Moon Light Kitchen in Falkirk

What a lovely place to go! What a taste. The staff was great as well. Ambiance was also good. The good thing about food was that they knew what they were cooking. It was not like other restaurants that used the same red curry and meat. Highly recommended to go. Tried pilau rice, traditional Nepalese curry, momos, Nepalese chilli chicken, which is absolutely stunning! The portion were however, a bit smaller.

Ordered via uber tonight for a delivery, and after an hour or so I called to check on the food. The staff on the phone were really so nice despite there being some confusion about our order, and we very promptly received the food about 20 minutes after the call, and honestly it was worth the wait! Normally would be put off when an order is late but not this time! Really delicious food and super generous portion sizes. Will definitely order again.

Lived in East Africa and lower hills of Himalayas, Missouri and this restaurant takes me back to those places. Excellent.

The food was really good especially starters main and Nan was ok massive portions but sorry not as good as the sanam but the staff were absolutely amazing

A hidden gem in a gloomy Town centre

My husband and I had a meal here a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic so we decided to order a take away tonight, I called to see how far out of the town they delivered to but we were a couple of miles outside there delivery area but despite this they were willing to deliver to us tonight as a one off, I was very please with service and care that was taken over the phone. The food was delivered on time and yet again the food was fantastic. Thank you Moonlight Kitchen for going out of your way to deliver, once again the food was first class from our starters through to our main meal.

Now been five times. Same high standard every time.

Food is good. Lost a star because of the drinks. I’ve never tasted a coca cola like that in my entire life. Order two and both the same. Cheap garbage and charging £3.50 per pint. Please sort this out.

Moonlight Kitchen served one of the best meals I have had in a longtime. Lamb biryani, garlic naan, chicken ticka masala and for fun, a haggis pakora. 10 out of 10.

What a wonderful experience! I recently moved into a new office in Falkirk and had a look at the nearby restaurants, noticed this one had been getting traction and with great reviews on TripAdvisor and Google I thought I'd give it a try! Wow, what a lovely restaurant this is, very attentive staff, very delicious and authentic foods and fantastic seating. Our family have a new favourite Indian from our first visit and I'm looking forward to coming back! Second time was even better, phenomenal food, fantastic service and a great atmosphere. Thoroughly impressed by what we've had lately and looking forward to trying more!

Never had a bad meal yet unlike other places

Doesn't look like much from the outside, easy to miss. The food was incredible, the service was very attentive and friendly. We got there about an hour before closing, but didn't feel rushed at all. The food came out hot and fresh, the spice level was perfect and the flavours were wonderful.

Was there last night with a party of 12. Was worried the service might be slow with it being a Saturday and a large group.this was not the case and they were really efficient with drinks and food orders and the food was outstanding . My first visit and I will definitely be back! A great wee find.

Amazing food, decor and service. We were at the restaurant on Sunday. It was very busy. Highly recommend booking a table before you go. Hands down best Nepalese/indian Food we have ever had. Chicken Momo and chilly chicken were amazing. They also have a very good selection on cocktails. If you are in Falkik do visit.

Ordered peshwari nan ,got dry nan with coconut,pliau rice ,got what looked like brown rice and no hint of coconut cream thru korma,1st ever delivery 2night ,not again,driver was very polite and very pleasant,

Absolutely disgusting! Wouldn’t even give it a 0 star! Minus something. Delivery arrived stone cold, got a new delivery sent out and chicken pakora tasted like fish, chicken was dry, was missing the naan bread! Absolutely shocking and No response from restaurant. To top it off i have been sick now

This is by far the best Indian , Nepalese restaurant around . If you've not tasted the food , I would certainly recommend it . 👌 reasonably priced , and the food is delicious.

Booked a table for dinner this evening for first time. Have had takeaway from here before & it was really tasty so we thought we would dine in. Food is so tasty & service is outstanding. The staff are so friendly, helpful & polite & it was lovely that the staff spent time talking to the customers. One of the best Asian/Nepalese restaurants I have been to. Totally recommend & will definitely go back.

Down from Aberdeen (childminding) and the Moonlight Kitchen was suggested as being worth trying. Ordered a delivery and it was EXCELLENT!! Slick ordering over the telephone, food delivered within 30inites and it was excellent. Both starters and main courses tasty and plentiful. Hint: try the Nepalese Momos (both chicken AND veg) from the starter menu. Lovely! Good range on the menu, good prices - full marks to the Moonlight Kitchen.

First visit. Staff absolutely first class. Food prepared by chefs to perfection. We will most certainly be visiting again. Highly recommend this small restaurant to anyone looking for a genuinely cooked Indian meal. We also noticed that deliveries of food was busy but this did not have any effect on the service of clients eating in. Well done staff.

We have been here about 6 times now when we visit our family. Service fantastic, the food is delicious and so very friendly can't do enough especially for our Grandaughter in a high chair. Highly recommend 👌

Very tasty indeed. I've never tried Nepalese food before so found the flavours unusual but very pleasant. The chicken was unbelievably tender and the garlic nans were nice too. Staff seemed pleasant when I collected our order. Will definitely be back to try something else on the menu

First visit. Nice place. Good friendly welcome. Draught cobra! Had mixed pakora then chicken Bhuna with nan bread. Good portion size. Freshly cooked. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Will be back.

Pleasure to have a place like this in Falkirk. Super high quality food, can tell it's freshly made and very generous portions! The manager? (Blue shirt guy) is super friendly and happy to help. Some kick out of some of their dishes, but like all good places that do spicy, you aren't dying for half an hour after one course. Hot but flavoursome! Second time in a month and will be back again!

Fresh beautifully cooked and presented meals and very tasty. The sizzlers are just fantastic. The staff are very friendly and accommodating when asked to make the sauces more spicy than normal. The Cobra lager was very refreshing and cheap for it being served in a town centre establishment. This is a change to other Falkirk curry houses and a very welcome newcomer. Will definitely be back.

You find here really pure Indian taste and little bit fusion of traditional Indian and Nepalese cuisine, once you have trying it really love it. I recommend to everyone please try once and it gonna be yours favorite place.

Great place for an authentic Nepalese dish. Staff are friendly and do well to cater to customers. Portion size is fantastic for the price. Great place for meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans alike as they have a variety of dishes to suit

Just had one of the best chicken bhunas and kadhai in a long long time , we used to be regular diner's at masala rams, spent over £100 a week then they changed the way they done things and portions were allot smaller and consistently changed ,since then we've never been able to get what they used to give us to start with, we've tried all the Indian food in and around Falkirk, however never got it just right. But you've nailed it tonight , keep on doing what you've been doing and you will have our custom regular!
