Great coffee, great staff, great vibes

First time visit. Very relaxing!

Due to it being closer to my house, I usually go to Gran Ts, but visited two brothers last weekend and was really impressed by the quality of the coffee. Staff were very friendly and helpful, plenty of seating, big as cramped as some of the chain coffee shops in Altrincham. Will definitely visit again.

I've only popped in twice with a friend for a take away coffee on the way to work. I now can't come to the Altrincham office without having a 2 Brothers coffee- delicious!

Two brothers went to Two Brothers for lunch, the two brothers were very happy with their lunch from Two Brothers. The two brothers also enjoyed their Two Brothers hot drinks. (I imagine that will trigger an algorithm for a fake review, but it's very much a true story). Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, nice food, great hot drinks, reasonable priced.

Great coffee, friendly staff, relatively quiet (not loud music and people working, although often busy) and lots of power points for your laptop. Food choice a bit limited but what they do is very nice.

I visited on two separate days and both times the service and quality were fantastic. The coffee is the right side on strength and its a great relaxing place to catch your thoughts. The staff are fantastic and as I found a seat they kindly bought my drink to my table. I was visiting for the weekend and to find this gem first time was a bonus

Especially good for the bacon sandwich/coffee breakfast deal - very limited choice but really well-made, tasty food and excellent coffee in a nice little cafe. I'd like a choice of espresso in the milk drinks (there is a big choice of filter/pour over) but the house coffee is delicious. Personally I also found the comfy chairs padded seating could do with some updating but the decor is otherwise great. Staff always helpful and pleasant.

Had a wait for my tram so decided to get myself a coffee, found this little gem. As I walked in I was cheerily greeted by the barista and nice relaxing music playing in the background. Got my usual flat white and a pain au Chocolat. There is a nice atmosphere and the coffee was superb, so good infact I ordered another one. I shall be returning here very soon, well done two brothers!

The coffee served here is perfection, and nice selection of sweet treats to compliment. Appreciated the more trance style of music being played which set it apart from the usual indie stuff played at other coffee houses I visit. A very relaxed atmosphere. The savoury options were pre-made sandwiches. 2 Brothers seem to focus more on beverages than trying to do everything, which isn't a bad thing - what they do they do very well. First time visit this weekend and looking forward to coming back.

Exceptional coffee and a really lovely atmosphere. As always I ordered an oat flat white: my litmus test of prepared foamed coffee(!). The quality was really nice, the staff were super chill but quietly approachable and the decor of the cafe is really next level. You can definitely tell it’s had the engineer’s touch (in a good way!) and a really cool USP on the Altrincham High Street. Would have been good to field a few more food options but otherwise: great!!

A great place for delicious pour-over coffee, amazing lattes, and yummy treats(many of which are vegan). We have been coming here for several years, every time we visit family in the area. We try stop here for coffee every morning of our trips to Altrincham. We have not once been disappointed.

My first visit here and I wasn’t disappointed. A delicious cappuccino, made to my liking, along with a pastry was just what was needed after a shopping trip. Lovely contemporary surroundings and great service. Will definitely be back.

Altrincham is famous for junk shops , closed shops and coffee shops and if you want to cuppa Joe this is the one and only choice. Louis Alex and Jen knock out one he'll of a cup offer great beans and awesome service , and please visit the toilet probably the best loo in the North West. Gonna miss this place when we go home.. strongly reccomend 😀

First time visiting the Altrincham coffee shop yesterday morning. I was served a wonderful treacle flavoured black americano. Unfortunately the visit was spoilt by the very poor customer service. The female barista was so miserable and having spilt the coffee when she delivered it to the table, she showed no willingness to wipe it up. Staff should take a lesson in customer service from the competition further down the street!

Popped into 2Brothers yesterday to buy a Pain Au Chocolat (they used to be decent at 2B) and mine was underbaked and raw in the middle. Sad but not a catastrophe. However whilst I was waiting the Barista was setting up a coffee after having ground the beans….. and then gently and lovingly BLEW (as in to blow) off the excess coffee powder. No I know no one remembers COVID any more and that it was a long time ago and all. But that was a special moment even in non COVID times. Sorry chaps but that wasn’t ok. 2Brothers is in truth a quiet but pleasant coffee shop the Cortado is very decent. Was going to put this up yesterday, but it took me a while to digest what I saw.

We stopped in for lunch as a second choice as our first one was closed. It is more of a coffee shop with cakes etc, which sells a few boxed sandwiches. We both had bacon sandwiches with an iced coffee and a passion fruit lemonade. The food is very good quality, with an unusual Bloody Mary ketchup. The cafe was very busy mostly with people working remotely on laptops so there weren’t many tables free. Overall, a nice quiet atmosphere, good quality food and drinks, and efficient service. Not expensive.

Coffee exceptional blows all the chains out the water. You have to try the bacon butty to understand how good it is ! My first choice for coffee in Alty and Hale, cake is also exceptional.

I am really disappointed as my mum and her friend were refused service as they only had cash to make payment. They are elderly and do not carry cards. They even said they would be happy to pay extra and not get any change. I will never be spending my money here again.

Surprisingly empty inside given the reputation, I did expect the selection of cakes to be slightly more than it was. That said, those we had were simply superb - especially my slab off Jaffa Cake which was truly excellent and a must try! The coffee was also very good and the prices, although slightly higher than usual chain prices, were reasonable enough for Altrincham. The inside is a bit dark and tries too hard to be trendy which isn't to everyone's liking, but didn't detract from the food for me. Would certainly go again.

The coffee served at Two Brothers is one of the best in town. Roasted locally in Warrington by Two Brothers themselves, it’s great not only to see the number of their own coffee shops expanding, but it’s also great to see smaller establishments that serve coffee (such as The Hive by VH Interiors - Batch Deli - Northroad Cycles - 3 Hands Deli) using Two Brothers too. I personally prefer the calmer atmosphere of two brothers over other coffee shops which is perfect for meetings or doing some work out of the office.

The best coffee in Altrincham, without a shadow of a doubt. Service always great, staff really great too. You can also buy beans and they can grind them for you in store for your coffee machine at home.

Little gem, excellent coffee and the absolute best carrot cake. A good place to chill and read. Its away from the busy market, so a bit quieter.

Visited today with my wife (and my sons puppy dachshund!). The service was prompt, very friendly and professional. We only had drinks, the fresh orange is the best I have tasted. It was a hot day and the young waitress was keen to ensure our puppy was fine, bringing out a bowl of cold water. I know its only a little thing but it was appreciated and deserves to be noted. We shall certainly call again

Have visited this great little gem in Altrincham a couple of times. Love the atmosphere! The perfect place to work on you laptop or kick back and read a good book over a coffee (which incidentally is some of the finest you'll find in the area!) Two Brothers also serve some excellent light meals! Will definitely call in again on a future visit to Altrincham!

Called in for coffees and cakes on a wet and cold afternoon. The coffees were perfect and the cakes were tasty. Friendly staff and a pleasant environment.

Must have been an off day for this establishment. A warm chocolate drink and an poor bit of rocky road cake. People seem to rave over this place. Seems a bit bare.

The coffee flavours are quite unlike anything else I’ve tasted in Alty. The closest I’ve come to being amazed by coffee this good was an Ethiopian cafe in Brussels, and they knew their coffee! Honestly, even the house blend just blew me away. When I’m feeling like a treat, I buy myself a bag of beans and continue the captivating coffee at home. Just try it!

This is our go to place for all things coffee!! There’s a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the staff are lovely. The brunch menu is delicious, as are the cakes! We’ve tried pretty much all the cafes in Alty now but we always come back here - no other coffee matches it.

Apart from welcoming staff and excellent coffee you are able to sit and wait for coffee to come to you

Hi This is a really smart cafe and looks very much the hip indie coffee store even saying coffee engineers above the door. For me, coffee served too hot and tasted a bit sour. Not bad though.

We come here at least once a week and it never disappoints! The staff are fab, as is the food. Also, definitely the best coffee in Alty!

The cafe has a really nice atmosphere, free wifi and comfy seating and serves fine coffee. In this age of “more of the same’ chains it is really good to see an independent achieving success. I heartily and recommend others supporting it . free whiff and comfy seats

This coffee shop is a lovely space and really cool. I enjoyed the coffee and the staff were really friendly. We also enjoyed a nice brunch. Quite pricey, for the portion size, but very tasty.

This is a great cafe in the heart of Altrincham. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. I had a cappuccino with a Christmas flavouring which was excellent. To eat, I had a bacon roll. Nicely presented and reasonably priced. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

A great place to stop off and relax.....esp if doing your Christmas shopping...loved the mince pie, they offer to warm it up and have with cream

I always like to explore new places, and I seem to have instilled that in my kids! So whilst we love Grandma T's, Sam Joseph at Altrincham Market House, and have recently added Mad Mug to the list, we thought we'd try Two Brothers.

First of all the customer service was shocking to the point of down right rude. Then to top it off the coffee eventually arrived in what I can only describe as glass egg cups and no handles. Normally I would of been worried about burning my fingers but the coffee was so cold I needed not of worried.really disappointed with the comment , don't try to post a comment on their Facebook page either or complain as they just remove it or ignore you.

Called in for the first time and ordered an almond flat white, cappuccino and a brownie. The coffee is incredible - best coffee we’ve had for a long time and the brownie the best we’ve ever tasted! The staff are friendly and it has a really chilled out vibe and it’s somewhere you want to take your time. This place is what Didsbury is missing! Luckily it’s not far to travel in the car - we will be back!

I was early for a hospital appointment and this was the closest coffee place I could find. I was a bit surprised that a black coffee was £2-90 but then this was in Altrincham. I found the coffee pretty average and nothing special. The place was OK but did not stand out as anything special.

I was so pleased to have popped in to 2 Bros. After walking past it on so many occasions.

As always, Two Brothers doesn't fail. Since my last visit there has been a big expansion to the cakes and treats, as well as a weekend brunch menu.

Came across this little gem while in the area on business. From the warm welcome as I walked through the door, the knowledgeable staff who passionately described the array of coffees on offer, the freshly made sandwich made on the spot to accommodate my request, to the beautifully crafted copper accentuated decor and chilled out vibe, what a refreshing change from the humdrum identikit chain stores with monotone "server's" and mass produced mediocrity. McDonald's says that people just want a "coffee", I personally prefer to try out the little guys, the artisans and I would definitely recommend that you try this place and witness the "coffee engineers" in action.

I don't live in Altrincham anymore, but I love visiting here when I see my parents. The coffee is amazing and I love the venue. Altrincham has been in need of an amazing independent coffee shop for quite a while, and Two Brothers definitely fulfils that! I'd definitely recommend it

They have great coffee and an amazing variety of teas. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The shop has a great design and uses the space well.

Used this as start and end of out third Memory Walk. The staff were wonderful and provided coffee and tea to the whole group with very little fuss. Great coffee (even the Mayor of Trafford thought so!)

Recommended to try this as a local independent. Impressive website and initial impression on entering is very good - design, space and facilities. Coffee was disappointing - weak and not enough punch, even though I discussed having the sort of coffee I liked. Never mind!

A great coffee shop serving some of the best coffee and cakes around. Free WiFi and comfy seating is a bonus. Brilliant soundtrack with friendly and well trained staff. Does get quite warm in the summer though! However don’t think the baristas can control the weather.

This place is awesome- just what Altrincham needed. I was born and brought up in Alty but now live in London. I have to say this coffee matches the best in Shoreditch and East London.

What can i say accept every time me & my son Michael go into two brothers coffee for a brew & a cake, well my boys 20 weeks old so no brew & cake for him at the moment, but we leave feeling like kings!! - Quality food, conversation, attention to detail from the bearded boss who i think name is Shaun & his team!!! This is mainly a coffee house with some simple food options A good addition to Altrincham’s growing places to take coffee. The usual varieties are on offer with non diary milk when requested. Main thing is that the coffee is excellent

Came across Two Brothers by accident on our visit to support our two sons on Marathon Day. We cannot speak too highly of the excellent coffee, delicious Bacon Baps and the friendly service. Overall a very, very enjoyable visit.

I've been coming here for about 7 months now, pretty much every other weekend to get productive with work and studies and the vibe is just great. Tech and house music, fantastic staff who know and source their coffee themselves, decent food if you've skipped breakfast and, well, amazing coffee.

I popped in for a coffee at the weekend and it was easily one of the best cups I've ever had. I naively asked for a "large latte" but was told they only serve one size.

What sets this place apart from other coffee shops is that their creativity goes beyond the best coffee in Alty, and into the majorly cool vibe you get from the decor, music and artwork in the shop. Also a big fan of the humour they use on social media and the A frame at the front of the shop! Keep it going guys!

I've been to Two Brothers several times and I have been very impressed during each visit. It's in a great location in the middle of town and just a couple of minutes walk from the main supermarkets. The staff are very friendly and professional who put a lot of effort into the presentation and quality of their drinks. Coffee is cheaper than the big chains (Costa, Nero etc) but tastes just as good. There's an interesting selection of food and other drinks too. It also has free WiFi. No reason to go anywhere else.

A brilliant coffee shop, loads of variations of coffee to try with great recommendations from the staff, the place has a really good atmosphere with an excellent playlist! I have visited for a weekend coffee and also while on business, makes a great place for any occasion. Would highly recommend.

Visited this shop on a number of occasions. The best flat white I've had in a long time. Its rare to find somewhere that does such good coffee, with no hipster feel to it. Staff are really friendly, and happy to talk to you about the coffees if that's your thing, if not, they're more than happy just to hear about your day. There's a great selection of books available ranging from in subject from coffee and tea, to local history. a must visit.

My partner was shopping so had to escape, cant beat the chilled but trendy vibe of this place, wide selection of coffees and brewing methods available. Certqinly made a visit to the shops alot more bearable

This is a really cool coffee shop, perfect for working in as the vibe is very relaxed (not many small kids) and the playlist is great. Crucially the coffee is consistently good and the staff super nice. Happy to be a regular.

I have been two Two Brothers coffee house several times now and its never dissapoints.

This place lifts the bar on good coffee. There are lovely complex flavours to savour. I have never had a coffee like it before. The biodegradable cup and lid are the icing on the cake.
