The best restaurants serving Mexican food in East of England

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to A Differnt Brew: the staff were wonderful, the surroundings lovely, the food was good (including nice gluten-free for a coeliac friend) and the ethos was great. We were a group of friends meeting up from different places and it met our needs perfectly. We look forward to visiting again:-)

We finished here because there is no real Mexican restaurants in Cambridge, but only 10 min away from Cambridge we fell in love with this cosy place with a very tasty food and even a better service. We will definitely come back. Pd: pork tacos is a must!

What a lovely little place, neat and clean, staff were lovely. The best bit was a slice of awesome cake and a cup of coffee. Definitely worth a visit and cake not to be missed

If you like delicious doughnuts and a tasty lunch, treat yourself and get down to Dough Yo’s and Veg Heads. We always go there when we’re in Southend and they never let us down, they offer the best vegan food for miles.

We came in tonight for the first time, table of 8 and we all said we will definitely return. The food was amazing, so tasty and fresh. Lovely service, unfortunately I didn't catch his name but he was so friendly and gave us some great recommendations on what food to order. All the food was delicious and plentiful. Definitely give this restaurant a try. Good value for money too. On the way out we saw that they do a bottomless brunch on a weekend too!

Norwich have the best place for burrito AVO and the owner him self chef. absolutely delicious! Packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and just the right amount of spice. Every bite was satisfying. Definitely one of the best I’ve had in a while!

We recently had the pleasure of ordering takeout from Binit, and it was such a delightful experience. We enjoyed a wonderful mix of quesadilla, Mexican rice, and dips, and I must say, the portions were not only generous but also incredibly delicious. It was thoughtful of Binit to cater to our gluten-free guest, ensuring everyone could enjoy the meal together. Overall, I was truly impressed by how personal and attentive everything felt. Binit Shah was exceptionally professional, making the entire ordering process effortless and enjoyable. I highly recommend Burrito Fusion for anyone looking for a great veggie Mexican food.

Walked the length of Cambridge to go here because it said open at 10am - it's not, it's permanently closed and has been since December 2024. I was with a disabled person and walking that far for nothing wasn't fun - just a warning.

100% fantastic! whole meal was great but the garlic potatoes were a whole new level!

Just tried these guys as I’ve had lots of lovely meals at the restaurant before but was overjoyed to see they do deliveries. Absolutely delicious pizza, properly cocked and zero grease. Never using anyone else again!! Delighted. Only slight remark is that we asked for deep pan but that’s by the by. Can’t wait to have everything on the menu delivered over time :))

Previously gave a 5 star. Quality has dropped significantly since they first opened. Food arrives cold.

I love coming here, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the drinks are incredible. I've still yet to taste my way through the menu!

The food was out of this world very ice indeed....you pay for what you get ....but I wasn't very happy as there added a 15 pounds service charge on the bill ....we are not in America you shouldn't be pressured to pay this charge

I like the food, I have ordered from here numerous times trying their different food and I have had authentic Mexican food in different countries and in the states. Things that I think they could improve on: Salsa - the salsa doesn't taste pleasant and is very bitter. I have always avoided using them, they need to improve their ingredients because the taste is very bad and doesn't taste authentic to any Mex inspired salsa. Burritos - while these don't taste bad, the burrito balance is very different to a traditional Mexican burrito. It has its own take on it which is okay but to make this taste improve they should make it closer to the real thing. The carne asada burrito was also very far from meeting any mark of that of a proper Mexican burrito and didn't taste as pleasant to eat. Overall: salsa and burritos could be better, especially the salsa
