Absolute wasters. App order changes at last stage to say two hours for delivery. Phone line takes 50 minutes to get through to cancel. Over an hour in total after speaking to someone to wait 3-5 days for my money back. Order at another place with a normal delivery time and will still now not be feeding the family til half past eight. Absolute clowns and money grabbers taking on more than they can handle to try and squeeze every penny they can.

Best Chinese in area. Everything cooked fresh and served by a great team with great service.

Great evening meal . Cannot fault this place for food, service and value for money.

Ordered a delivery worth £46. Food was horrific and totally over priced. Cold on delivery, Chicken was as dry as old leather boots, rice still hard. Ordered duck pancakes however apparently they come without duck 🤷‍♀️ I have complained. Was offered a £25 voucher. I wouldn’t go back and not getting a reply to my request for a refund. Food was packaged up for them to collect as was inedible but not interested in my complaint. This place is surviving off it’s old reputation. Save your money and go elsewhere!

Another local place with a relaxed attitude to legal measures of wine. Erring to their own benefit of course. Our two 250ml glasses yesterday contained about 210ml tops. Trust me, with well over 50 years experience I know what a proper measure looks like.

The Tea House is one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been in! The food is delicious, the staff are really friendly and welcoming (especially Alan who served us!) and the atmosphere is great. We had a welcoming Chinese tea to try which is a really nice touch and then I asked for something that wasn’t on the menu (chicken with oyster sauce) but it was not an issue and is honestly one of the best that I’ve had! We have had a few takeaways from here now as well but can’t wait to go back and sit in again!

I am so annoyed at the arrogance shown by the staff here. I ordered a takeaway online for my wife and I. When it was late (I complained about that in a previous review but gave them another chance) I phoned and was told that it was due to traffic and the weather. When I said the Sanaam in Falkirk managed deliveries on time was dismissed by saying they were not as busy as the Teahouse. If you are that busy you manage it better as the Sanaam and the Cotton House do. Then when I asked where the delivery was I was told that when the driver came in they would pick it up… seriously it hadn’t even been sent ? Then when the (lovely) delivery guy arrived he told me that it was actually due to the first few deliveries being at far flung places in Falkirk (which is absolutely fine) but not what I was told by the person I spoke to. STOP LYING TO PEOPLE.

The food is outstanding here but you do feel really rushed by the staff. Had booked dinner with a friend so we could catch up and we felt like we were being rushed out the door before we’d even placed our order. I like a fast service but there’s fast service then there’s being chased. It was midweek too, didn’t quite understand this.

Ordered a takeaway tonight via the app. The pick time was 15mins from order which I thought was ambitious however the meal was there when I arrived even though the restaurant looked very busy and there was a constant stream of takeaway meals being collected. My meal, Sliced Fillet Steak with black pepper sauce, was lovely as always. Tip- Collect meals if not prepared to wait over an hour for delivery.

Went here for my daughters birthday. Staff very friendly and on the ball with service. Food is piping hot and very tasty.. Amazing

Bit of mixed feelings, I have to say the food was good, 5 complimentary prawn crackers between 2 was a bit stingy though, we just had 2 mains which were Thai dishes and we're OK, and the order came to the table reasonably quickly, but the staff hovered over not just our table but a few others and I hadn't even finished chewing the last bite when they started clearing the table, 2 x staff, in fact my glass was also taken with a small amount of beverage in it these actions made us decide not to have another drink or dessert, I'd see the point if we were staying too long but I booked for 4.30 arrived at 4.25 and was ushered out at 5.20, incidentally my bill was £39.40 so I gave the server £40.00, expecting her to return to the table with tge change of 60p which would have been added the tge £5.00 I had pulled out my pocket for a tip, but she never returned, which is the phrase my wife used on returning to our home "we won't be going back there" it was her birthday retreat afterall, shame but hey ho there's plenty of other eating houses in the area.

Wow wow wow!!! It's been a long time since I have been here but it definitely did not disappoint. Decor, service and ambiance superb. Food outstanding. Not one of our party had anything but praise for the food. Will definitely return. Thank you.

Food is always really nice, but for delivery orders be prepared to wait at least an hour and a half. Crazy. Maybe it’s because I have moved from Glasgow but waiting that long for a chinese is insane.

Compact dining however it did not interfere with the experience. It created an intimate setting. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious and fresh. Very attentive staff, highly recommend.

My first visit for lunch. We arrived not long before closing time and the waiter was very accommodating. Food was fresh and delicious and service was excellent. Excellent choices on the lunch menu for vegetarians. I would recommend and looking forward to visiting again.

Takeout food is always very good and pick-up well organised.

We got a delivery to the Kersbrock kabins and the food was incredible! We decided to be cheeky and ask the delivery driver if he would be so kind to grab us some fire logs for the bonfire and drop them off (I didn’t catch his name but a local Stirling /falkirk accent). To our surprise he came back with a massive bag! What a credit this man is to your takeaway service he went above and beyond for a customer and we are so appreciative!! 14/10/24

Ordered food for delivery at 5pm. After 2 phone calls , food arrived almost 3 hours later at 7.50pm...cold and inedible. The Tea House used to be excellent, but in my experience, standards have slipped and they are taking customers for granted. i am sure the Tea House will not be concerned about my lack of custom but their loss is someone else again.

Had a wonderful meal for 3 adults. We chose the set price lunch menu and it was an excellent bargain! The food could not be faulted. It was fresh and piping hot. We were served lovely complimentary Chinese tea to begin - a lovely start to a lovely meal. Each dish was made with beautifully fresh ingredients and did not disappoint. We travelled quite some distance and it was well worth it!

Phoned for a delivery with expected delivery time of just over an hour. 1hr 40 mins later and no delivery so called and couldn't give us a time Cancelled our order as I'm sure they had lost our order

Excellent takeaway food but their app is not intuitive at all. I installed it but gave up trying to work out how to use it.

Visited last week with family. The food was amazing, delicious, piping hot and great size portions. The service was also first class and we had a lovely table for 4 downstairs in the Jasmine area. We will definitely return.

Just had a takeaway delivery, we all completely enjoyed everything, the Mongolian beef was absolutely delicious. Shout out to the Chef, first class. All good was piping hot and amazing. Thank yous so much ❤️

This is a great Chinese restaurant. We were a large family party of 14 people and we all enjoyed our meal. We would recommend this restaurant- food and service were great.

Not a place for a relaxing dining experience. You are allocated 90 mins, they may give you a bit extra if you ask but no one answers the phone. A family of 4 on a birthday night out were harassed from the start to choose drinks and food, a bit tricky when it’s your first time seeing the menu. After our mains the staff were actually cleaning the table as we sat there, no chance of desert. Staff not rude but very reserved, they obviously need to get the food into you and get you out asap. Food was nice, yes but Ambience poor and not an enjoyable or relaxing evening.

Very VERY disappointed! Tried to order on the app, my order went thru and payment came off my card but my order got rejected. Called them to find out what happened was sat in a queue saying I was number 1 in the queue for 25mins. Went in to restaurant to find out what happened and was told something wrong with the system. Bad service to not even phone back a customer and give an explanation or reassurance that payment would be returned! Will not attempt a takeaway from there again, even though the food is good, service very disappointing!

First time at this place. Such a nice modern venue. Food was great portion sizes are very good for what you pay. Would highly recommend.

Terrible service . Ordered online 1 hour 45 mins later. The meal turned up freezing had to microwave it. What a waste of £35.00. Never again ordering from this place. Good luck if you order online.

I love chinese food - noodles with... something... but it was 1st time when the noodles were so 'stinking' and terrible taste that I had to remove them from my plate... Both lamb and vegetable were ABSOLUTELY deliciouse, however, I still feel the fumes, consistancy and taste of that thing that supposed to be noodles. I assume it was maybe 'accident' but it has happend to me.

Delivery tonight, 29th March, 45 minutes late and chicken black bean inedible, chicken dry and tough, would not have again.

Best curry I’ve ever had. Try it duck mushrooms chicken king prawn curry was outstanding. Had fried rice noodles and salt and chilli chips with it to share. 10 out of 10

Ordered at 5pm, delivery advised by approximately 7.45. Finally arrived at 8.15, cold and chips soggy.

Tried a few take aways in the last few weeks, and they haven't tasted the same. One with excessive garlic, stodgy overcooked fried rice, and more veg than meat in one of their overpriced specials. It's a shame as the food when dining in is much better

I ordered crab, but it was bitter and too salty. I couldn't eat it. and it cost £15.40. Garlic & Chilli seafood consisted of onions and peppers, very little seafood. For the high cost of dishes, you should cook better. I'm a little disappointed.

Food is definitely better if you sit in. Chineese food on take out not so much but extremely busy so can't be that bad.

Been a while since the last time I was there. Woh! it was busy, Forhot it was Saturday night. The staff and the service was really good. Food choices were varied and portions were big. Recommended.

As a coeliac it's very hard to get 100% gluten free safely handled food but the range the TeaHouse offer is superb with enormous portion sizes. Worth every penny.

Food was ok , service average , nice decor, but we felt rushed the whole time. They were rushing us out, from about half an hour in. After an hour and twenty mins they were pretty much telling us to leave . The rushed experience means I wouldn’t choose to ho back

Asked for a special fried rice, they gave me noodles, asked for a hot and sour soup they gave me a sweatcorn soup. Plus the waiter just ignores you. Never coming back again.

Would highly recommend, make sure you book in advance because it is THAT busy! We had our friend's birthday there and they allowed bringing a cake and brought it out and everything, was perfect! Thanks again, Tea House staff that my friend's birthday so special 😁

Good food and very pleasant staff, parking is a bit of an issue if busy, but that's because were lazy and dont like walking lol.

put in an order to collect at 5.30 the woman said they didn’t have it and we showed the confirmation email and she said they haven’t made the food so there’s nothing they can do and it will be another 1 hour wait. there was no resolution and the person at the collection was very rude and not accommodating at all
