Awesome boat trip, super friendly staff and reasonably priced! Boats come really frequently and we didn’t queue at all. Really made our little getaway.

Jurassic Bites is our favourite eatery in the area, Julie and Lee are exceptional in their roles, always friendly, efficient and in control of all the orders. We often have one of their toasted sandwiches, cheese and pineapple, brie and cranberry, or any combination of cheese and their choice of chutneys, served with a large side salad. There are many more fillings. Other times we have one of their huge delicious ice creams. Mustn't forget the best hot chocolate I've ever tasted! Everything is very reasonably priced, clean, and with an amazing view, what's not to like?

If you are in the area either for Holiday or just passing through you have to visit Jurassic Bites. Their food is superb, for our family it is the best in the area. Julie and Lee run a fantastic cafe, where they offer incredible breakfasts fully customisable and a range of teas fresh coffees. Also lunch sandwiches, toasties, salads, baked potatoes and simply the best ice cream with HUGE portions not just one measly scoop! Dessert? Lovely cheese and fruit scones along with great selection of HOME MADE cakes.. We drive to holiday in Beer every summer and JB is our first stop, after a 5 hour drive the views and the food on offer are a great way for us to re fuel while we wait for our accomodation to be ready. The service is always with a smile and your never waiting too long for your food to be brought to your table, not an issue when the views out to see are so great.. I really do wish that they were based on Beer Beach, my waistline wouldn't I can tell you. Pay them a visit you will not be dissapointed.

This has to be the best place for breakfast, lunch, cakes etc in the area. Everything is cooked perfectly and fresh, using quality produce. There's a great selection of breakfast baps, cold sandwiches, toasties, all the cakes are homemade, icecreams are a generous serving. Our favourites are the breakfast special (see pic), bacon bap, brie and bacon toastie, homemade cinnamon fruit loaf, scones, coffee and walnut cake and brownies. Basically, it's all good! The service is amazing, super efficient and very friendly, we come every year for a 2 week holiday and they remember us and what we have. A must visit if you're in the area.

Large range of teas and coffees. The oat milk latte was very nice and they have a great range of ice cream including vegan options. Nice big parasols on some picnic tables which was very handy as it rained while we were here! They maintain the ex-public toilets as well and they were beautifully clean, much better than most public loos .Thank you from a happy vegan. Definitely will visit again when possible.

Came to Jurassic Bites after 19 years (visited as a small child and had to recreate a photo). As you reach the diner there is a little walk way where you can access the beach, either go down the road or take the stairs. On honeymoon with my husband and we decided to get a spot of lunch after going into the Quarry cave at Beer a short distance down the road. This little diner on the cliff side offers hot/cold food and snacks, hot/cold beverages and even home made cakes! All this on top of the already amazing views. As I was eating my tuna and cheese toastie we discovered how friendly the wildlife is! (see attached photo of Robin eating from my finger). All in all we spent a good hour or two at this location taking in the views and chatting about our plans for the future. As you reach the diner there is a little walk way where you can access the beach, either go down the road or take the stairs. All in all it was a very pleasant experience with friendly staff and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Recommended by the Bedford Hotel where we always stay when visiting Regency Sidmouth for "the best Devonshire cream tea." Quality jam and cream is presented in proper dishes, not prepacked in hideous plastic containers. A generous supply although we have had better scones but still worth a visit. "A destination in itself."🇬🇧🇳🇿
