Great find after a long day of travel with many connections. Equa provided us with excellent and warm service with a smile. Try the haggis nachos.

Another visit to this great Mexican, brilliant food, lovely service and good prices. No complaints at all and even although it is not right in the town centre, don't let this put you off as you will not be disappointed. Thanks again and we will be back in very soon.

My daughter and son-in-law went for food yesterday 1sept 2025 in the afternoon and was given food which was over priced cold when asked for the owner the staff said he’s not available. This is may be the last time they will attended.As it was my son in law birthday. Also the menu’s don’t state which is Halal food is . Very disappointed as they headed to Pizza Hut.

The takeaway burritos were lovely but the rest was far from amazing. The guacamole on the nachos was about a teaspoon worth and it looked like the squirty-in-a-bottle kind.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary we hadn't booked a table but we were still able to get seated.. We were welcomed with friendly smiling staff. We both had 3 course meal and we both absolutely loved the food good portion sizes and the quality of the food was top notch. I however got speaking to the manager and he had promised me my burrito would be as traditional as possible. I almost regretted it as it was spicy hot but I still thoroughly enjoyed my meal and cleared my plate. Just like to add I started off with BBQ chicken wings that was a great starter just to kick start the taste buds. Finished off with chocolate pudding and ice cream which was superb. Just another thank you for making our anniversary dinner a good one.

Great place. Very friendly, great food and service. They tailored the menu to our needs, my son wanted to try a taco and it was no bother at all. Very fresh and tasty. Would recommend!

Family meal out. Definitely a hidden gem. It was absolutely delicious. Everything is freshly cooked to order. Food was mouthwatering and very well presented. Had a few takeaways from here and in my time but sitting in the restaurant is a different ball game. You get all the pleasant aromas of the food cooking. Premises are very clean. Staff and owner were very friendly and helpful. Great for kids too as there's a kids menu and there's always pizza for the older kids!! Definitely be back in the future and fingers crossed at the awards. Good luck

Excellent little restaurant in Falkirk! Great menu, fabulous service, very clean and wonderful ambiance. The mojito was amazing, and the taquitos and chili con carne were great! I would eat here often if I were local.

What a great experience. First time visiting this restaurant but it won’t be the last. Lovely and attentive staff great food and very reasonable prices. We went here for dinner and were very pleasantly surprised. It was very quiet although it was Father’s Day and not much atmosphere but the staff were very friendly and attentive. Absolutely no complaints about the food, in fact the nachos were the best i have tried. We shared the starter, had a main course each, a water, soft drink and a medium glass of white wine and the bill was just under £35. Excellent value for money. One small negative was the delivery driver came over and joined in with a conversation that my wife and I were having without being asked, which we thought was a bit rude. Apart from that I would have no problem returning to this restaurant or recommending to anyone, we were just sorry that we left it so long to visit.

Came across this mexican gem today, food was mouthwatering and very well enjoyed, Prices affordable for delicious grub. Will return for sure when in the vicinity, highly recommend the peri peri chips top notch!

This is the only restaurant in Falkirk that delivers food piping hot just as it would be in the restaurant, bbq chicken burrito, tacos & spicy rice & beans all absolutely delicious & cooked to perfection, portions are huge. Fabulous Mexican food everytime.

The food was amazing and great service

Visited at 3pm on 2/2/24. Food tasted fresh it was delicious. Service was friendly and fast. We will return. We recommend trying, best Mexican food I’ve tasted in a while (Suggestion .….outside should be more obvious we couldn’t find it , didn’t realise it was a resturant, walked by twice before locating. Indoor seats not that comfortable if you lean on table it could tip.)

Popped in late afternoon / early evening for something quick to eat and it was fab. All of the food ordered was delicious. Everything tasted fresh and the flavours all hit well, especially my spicy chimmichanga. The owner and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall I thought it was good value, especially when compared to the other places that serve similar meals that are well below this standard within the local vicinity. Really enjoyed my visit.

I ordered online for a delivery. The chicken fajitas were delicious, if not a little cool (best transported in a warmed bag). I'm not sure why the restaurant chose not to give authentic guacamole. I was given green goop that didn't remotely taste of avocado and was inedible. Real guacamole would have resulted in a 5 star delivery review.

This was a great little restaurant. The food was excellent. We ordered a pizza and chimichanga (chicken). The staff were very friendly and the service was prompt. We would definitely return. It was good value for money given the quality of the food and service.

Smart small restaurant. Fast efficient service and lovely Mexican food. Enchilada and chimichanga recommended. Parking looks problematic but there was no problem parking outside or on the adjacent side street.

Exceptional Service at Mexican Texmex Bar & Grill I recently dined at Mexican Texmex Bar & Grill and had the pleasure of being assisted by Mike. Although I’m not sure of his exact role at the restaurant, whether he's a waiter, manager, or the owner, his service was nothing short of exemplary. Mike was very attentive, friendly, and made sure we had a fantastic dining experience. His recommendations from the menu were spot on and greatly enhanced our meal. The atmosphere at Mexican Texmex Bar & Grill is vibrant and welcoming, much like Mike’s persona. It's clear that he takes great pride in ensuring the satisfaction of the restaurant's patrons. I highly recommend Mexican Texmex Bar & Grill, and a big shoutout to Mike for making our visit a memorable one. I will definitely be returning in the near future.

As Texans-it wasn’t what we would’ve had at home but it was delicious nonetheless!! They served our unexpected late party of 14 with no issues. The chef even brought some plates out himself and explained that several dishes had been altered to suit local taste. Our lamb, taquitos and stuffed pepper was amazing! Highly recommend saving room for dessert!

Heard good things about this place. Finally managed to try it. I ordered the tex mex special burrito. It was excellent 👌🏼 full of fresh meat and packed with veg. Was a healthy portion size too. Will definitely be back to try something else. Staff were friendly. The restaurant was immaculate.

The exterior really belies the interior, outside it looks like a cheesy takeaway place, but inside was quite possibly the best Mexican cuisine I've had this side of the Atlantic.

Very expensive for very little food avoid

Had previous orders and have been absolutely amazing. Had one tonight and it was absolutely stinking!!!! Not impressed. Tbh I really would like a refund it was that bad!! Chips soggy chicken not cooked right and kebab meat dry and rubbery!!! Worse place ever now

Awlful full food ordered the meal for 1 the avocado was cheap fake and disgusting also when ordering the price on the menu was wrong the bill came to £8 more than the menu price for 3 meals (2x meal for 1 and a fajita) the fajita was also only 4 rather than the 5 on the menu and was frozen veg and onion. Not the best experience at all! Won’t be going back.

A small place feels like a hidden gem as it doesn't look busy that often however the quality of the food is excellent. My wife is not a spicy food fan and this place adds generous amount of spice, that bing said she always finishes her food as the quality is so good that the spice doesn't remove from the experience for her. The menu is diverse with non Mexican food on the menu however I have only had the Mexican and think it is quality meat and spices that make this place worth a visit.

Food was a disgrace. £32.04 for a delivery order was wrong asked them to come. And take. It back asked me to take photos and send to them just wanted my dinner gutted place isn’t the same anymore won’t. Get again if want to save your money and. Get good food go Japanese try sumo text mex isn’t cutting. Actually feel bumped even salad was dried out lol Lesson learned

Food never arrived! Waited over two hours. Phoned several times for an update to be told it’s minutes away each time. Still never arrived. Customer service was shockingly bad!

Waited over 2 hours for food. Never delivered, phoned restaurant several times for updates and was told was 5 minutes away several time. Requested refund which they didn’t process. Had to call back again for this and was told they are busy. Shocking service.

Was really looking forward to Mexican for a change, it may have Mexican wording but no authentic flavour. My chimichanga was not deep fried, just a soggy wrap. Rice and beans were extremely bland. Partners pizza was just ok. Kids left over half of their pizza. Very disappointing.

Got a hankering for Mexican, and was in the area so visited. Place was quiet but not dead on a Tuesday, and very easy to park near. Menu was a bit of a sign things weren't right - lots of corrections in pen, some spelling mistakes etc... I had the beef taquitos, followed by the "Tex Mex Special Burrito". The Taquito was not deep fried, it was basically a small burrito with fairly plan minced beef/chili in it. The burrito was a touch spicier than I tend to go for, but actually somewhat bland. Rice and beans on the side was a touch underwhelming and felt like it had come from a packet. I suffered no ill effects from the food, the place was clean and the staff were friendly - but would not recommend it.

We went to try Mexican food while on our family trip to Scotland. The food tasted great and this place had lot of variety of Mexican food option. Had a great time eating delicious Mexican food in reasonable price. Would definitely recommend to those who are local or visit to Falkirk, Scotland.

On holiday, random choice from Google. Nice clean restaurant. Good menu range, wide variety of meals, chose 2 mixed grills. Lots of meat cooked on grill, rice, salad veg and sauce, fresh, well presented and tasty. Really enjoyed our meal. Service was very friendly and efficient. Would use this restaurant again, highly recommended.

Great food the haggis nachos were awesome

My friend and I decided to go here today for a late lunch/early dinner and it did not disappoint. We had the vegetable taquito to start and they were delicious. Full of flavour throughout. For the main we then both had the vegetable chimichanga (a real favourite of mine) and it was beautiful. So tasty and again full of flavour. The service was very good too. Staff were attentive and friendly. I would definitely return and would recommend here to anyone wanting some lovely, well-priced TexMex food!!

First time I tried it was good, the next few times have been even better! Tried nearly the full menu and it's all tasty !! It is mild but it says that so ask for spicy if that's your thing

Great when sitting in but the food doesnt travel well. Nachos are all glued together and soggy with hardened cheese - sitting in is a different story and the food is always great!

Ate from here afew times recently however tonight just put me off a little, order took just under 2 hours to get here after stating 50 minites and guess what 85% of the food is cold. One good 3 year old patiently waits that long for cold pizza and mum gets a cold rump stake and dad's well you guessed it cold.

Lovwd tonight diner, Authentic Mexican food super tasty and athmosphere inside is just fantastic. Lady who served us tonight had outstanding customer service.
