The best restaurants serving Mexican food in Central Scotland

We popped in to get a quick family lunch and were really happy that we did. Pass the Thyme is a clean and tidy eaterie. Modern furniture and a nice bar at the end appeal to all. There was a steady stream of customers, mainly locals by the sound of it which is always a good sign. Some tables had also been reserved for lunch that Saturday afternoon. The lunch menu was modern, accessible and focused on some staples such as pizzas, burgers, fries and salads. Between us we had a chicken Caesar, loaded nachos and smashed burgers. My 10yo wolfed down his burger and declared it “the best burger ever”. All dishes arrived promptly, were tasty, really well prepared and generous in their portions. And well priced too, ideal for a quick family lunch. Service was in keeping being efficient, clear and friendly. Very happy to recommend Pass the Thyme for lunch if you are in Campbeltown.

We had small plates which were all really tasty. Only downside was they were all brought out at the same time, so some of the food got slightly cold. That's the only negative. Highly recommend.

We booked here as we were staying locally.and we were so glad we did. The food was amazing, wholesome and delicious. The service was warm and welcoming and there was plenty of choice from the food and drink menu. Which had mixture of British and Italian selections. The restaurant side is only small so booking is recommended and parking is on street so can be a bit challenging to get close but plenty of side streets.

Yet again, our expectations were exceeded. Great food, and well flavoured. Absolutely great for a nice evening, especially as it gets colder outside!

Excellent restaurant. Ate there on two consecutive nights, while on short trip to Dundee to visit auntie in hospital. The best nachos we’ve had anywhere. Waiting staff absolutely lovely. Unfortunately, the night before we returned to Manchester, we left a water bottle there in a carrier (an invaluable thing we loved, which we bought in Costa Rica). Kyle Maddox went to the trouble of packing and sending it to us, at his own expense, from his local post office. He didn’t want re-imbursing and sent several emails to check on its progress. Absolutely above and beyond. We are so grateful to Kyle.

Great food! The flavors are vibrant and authentic. Each dish was packed full of fresh ingredients and perfectly seasoned. The careful packaging ensured the meal arrived warm and intact, making it feel like a fiesta at home. This is definitely a go-to spot for a delicious, hassle-free Mexican feast

We visited here on a Friday night, having booked in advance. We had a nice table at the window, which was ready on arrival. We ordered four dishes, as recommended. We had the Queso Fundido, Tacos, Quesadillas and Tostada. The food was excellent. Everything was great quality, and really tasty. The Margaritas were also brilliant. Great service too, and a nice atmosphere. We’ll definitely return.

my food didn't come I want a refund

Myself and my husband visited this lovely little restaurant on our recent visit to Perth....what a delightful place!! Beautiful food (l'm vegetarian and there was plenty of choice for me!),lovely wine,great and pleasant service and lovely, authentic surroundings....what's not to like?!

One of the worst burritos i have ever had. Bone dry. I ordered a great chicken burrito for lunch. Not cheap either at £7.75! Would not order again, can get better burritos elsewhere.

Como sugiere el título, probé para 1 calle, dos veces en 1 semana y todo lo que puedo decir es ¡guau! ! ! Tenía cada relleno de tacos y también tenía nachos. Los tacos son fenomenales y el relleno de jack fruit es fácilmente lo mejor que puedes probar. Fantástico y te recomiendo en todas partes y también en el trabajo.
