Wonderful, hub of the village. So friendly and fresh tasty food. We both had the full breakfast. Local ingredients and so tasty. The atmosphere was fabulous, we left feeling we'd made friends with the owners, the regular clients, and of course It's Dog friendly! Really Worth a visit anytime. Will be making it a regular stop off each time we come up.

Absolutely gorgeous, cosy cafe in the heart of Burwash. You would go a very long way to have such a scrummy sausage sandwich or perfect fry up. I’m going back soon to try one of their legendary bacon rolls. The couple that run this place are as kind and warm as their food is delicious. I would highly recommend for breakfast, brunch or lunch! In fact I’ve also tried their Victoria sponge and that was perfection too!

Fabulous traditional coffee shop with very friendly owners AND customers. We enjoyed a cuppa and tasty toasted tea cake yesterday with our Labrador, Rosie, who definitely enjoyed all the attention she got! Thank you! It’s great when you can take your dog and she is made as welcome as you are and is not just ‘the dog’. Was lovely to meet you and have a chat. We will definitely return when in the area again.

We had a delicious breakfast here two mornings running. Tea served in a teapot which gave 2+ cups. The bread used for toast was superb. Very friendly couple who went out of their way to be helpful. The cakes looked very inviting.

This place offer great food and quality service. The seeing provides a great atmosphere and if you are lucky you will see Cookie!

What an absolute little gem. I popped in for lunch after becoming stuck in the town and I cannot recommend this beautiful little cafe enough. A lovely feel to the place, listening to people chatting this is definitely a community cafe, the lady owner was very chatty and welcoming the food was great, their lovely little pup was so well behaved, didnt make a peep. I watched people come and go and tables were cleared and cleaned straight away. I will definitely be returning with friends for a bite and chat. 🥰

You honestly couldn’t ask for a warmer welcome than at this cosy village cafe. The perfect spot for a warm cuppa and a slice of delicious cake after a walk, or to relax over a light lunch. Four legged friends are especially welcome, the owners love dogs and you may even meet a very special resident!!

Omg how fab, my daughter surprised me, she ordered the lunch that's prepared. We had so many sandwiches and cakes, half had to be taken home for the kids. I then took my daughter for her birthday. Love it here, and dig friendly 💜

Lovely and cosy tea rooms. Dog friendly, dogs have always been well behaved on visits and walking past. The food tastes great and presented nicely. Outside seating area as well as inside. Lovely owners who are welcoming. Would 100% recommend!

Lovely, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Doggy friendly. We are local and love to pop in when we walk the dog. The food is delicious and the cakes are yummy. I would highly recommend calling in and sampling their friendly welcome.

Handily placed for anyone visiting nearby Batemans, Blacksmiths sells good locally-produced food. Plenty of on-street parking too.

Disgusting treatment of customer who's disabled daughter was sick whilst at thier premises. Mother had to cleanup mess with no assistance just supply of cleaning materials . Then they charged 10 pounds cleaning fee on bill. SHAMEFUL

Great cafe, good coffee, friendly owners helped us with some local knowledge as we are moving to the area. Pièce de résistance is the huge slice of chocolate/orange cake that tastes exactly like a giant Jaffa Cake! Love it.

Stopped here for coffee after walking from Batemans. Very pleasant owners- we had to leave do they offered to put my tea in a takeaway cup to save leaving it behind.

You really need to visit this lovely cafe in Burwash High Street. Jules and Scott will make you really welcome! Their cakes are delish and they offer lovely lunches too. An absolute must.

Such a warm welcome. Lovely tea, coffee and cakes. Being a hot day we sat outside and could easily imagine we were in France. Everyone was made so welcome including our dogs. The cakes were beautiful, home made and huge slices.

We stopped here on our way from Folkestone to Hove and enjoyed a marvelous tea, scones and ice cream. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff and even our dog was given a treat. So good to find such places still exist. Thoroughly recommend
