Really enjoyed the vibe just was looking for a chill place to rest after the gym and get an afternoon pick me up. Staff was really friendly - looking forward to trying the location in Ancoats!

The coffee is OK. No GF food. No attention to what they serve. My wife ordered a simple toasted tea cake. She got a pale tea cake that had been dried out in the oven. It was hard like a babies rusk. Trash!!

Tea and cake what a way to spend time with a friend. I love the old tea pot service, which means you get a few brews for your money. The cake was ok as well. Very laid-back and well presented. Very homely 27/07/24

I was lucky enough to be a winner of a voucher in celebrating gran ts birthday so made a trip to Manchester with my mum and pup for lunch out After seeing it online and hearing good reviews it lived up to the hype , quirky and cosy exactly how it portrays like being at your granny’s On arrival welcomed and sat at the back got the dog some water and he appreciated the treats , love how they’re dog friendly and gem in the shopping centre for somewhere to stop They offer a variety of sandwiches and typical things you’d expect from a coffee shop plus extensive drinks menu and array of cakes I was torn between two so got both the tofu wrap and beetroot blt to half and half , great how they cater for vegans too however would note I think they were microwaved and unfortunately soggy for drinks I tried Moringa tea and even had my own teapot and soya milk plus a cherry & lime smoothie that was super refreshing and loved the cherry sweet on the side My mum opted for the bbq toastie which she enjoyed however would of preferred more toasted as was only done on one side along with a raspberry lemonade Plus couldn’t not get the pup his first ever pup puppuccino which was so cute We also shared the chocolate orange brownie and carrot cake ( plus the lemon cake to take away) one thing I’d say I wish they were ‘home’ made opposed to brought in as the quality suffers and substandard seen as it’s more their specialty The brownie was more cakey and crumbley and the carrot cake lacked cinnamon and moistness so one area that could be improved but value for money can’t fault A few areas that could be seen to in terms of food but the decor and setting is ideal

What a lovely place this coffee shop is! Have visited a handful Of times the food is amazing and the variety of options for dairy free is unreal. Each time I have gone in the staff have remembered me but one member of staff really has gone above and beyond I think his name was Mason. He couldn’t do enough going through everything I could have. Not many independent coffee shops or chain ones have such a selection as this one. Thank You for considering people with intolerances/allergies and Thank you Mason for your time and service you are a credit to you boss!

Lovely shake and coffee but the Victoria sponge cake was a bit dry. Good to try though. Might try their other cakes/pastry next time.

Currently sitting outside Gran T's having breakfast and a coffee. I called in for the first time yesterday for a takeaway coffee and decided to call back in today. The coffee is lovely, as is the ham and cheese croissant, but the thing that sets this place apart from the rest is the welcome. They remembered me from yesterday despite having served numerous customers in that time. Next time I'm in Manchester, I will be back. Thank you!

Sorry but give this place a wide berth staff very rude

This is my second time visiting and its a lovely cafe with very friendly and welcoming staff. I am dairy free and both times I have come, they have adapted their drinks to dairy free and they are still just as good. I had a mint chocolate chip milkshake with vegan whipped cream for under £5, most places charge a lot more for vegan drinks. It has a great atmosphere and a lovely place to visit solo and read a book or come with friends. I'd highly recommend :)

Great place. Go once a week i would say. Although there is a selection of hot food it is limited. A great selection of cakes and cookies. Great for a quick Pit stop.

I absolutely love it at Gran T’s Coffee House. I’ve gotten a few Too Good To Go bags from here and was always impressed with the food. Their vegan pistachio and carrot cake was my favourite, so today I decided to visit the coffee house and eat/drink in for once. I ordered a coffee and a cake. The decor and atmosphere is extremely cozy and homely. There’s lots of sofas and plush, comfy armchairs to sit on. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way. The coffee was really nice and I love how there’s a separate dog menu. I’ll definitely be returning here and it was good to see how bustling it was inside.

Absolutely incredible place. I came here second time now. Decor is stunning. Food is delicious. I am so happy to have this place in my neighbourhood. I am looking forward for my lunch now!!

Brilliant place very comfy and relaxed just like being in grandma home. Food Amazing had the pistachio cake my son had yummy crisps and yummy chocolate milkshake. Would reccomend anyone to go..hoping to experience sitting in middle as it was very busy.

Gran T's is a bustling coffee house with cosy, decor, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The array of milk shakes, cakes and pastries is unbelievably tempting and delicious but definitely unsuitable for anyone trying to count calories! A trip there when I'm visiting the area is always a highlight.

Our go to place in Altrincham for a drink and a sweet treat. The mango smoothie is the stuff of dreams. Staff are always brilliant and attentive.

Great cafe even for us Aussies who are picky about their coffee. Great atmosphere and lovely people, wonderful service. Coffee is a fabulously large size too. Dogs are allowed in the cafe which was brilliant.

Not often in Altrincham, my home town and came across this lovely cafe. Really good coffee, recommend without hesitation. The cafe also very inviting but did not have time to drink in.

Amazing service from such friendly staff. We had tea and cake. Winter tea was like Christmas in a cup and a generous sized pot. The cake was delicious. Environment is warm and cosy with great spacing so you can eat, drink and chat in comfort. Wanted to purchase the tea to take home, they currently don’t sell it but made us some take home bags and boxed in fun personalised boxes as a surprise. Wow, never had such wonderful service. Whenever I’m in Altrincham I will most definitely visit.

I am reluctant to write this review as I do not want this amazing place to become too busy. The food, drinks and service is impeccable. The atmosphere always makes me smile. Coffee is alright but the atmosphere is busy lively and you can tell a lot of locals like it, I'm sure the food is lovely but the coffee could be stronger and have better beans

Lovely atmosphere and environment. I love supporting local business. The coffee is lovely but the food is a bit more expensive and on the suboptimal side of things but definitely better than at one of the coffee chains.

It was my first time in today and I'll definitely be back. Service was good, latte was good, ambiance was good, slice of cake was ok. Next visit could we'll get an upgrade to the fifth star.

An amazing place to relax. As soon as I entered I was greeted by the friendly staff who instantly made me feel welcomed. There are plenty of comfy seats/ sofas to choose from. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and they offer loyalty stamp cards (10th cup for free). Highly recommend.

I've been calling it "Grant's" for a week, how embarrassing. Nice coffee house though - clean, nice decor, good coffee. My wife was very impressed with the sand timer for assisting with steeping her tea.

Inside the cafe looks lovely, such a nice atmosphere I really love coming here and the staff are always friendly. The drinks never disappoint me and are always great.

We finally visited Gran Ts coffee house for the first time this morning and loved it. Our coffees tasted great and the girls at the bar were very friendly. The staff looked like they were having a good time and enjoying their work which you don't seem to get with a lot of coffee shops or restaurants nowadays. The place is also quite funky and unique looking inside with lots of seating choices. Will definitely be returning whenever we're in ALtrincham

Lovely down to earth friendly service

Attended Movie Night on the 18th December to watch The Holiday. Wonderful, chilled environment , great hot chocolate and wonderful hosts. Looking forward to another movie night in the future.

Have gone there when in Altrincham and will return there when next in the area as s great independent place for a daily cuppa, now got a good online store of related stuff and look forward to going there on any next trip they is made, great set if staff there and great set of food and drinks when there also.

I have only visited once to pick up leftover food with toogoodtogo, but I did pick up a (decaf) latte also, and it's one of the nicest coffees I've had! Not bitter at all, I didn't add any sugar and it didn't taste sweet as if they'd added any either. The decor of the place looked beautiful, and my mum and I (who I shared the food with) really enjoyed the food I picked up! I definitely need to visit more often!

A little disappointed to see that the scones aren’t freshly baked in store. They arrive individually packed in plastic which the staff open and put on display. Still, a nice place for a coffee and a cake if in the area.

Had the lemon, ginger and honey presse - as not a coffee drinker - would recommend it totally. Ada our very nervous hound was made welcome and we settled down to a lovely drink in lovely surroundings. Bliss. Sloh, and the staff are ace. Will deffinately coming again - when I get chance!

A really nice place to sit down with a cup of coffee. They have a wide selection of drinks and desserts, and also ice cream and frozen yogurt! I tried the chocolate ice cream with salted caramel sauce and the double machiato, and it was all lovely. The decor is beautiful with nice homely touches. I'd love to come again.
