Las Iguanas Peterborough in Peterborough

This was a mixed bag of a visit as on the one hand the service, food and cocktails where 5/5 what let it down sadly was how dark the place was for eating( you needed a torch for the menu) and how loud the music was, it felt like you where trying to eat inside a club.

La comida y las bebidas eran encantadoras y sabrosas, pero el servicio era impactante, servidor volcó todas las bebidas en un extremo de la mesa cada vez, no sabía lo que cada bebida era y nos dejaron tamizar para averiguar quién era quién era. Ella no tenía conocimiento de la comida cuando se le pidió recomendaciones y el camarero nos dijo "él nunca comería o bebería aquí"! También fue grosero con la cumpleañera. Tal lástima que el servicio arruinó la experiencia

Visité con mi hijo para el almuerzo del viernes y ambos disfrutamos mucho de nuestras comidas y sin duda recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera que considere algo ligeramente diferente. Tuvimos el menú del almuerzo y nos atendió Paulina que era amable y atento. Nos quedamos sorprendidos por la calidad de la comida y gratamente sorprendidos cuando la factura llegó, ya que representaba una fantástica relación calidad-precio. Restaurante muy limpio y ordenado con personal acogedor y excelente comida - muy recomendable.

Decepcionante después de leer tantas buenas críticas. Llegaron entrantes, todos se veían encantadores. Pensé que mis empanadas estaban calientes hasta que llegué a la mitad de la primera, donde estaba helado. Platos suaves que nos pareció demasiado picante, y el plato picante que pidió mi marido era muy suave! Los cócteles no eran más que hielo picado sin apenas bebida, que no era fácil de beber a través de las pajitas. Pequeñas cosas como, no servilletas en absoluto y no reponer los cubiertos después de los entrantes. Muy caro para alimentos y bebidas de calidad inferior. No volvería

Monica’s service was amazing! Couldn’t of asked for more was always on hand to help with anything we needed constantly making sure our drinks were topped up she’s a true credit to the restaurant.

Bottomless brunch was so good, Cameron served us very quickly and very friendly! We had many rounds of drinks good value for money

Did a bottomless brunch with Kieran starting us off, great service!! Darleen made fanatic drinks and was super quick so our glasses weren't empty for even a minute, making the most of our bottomless. We then had Paulina! Our drinks were divine and service was on point. Customer service was fantastic also which makes all the difference when you know you're being looked after! Would strongly recommend. Thank you for a fantastic time

We chose a Latin restaurant to live the Latin experience which characterizes us worldwide in food and service and the truth is it was not that cool. None of the workers spoke Spanish or Portuguese. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy but only one waiter for the entire restaurant (it is not the waiter's fault obviously but rather the administration's) and the food is zero Latin, the cuts of Argentine meat were not and the churrasco they have on the menu It is neither the cut nor the steak. Much to improve.

The latin music was fantastic, and a cold Corona in the sunshine sat outside. The statue on the roof by Anthony Gormley over the road made a spectacular silhouette in the early afternoon sky. A small reminder of his larger work the Angel of the North.

Our 1st visit to Las Iguanas but it will not be the last. We visited between 5pm and 7pm and had cocktails and selection of tapas on our pre concert at the cathedral visit. We enjoyed the the friendliness of the serving staff and the speed that the food arrived in. The food was amazing, full of flavour and spice. The cocktails spot on. Atmosphere very relaxed. We would recommend to anyone that loves Mexican food and tapas.

Went here for some food , it was almost empty, we was shown to our table and given menus, and that’s it , no one came over to take any orders, and then 25 minutes later we walked out , 6 members of staff in the service side not one of them was interested in serving, what a business plan

Early Saturday evening meal, location wasn't overly busy, we were served promptly, food was very good, and the cocktails mighty fine! I will be going back.

If you have any food intolances, go somewhere else. Just because they claim on their menu that an item can be adapted to suit a dietary requirement doesn't mean they will adapt it. We visited on a busy Saturday when most of the other restaurants in Peterborough were full. Not so Los Iguanas and we soon found out why. I am gluten intolerant, so I ordered a burger that their menu said can be adapted for a gluten-free diet. A few minutes later the waiter came back and said that the chef couldn't make a gluten-free burger. All he had to do was leave the bun out, but apparently he was too arrogant/lazy/inept to do that. So we left and went to another restaurant across the square that could leave the bun off. If you have a food sensitivity, then don't bother going to Los Iguanas.

Bailey was amazing, very happy to have had him serve us ladies we will be coming back again, the drinks were fast well made. Thankyou for having us.

The food was so good! Everyone loved their meals, no complaints. The service was excellent and accommodating. The atmosphere was chilled and quiet, we could hear each other speaking and laughing.

Came here for my birthday, we had a bottomless brunch. Bailey provided incredible service and made our meal. He was honest, attentive, positive and the perfect server you would want for a meal.

Looks more like a canteen than a restaurant... I ordered nachos, cheese was cold and rubbery and not enough salsa! Burritos were bland! Don't have the Mexican, won't be going again.. Waitress was lovely though

Paid a lunchtime visit for the first time earlier this week. Really enjoyed the colourful tasty food.....and the 2 for 1 drinks!!! But best of all was the beautiful intelligent waitress, Ava. She is a credit to the place. Good luck in all that she does in her future with animals

Absolutely delighted with my recent visit to Las Iguanas in Peterborough! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed warmly by the team. Our waiter, Niesha, provided exceptional service throughout our meal, making sure we were well taken care of. I ordered the chicken burger, which turned out to be too spicy for my taste. When I mentioned this, Niesha and the manager on duty acted promptly and professionally. They quickly resolved the issue by preparing a new burger that was just perfect. The entire experience was fantastic, and I left the restaurant feeling very pleased. A big thank you to Niesha and the manager for turning a potential issue into a positive dining experience. I'll definitely be returning soon!

Sometimes you get a good waiter who fires out the drink for fun .....and sometimes you get Cameron who " only brings you drink if you leave a good review". Bailey was a good server tho, 5 stars to him.

Time is money, friends, and Las Iguanas respects that. They respect it well. And the staff? I've got to hand it to them; they're top-notch. Always serving up smiles with the orders, they're friendly, they're helpful, and they've got this dedication to their work that you can't help but admire. The service and overall atmosphere were good. However the food is extremely underwhelming especially considering the price - felt like pre-made microwaved food. It is a known practice for chain restaurants, but I expected better from here. Maybe it depends what you order, but the best part for us was dessert which is hard to mess up.

Jaden/Jordan and Nikol were amazing they looked after us suggested drinks etc and even when we ordered the very drink they said not to get we were able to return and exchange for another. Great service they know their menu and were soo helpful. They even double checked that we wanted our steak well done and suggested we get medium as it gets tough when over cooked. My friend said his steak was AMAZING. Starters: chicken wings, beef quesadillas. Mains: Mixed Grill and beef and chorizo burger with sweet potato fries. Drinks: Daquari and Caipirinha Loved the food, take their suggestions seriously loool don’t be like us😂🤣 thank you guys!!!!

Had the mixed fajitas: steak, chicken and prawns served fresh, hot off the grill with a cocktail to wash it down. Great service from our waitress all very friendly. Highly recommended if you haven’t been give it a try.

Most of the food was good. One meal had to be sent back as it was cold, then brought back when most meals were nearly finished. Cocktails were lovely. We had two steak fajita meals and a nachos added to our bill that we didn’t order which totalled to over an extra £50 on the bill. We then struggled to get the server to come over so we could dispute this. There was also no reduction for the cold food and no apology either.

Niesha made sure we had a good experience. And she’s a lovely waitress.

We popped in for a drink after a meal elsewhere. The atmosphere was amazing, the cocktails were delicious (and 2for1). The staff were really welcoming, especially Monika. We will definitely be visiting again soon.
