I feel incredibly lucky that we have a bonified steetfood business on Hayling, instead of the usual rubbish with "funky names" to make them more appealing - Cornish cook house offer quality, innovative and imaginative dishes that are definitely a cut above the rest. Their food is obviously handmade and as a former chef I can appreciate the thought and effort that has gone into their menu / specials and not just cheap crap from Bookers that every other catering business seems to churn out.

We came here on Friday night for dinner. We got 3x burritos and they were delicious. It was £8.50 for each burrito which came with a can of juice. The food was fresh and really tasty. We will definitely come back here again very soon.

We popped in to get a quick family lunch and were really happy that we did. Pass the Thyme is a clean and tidy eaterie. Modern furniture and a nice bar at the end appeal to all. There was a steady stream of customers, mainly locals by the sound of it which is always a good sign. Some tables had also been reserved for lunch that Saturday afternoon. The lunch menu was modern, accessible and focused on some staples such as pizzas, burgers, fries and salads. Between us we had a chicken Caesar, loaded nachos and smashed burgers. My 10yo wolfed down his burger and declared it “the best burger ever”. All dishes arrived promptly, were tasty, really well prepared and generous in their portions. And well priced too, ideal for a quick family lunch. Service was in keeping being efficient, clear and friendly. Very happy to recommend Pass the Thyme for lunch if you are in Campbeltown.

Absolutely fantastic Tacos! Also try the Quesadillas with the sauce! Some of the freshest food we have had in Scotland so far! A must for when you are in Portree! Take away and then go look for a place with a nice view- perfect!

We had small plates which were all really tasty. Only downside was they were all brought out at the same time, so some of the food got slightly cold. That's the only negative. Highly recommend.

Had a delicious meal here outside in the garden under the tent. The meal was delicious and Erica and her staff were very warm, welcoming and friendly. It was lovely to meet Rory who is a regular who props up the bar and apparently is more into food than pints. Will definitely go there again some time to try some of the other delicious dishes on the menu. Thanks Erica (and Rory :-). Best wishes, Dianne

Honestly, hands down the best taco in Glasgow. Full of flavour, proper fresh ingredients, and just the right kick o’ spice. You can tell they care about what they’re serving. Every time I go, it hits the spot. If you’ve not tried it yet, you’re seriously missing out!

Visited Rancho Pancho yesterday and I must say—this is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve dined at in Dundee. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by Maya, setting the tone for an amazing evening. I kicked things off with the Nachos Grande with chicken, paired with a glass of Big Wednesday. The nachos were phenomenal—crunchy, flavorful, and loaded, with possibly the best guacamole I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried a lot from different countries!). For my main, I had the Margarita Chicken: strips of marinated chicken breast pan-fried with cumin, chillies, garlic, cream, and a dash of Jose Cuervo Gold. It was beautifully plated and absolutely delicious. While it could’ve used a bit more spice, the flavors were still top-tier and well-balanced. It came with rice, sour cream, and flour tortillas—perfect accompaniments. I paired the meal with a glass of Pinot Grigio and later tried a Hurricane cocktail, which was refreshing and well-mixed. To finish, I went all out with a shot of Don Julio 1942—smooth and the perfect cap to the meal. Service & Atmosphere Special shoutout to Sarah and Maya who looked after me all evening. Their attentive and friendly service really made the experience stand out. The restaurant’s layout and vibrant décor create such a warm, festive vibe—it's Instagram-worthy and comfortable. From food to drinks to service, Rancho Pancho delivered on every level. Can’t wait to return!

Have been coming for years. Booked online as a birthday treat expecting early bird menu as shown online. On arrival, staff couldn't find our booking, however, they were able to seat us. Waitress gave us menus which had no early bird option. We questioned this so once she had spoken to the chef, they agreed to offer us a limited early bird menu. Unfortunately no dessert option was on this. Starter of nachos was extremely disappointing as was a cold pile of tortilla chips with very little topping. Portions of main very small and quality poor compared to how it used to be. On previous visits, on arrival customers were given a small complimentary margarita and a small sharing plate of salsa and tortillas. This is no longer the case which is a shame as this was a nice touch. I had a direct view of a male member of staff working in bar area and unfortunately he was bending up and down frequently with his jeans halfway down his backside. While eating seeing someone's bare backside is very off putting. Not a nice experience. Very disappointing and definitely will not be returning. Such a shame after years of visiting but standards have dropped considerably. Website needs updated as it is misleading and false advertising.
