Lovely friendly cafe, full of locals with tasty home made food.

Lovely little place. Delicious creamy wild mushroom soup with a fluffy cheese scone for me today. Huge mug of got chocolate with sprinkles and all for my son. Great, cheerful service. Spotlessly clean.

honest review food was lovely , breakfast type brunch freshly made . Nice coffee ….. but unfortunately we waited 55 mins for food , to be fair sometimes it’s ok to wait so long for food but maybe would be an idea for the staff to approach the customer over the expected wait time . i think expectations being managed should be a considered idea . yes it’s a small kitchen but just bring honest .

Didn’t eat so couldn’t rate the food. However the bar staff were super friendly, the beers were nice & crisp. The weather was cold outside but the pub inside was lovely & warm, toilets were clean. 3 big tv’s showing the football. 2 couples enjoying some nice lagers & ciders at good prices. Will definitely visit again.

Great service and quality freshly made food. Well worth a visit if youre looking for breakfast or brunch. Nice outdoor area if weather permits.

I said we would be back,my wife and I went for lunch today,we had mushrooms in blue Stilton sauce and pan fried wood pigeon to start,and then we both had the same for our main meal,which was Southern board,the whole meal was excellent as was the service,we are going back next Sunday for Sunday lunch,with some friends,see you then.

De reviews zijn perfect, dus daarom een pitstop gemaakt. Gekozen voor de fish and chips omdat die nog op het lijstje stond. Deze viel heel erg tegen, terwijl wij niet zo’n moeilijke eters zijn. Helaas niet alleen maar positief dus. Ik zou aanraden om vooral een van de andere gerechten te kiezen.

Had a lovely jacket potato with chilli con carne and side salad. Chilli was very tasty, good portions and lovely side salad. Great value for money, would definitely recommend

What a great little cafe. Had tea and scones, OMG what a scone, fruity and moist and warm. Hubby had coffee and walnut cake, so tasty. Nice and clean and relaxing. Only negative was it was busy and only 2 working so slow service, possibly need a third person, however it was Easter Sunday so might not have been prepared. Would definitely visit again and recommend this cafe

He estado viniendo a Cup Tales durante 7 años, desde que me mudé a la zona y es, con diferencia, el mejor café que he encontrado en Londres o incluso en todo el mundo! Hacen mi taza exactamente como me gusta y el servicio y el ambiente es perfecto. Amistoso, relajado. He conocido a muchos de mis amigos y contactos actuales allí; es ese tipo de lugar. Elección simple y poco exigente de pasteles, pasteles y sándwiches, todos cuidadosamente elegidos y presentados. Maravillosos dueños. Una experiencia encantadora cada vez!

I’ve been here several times and never been disappointed. The food is simple but well presented, fresh and delicious. I am coeliac and my wife is vegan and we never feel short changed with the quality and selection. Also serves great coffee. Staff are friendly and professional.

Lovely place to eat or for a coffee Lovely friendly staff, the cakes are delicious and other meals look great too . Would recommend .
