The best restaurants serving Mexican food in East of England

The music got louder and louder which made conversation harder which was shame. Friendly service. Lovely food. Will be coming back.

Visited on a busy Wednesday night. Heard that, unfortunately, this place will be closing soon. Which is a shame because the burritos are amazing - one to share in our case.

Nice place with great food. We had a mix of tacos (Fish Taco and Pastor), tostadas (Tinga and Cochinita) and quesadillas (Pastor and Carne Asada). Flavours are very good. I wouldn't call it authentic but it's very well executed. Nice mix of Mexican beers (Pacifico, Modelo and Corona). The only thing we didn't like was the downstairs floor. There was a funky smell, after a while you get used to it but isn't great, once that gets sorted it's a 5 star place.

Fabulous food and atmosphere. Lovely service from Sienna who was very smiley and welcoming!

Amazing bottomless brunch. Started with a bottle of Prosecco for the table and a free cocktail each as well as a cocktail of our choice. The servers were fantastic throughout our brunch, always at the table asking for our next drinks. The food was delicious as always and we were certainly not short on cocktails! Would highly recommend for anyone who enjoys a decent bottomless brunch. The cocktails are also great, not watered down like they are in other places. Our server Sienna was a star.

Toby was out of this world, absolute legend, I pray all servers can be like this in the future, I don’t think I ever want another server. Whenever I’m stuck I just think what would Toby do, Thank you Toby!!

Had a birthday meal there with friends and it was excellent. The margaritas were fantastic, the food delicious, and the service team had excellent energy and made the evening really really fun. People were talking about it all night - would strongly recommend!

This spot is great for family and friends to visit. I got recommended to this place from one of my close friend and other people to try out, so I decided to go and try it and I have to say it didn't disappoint at all. Everything from the drinks to the food was 10/10 the tacos tasted authentic and the customer service was excellent from Hamim ahmed who served us. I highly recommend this place if your looking for authentic Mexican tacos and food.

Hemos pasado por este pequeño rincón mexicano en Mill Road por algunos meses y finalmente intervinimos. Primera impresión... un lugar sencillo, hogareño... sin pretensiones y exactamente lo que esperaría encontrar en un porro en So. California (pero sin las moscas y el calor opresivo, por supuesto! ). En este día, un martes por la tarde, era una "banda de un solo hombre" y, no muy ocupada. El menú es simple; Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas y Nachos - - todos estos vienen con una selección de carnes o verduras en su nivel preferido de picante. Compartimos el plato de 3 tacos con cerdo tirado y un Burrito "Húmedo" - - que es un burrito servido en un plato con una salsa enchilada encantadora (? ) y crema agria en la parte superior. También añadimos una porción doble de guacamole a nuestro pedido. ¿He mencionado que la salsa es increíble? ¡Ambos fueron increíbles! Realmente delicioso, con la cantidad justa de calor (medio, para nosotros) y condimento. Nuestra comida fue hecha por encargo y muy vibrante y de sabor fresco ... estábamos muy contentos. Volveremos para probar las quesadillas y el "Plato Mexicano", muy pronto!

Booked a table for 5 at half 7 on Friday night. Got there and the restaurant was closed. Had to then wander round Hertford trying to find another restaurant that wasn't fully booked and was taking walk-ins. Had no contact info as their website is under construction, and the opening hours on Google are wrong. Not sure if restaurant has closed down or has been taken over, but probably shouldn't be taking bookings through OpenTable if you aren't open.

Delivery early because they didn't take time to get it correct. Food was only just warm. No chipotle mayo which I'dpaid extra for and no cheese in the burrito's. Very disappointed. If only time had been taken. This was supposed to be a treat.
