Gran servicio, precios y comida.

Visited here for a quick Mexican takeaway and I wasn't completely disappointed. The service was very good and the girl behind the counter had a good knowledge of the food. Service was very quick and efficient, however some of the food fell a little short in the spicy stakes. I opted for the Adobo Chicken Enchilada and although there was loads of filling it wasn't as spicy as I would have liked. I would visit again but I will try something else in the hope that it has more spice

Lovely staff, polite and friendly! However I got a chicken burrito that was filled with chicken bones and large ones as well! Although the restraunt is nice and clean, I wouldn’t go back for food as it could have been dangerous!

If you ever want a quick, good, take away from here, I'd highly recommend! Their tacos are 10/10 with loads of fillings to choose from.

Using an ItIsOn voucher, my wife and I had 2 small burritos with an extra topping and a soft drink for £10. We hadn't eaten here before but, with another Mexican street food place opposite, thought it was time to try it out. It is located in the university area of Dundee, so the decor probably wasn't aimed at me and I found it a bit McDonalds like atmospherewise, but we sat down on the stools at the window. Normally customers are recommended to take away due to the limited seats in the place, but at this time of year there was plenty of space. The formula is to to choose a dish (eg burrito), a filling (steak was unfortunately unavailable), a salsa (with a wide wange available for tasting), then adding a topping if desired. I was going to upgrade from small to large until I saw the size of the small one, and so we tucked into our burriitos, me a chilli one and my wife a chicken one. They were both filling and really tasty and, even at full price, not a bad deal at £5.95. We enjoyed the experience and would definitely use Muchachos again for a quick bite.

Two medium burritos for £6 using itison.com vouchers. I’ve used this more times than I want to admit! Lovely grub!! Best when taken home and shoved in the oven to melt the cheese a bit.

Love the variety of options in here! You can taste the different sauce options prior to buying, which is enticing and helpful. Food is fresh, healthy, tasty and quick for either sit in or takeaway. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Prices decent too. The music just jazzes the atmosphere nicely. Fab

Decent Mexican, nice flavours, I had 3 soft tacos each with a different filling. Not a bad price. Tasty salsa. Decor is great!

Was really excited when this opened up but I feel like this is slightly over priced for Dundee. Don't appreciate extra for every little thing. It's not too bad, just not something I would buy without the itison vouchers. On the bright side, the decor is absolutely brilliant. Staff is friendly too!

Given the amount of flavours and textures associated with Mexican food its hard to fathom how someone can get it so wrong - well fathom no more, step to the fore Muchacho!! I've been a few times when this place opened and wasn't impressed but figuring it may have just been teething problems I returned. The subway style conveyor belt is the perfect setup for quick, authentic Mexican food as it allows enough customisation to cater for different tastes but is also super speedy. On entering Muchacho they seem to have everything right, form the branding and colour schemes to the sample salsas and chips on the counter. It's a great start, but that's really where the positives end. I chose the beef burrito and to be fair, when you see your Burrito being assembled it looks good. However, once its all wrapped up, and subsequently unwrapped for consumption, your first bites are so underwhelming you'd happily trade an Old El Paso Buritto Kit and do it yourself (which you probably could for the £7 I paid for the SMALL Burrito). The rice, greasy. The Black eyed peas, tough and chalky, the beef, although plentiful, completely and utterly void of flavour. The cheese, salsa and sour cream that was applied was literally undetectable. To put together so many ingredients and produce next to zero flavour is actually quite an accomplishment. This is so far away from authentic mexican cuisine, what a shame. The place over the road, Wee Mexico, is fairly average but in comparison to Muchacho should be given a Michelin star. I would urge whoever owns this venture to TASTE what they are producing and make some urgent changes otherwise I can't see a bright and prosperous future for the establishment.

Nipped in here for a slightly late lunch around 3pm. It was fairly quiet, which was expected, given the time and the fact it was a Tuesday. The guy serving offered to give me a mix for my tacos as I was undecided between chicken and pork. So I got 2 chicken and 1 pork, 2 of my tacos I asked for chipotle sauce and 1 I asked for the ‘punch in the face’ hot sauce and also a Guava juice. It came to just over £7 (this was on the 3 for 2 taco Tuesday deal). The food was really tasty and the portion sizes were generous. This would be somewhere I’d come back with friends for lunch as it was a really nice atmosphere with the design and the music. One pointer would be for people that can’t cope with too much spice, to try the salsas first if they can. I like spicy food so I was fine, but I think someone that didn’t would maybe get a shock with the heat of the chipotle sauce, despite it just being rated 1 chilli. Would definitely recommend this place, especially for a quick chilled lunch with friends. I love the juices, which gave it an authentic feel.

I don’t know how this establishment has had the audacity to open up shop right across the road from an already well established Mexican restaurant with an almost identical menu. However, this is no competition. My girlfriend and I ordered two burritos to take away. The ‘chilli beef’ was simply tough shredded meat with no chilli sauce, the rice was greasy and had no flavour. Of salsa there was barely a trace. All inside a wrap that was tough and stale. I got about halfway through before I felt thoroughly ill. Thought we’d try this place just for a change from our usual place, but were thoroughly disappointed. If you do enjoy fresh, tasty Mexican food I would highly reccomend Wee Mexico across the street.

Great wee place in Dundee. Searched for Mexican food for something to have betore the train. In walking distance to the station. Arrived. There is a small electronic kiosk to order on. Everything is laid out easily to understand. Prices are decent. The prices on their website were slightly cheaper than on the machine. But I have found this alot of places recently. It was relatively quiet when I visited. When I was waiting for my order, the smell of stale smoke and alcohol did keep permeating the small establishment from next door. Nice wee sitting area. I think from memory this was up a wee flight of stairs rendering the place not accessible everywhere. Food was alright, nothing to write home about, but it got the job done for filling me up. Would consider to come here again, if other places were closed. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Just absolutely outstanding, one of the best restaurants in Dundee. Have been coming here for years and yet to be disappointed. Service is both friendly and quick. Portions are very generous and most importantly the food is beautiful. There’s also a nice cocktail menu (I recommend purple rain). Corona is the lager on draft. It would be nice if there was maybe one more for a bit of choice but in fairness they do also offer bottled beer.

Unfortunately since opening Taco Bell Dundee has got worse. The place is dirty loads of rubbish on the floor. Four staff members all pleasant enough but not proactively cleaning, despite there being hardly any customers, they emptied the overflowing bin but ignored the rubbish elsewhere. The order points are out of action. On a good note gives a blue light card discount of 20%.
