and produce, nice atmosphere, all welcome.

Really good breakfasts, lovely service - really can’t fault it really! My only recommendation would be to add a veggie sausage to the veggie breakfast.

Today we visited Cafe Rose for breakfast/brunch. We had a full breakfast and an eggs florentine. Both were outstanding! Freshly cooked and excellent quality. Mushrooms not greasy with great little touches of herbs! A pleasure to eat. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be visiting again soon. Thanks

My friend and I visited yesterday for the light Cafe Rose Breakfast. It was fantastic. Lovely produce, beautifully cooked and presented. Inexpensive, and always always a fab cup of tea in the lovely china cups. Always a pleasure to go to Cafe Rose. I recommend it highly, Their scones, clotted cream and jam, cannot be beaten !!

We went here for breakfast and loved the food good quality ingredients and especially liked the china cups. Have already recommended to lots of friends.

Been a couple of times now for lunch, lovely selection of food, always very tasty. Plan to try the breakfast next time I go! Only criticism would be, I had a scone with cream and jam on my last visit, and was surprised that the scone was served toasted(?!?!). I think in the future this is something you should give your customers a choice of, as it’s a very unusual way to serve a scone and would not have been my preference.

Visited today with two international friends for afternoon tea. I had called ahead to reserve this. When we arrived the table was set beautifully with vintage tea service and pretty napkins. The three tiered cake stand soon arrived with a very generous offering of 3 different sandwiches, freshly made on white and brown bread with ham and mustard filling, egg and smoked salmon and cream cheese. All delicious. From there up to the next level of the stand with excellent currant and cherry scones served with clotted cream and jam and finally on top little macarons and iced fancies. We had all of this with a mix of English Breakfast and Earl Grey teas. We were made to feel extremely welcome in this cafe by the owner and waitress. One of my friends had two young children who happily played with all the toys and books thoughtfully provided for them.This is a small, cosy local cafe which deserves to be supported. I know that it is thriving and I would encourage you to visit and to take guests there who are visiting Manchester and the suburbs to check out an excellent traditional English Afternoon Tea! thanks.

A rainy day & so we decided to check out this cafe as it was much closer to home than the town option we had planned. Such a good decision - really delicious breakfasts, nice quality meat products for those that had them and a great veggie breakfast too. Def will be back, ideally when not nursing a hangover from hell lol

Spotted this lovely little cafe when we were looking for somewhere for breakfast and boy am I glad i spotted it.

Recently went here for some breakfast as live close by. Have been before under different ownership and the place is much improved.

My daughter and I have visited 3 times and it just gets better. We have been for lunch and have tried the breakfast, omelette, Bagels with bacon and avocado and the toasties all have been just perfect. The deco is of an old English tea room with all the lovely little touches including china tea cups of course. A lovely find may it long continue a huge plus for Sale Moor.

Met friends here for a small celebration. Lovely surroundings, friendly welcome and delicious afternoon tea. The sandwiches were fresh and tasty, the home made scones were delicious and the cakes a perfect end to the meal. The food was attractively and appetisingly presented and we will certainly be back to enjoy this special treat again.

What a change from the big coffee chains! This is a lovely tea room in Sale Moor serving breakfast and lunches at very good prices. Met a friend there for coffee last week and we decided to go for lunch today; the waitress acknowledged our arrival and made us welcome. Our food was hot with well filled sandwiches and they make a good pot of tea with china cups. It's going to be our regular meet-up place.

Gorgeous home made food with pleasant staff. Lovely china cups, tea pots and furniture give this place a vintage vibe. Great area for children to sit and play/read. Would highly recommend

Visited with my partner and we both had the Full English! Was fantastic value for money and the tea/coffee was great too!

The interior is cute and nice that the tables are not too close together although the chairs need cushions on as are not very comfortable. The staff were friendly and the food and drinks arrived promptly. Good that the music is quiet and the toilet is spacious and clean with a baby change unit (but a shelf above the change table would be useful)

I took my nana, the waitress knew her order and was so kind. She felt very special. The background music is chilled and there is a lovely hum of noise.

Have visited this fantastic cafe a couple of times before today but never tried the breakfast due to time, today we had time and we were really pleased that we did!

I visited the cafe for the first time today and was delighted with my experience. The cafe is pretty, the service was top notch and the food was lovely too. I had omlette which was cooked well and an apple pie which I'd have eaten again had I had room. My tea also came in a beautiful teapot and very promptly. I highly recommend this cafe.

Thoroughly enjoyed a nice leisurely meal here with my boys. Everything was fresh and delicious. Glad we found this little gem. We'll be back!

Visited the cafe on Saturday with my husband and mother in law - it was our first time since recently moving to the area. We didn't know what to expect, but as it's just around the corner from us we hoped it would be good. It didn't disappoint. All the food was made to a really decent standard - with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. I had the special of the day - goulash- and it was delicious! To top it off - service was really good too - we were even given complementary honey cake as one of our meals took slightly longer to arrive than the others. All in all a little treasure and we'll definitely be returning!

I found the cafe on the internet and decided to book afternoon tea there as the photographs looked nice and there aren't many places locally that do afternoon tea.

Came over from Yorkshire today to take a relation from Sale Moor out for a breakfast. Cant praise this lovely cafe enough. The breakfasts were great and they even catered for my daughter who can only eat gluten free. Lovely friendly environment, clean and well presented. So glad there is something like this for us to visit when we're over. The rest of the menu looked lovely too. Very good prices! We will be back!

A small café, very cosy and welcoming café. Situated on Northenden Road in Sale Moor, Sale Cheshire. Runs by a husband and wife, the quirky café frequently by the locals. A gem hidden in Sale Moor. I had a gorgeous homemade Broccoli and stilton Soup as my starter, then Spaghetti Bolognese just heavenly. They also sell cakes and deserts. And they are all homemade. Yummylicious.

Beautiful, classy, homely, stylish, welcoming. Amazing tea with a vintage China cup. Gorgeous cakes (the honey cake is incredible), lovely little kids area. I can't fault this place it's a delight. So much effort and thought has gone into the style of the place and the food/drinks match beautifully.

We love to come here with the family, the breakfasts are sumptuous, the welcome is warm and the homemade cakes are to die for. They will even do cream teas if you ask! We would recommend it to anybody.

At last Sale Moor has a cafe that ticks all the boxes! Met my parents and father in law for lunch today. We were greeted with a smile and fresh coffee,was served quickly and efficiently. We were informed of the varieties of homemade soups available and given menus to look at. We sat at a spacious circular table but there were comfy armchairs as well to relax in. My mum had the leek and potato soup which she declared was delicious. I opted for the club panini which had plenty of chicken, bacon, cheese and tomato as well as a side salad and was excellent. We were offered samples of the fabulous homebaking on offer and having tasted how light and fresh the cakes were we couldn;t resist ordering some with another coffee.
