Jurassic Bites in East Devon

We absolutely LOVE this cafe ❤️ The people are so friendly, the coffee and tea is fabulous and the ice cream is THE BEST! The prices are very reasonable and the food looks excellent. We will be having something to eat at our next visit. Lovely views too⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stopped here for teh ice cream - truly wonderful We had teh lemon meringue, raspberry pavolova and the vanilla cream, excellent flavours well worth teh detour Would have loved to try more flavours but teh portions are so generous there was no room for more

Great food and lovely location. We always stop by for excellent coffee and home made cakes. The bacon baps are very generously filled and delicious too. Fab view if Seaton hole. Well worth the drive or walk.

From the friendly helpful staff to the tastiest sandwiches we had and absolute value to boot. What a great little cafe to eat and drink great quality food whilst overlooking Seaton Hole . Well done folks we’ll be back for the homemade cakes and coffee.

This has to be the best place for breakfast, lunch, cakes etc in the area. Everything is cooked perfectly and fresh, using quality produce. There's a great selection of breakfast baps, cold sandwiches, toasties, all the cakes are homemade, icecreams are a generous serving. Our favourites are the breakfast special (see pic), bacon bap, brie and bacon toastie, homemade cinnamon fruit loaf, scones, coffee and walnut cake and brownies. Basically, it's all good! The service is amazing, super efficient and very friendly, we come every year for a 2 week holiday and they remember us and what we have. A must visit if you're in the area.

The kiosk is in a lovely spot with sea views and a very helpful and friendly couple running it. We had yummy toasties with salad for lunch, thank you for offering vegan cheese option. Large range of teas and coffees. The oat milk latte was very nice and they have a great range of ice cream including vegan options. Nice big parasols on some picnic tables which was very handy as it rained while we were here! They maintain the ex-public toilets as well and they were beautifully clean, much better than most public loos .Thank you from a happy vegan. Definitely will visit again when possible.

Came to Jurassic Bites after 19 years (visited as a small child and had to recreate a photo). As you reach the diner there is a little walk way where you can access the beach, either go down the road or take the stairs. On honeymoon with my husband and we decided to get a spot of lunch after going into the Quarry cave at Beer a short distance down the road. This little diner on the cliff side offers hot/cold food and snacks, hot/cold beverages and even home made cakes! All this on top of the already amazing views. As I was eating my tuna and cheese toastie we discovered how friendly the wildlife is! (see attached photo of Robin eating from my finger). All in all we spent a good hour or two at this location taking in the views and chatting about our plans for the future. As you reach the diner there is a little walk way where you can access the beach, either go down the road or take the stairs. All in all it was a very pleasant experience with friendly staff and we will definitely be returning in the future.

We stumbled across this superb cafe whilst walking in Seaton on the coastal path to Beer. We stopped for for a cuppa and cake. Delicious. The cake was home made, very light, and morish. We will definitely call in again when in Seaton

An excellent place to stop and have a bite to eat, whilst doing the Seaton to Beer coastal walk. It's about halfway between the two and everything was great. Extremely friendly service and the bacon and sausage baps were very enjoyable. Recommended for a decent 'pit stop'.

Perfect location, amazing food and beverages and the best service! Hidden away, with the most amazing views this cafe is the best in area. Highly recommend Julie and Lee's amazing service , yummy food and great location.

Firstly, I must say this family run kiosk is just so inviting with the lovely owners who provide hot and cold drinks and excellent home made cooking for light meals and snacks, including delicious home made scones, either cheese or fruit. The seating is outside overlooking Lyme Bay from a great vantage point. Food ordered at the kiosk is brought to the table and can be enjoyed in the peaceful and interesting surroundings. This is a hidden gem not to be missed.

I have lost count of the amount of visits we have made to Jurassic Bites this year, certainly more than 10. The service is the perfect combination of efficient and friendly and the food is everything you could want for a pre or post beach...
