Went for a valentine's meal. I had naked burritos which was ok. It was just warm and the chillies were way too hot which completely spoiled it. My husband had taste of Brazil chicken that was basically a poor chicken korma. The Pinacolada had no alcohol in it at all.

A really good bottomless brunch, Paulina was a brilliant and fast server, every detail was correct even our food changes, a 10/10 experience and would recommend and will be back !!

I ordered from here on Tuesday and the burrito was out of this world, so good I decided to order it again tonight (Thursday) but oh my. it was like it was from a different restaurant entirely. The wraps were mostly boil in the bag rice with cheese and barely any beef or guacamole (despite asking for double of both) the Korean chicken wrap was just as dreadful with both essentially being the same wrap of rice and cheese. Will not be ordering from here again as I don't wish to gamble on what quality of food I will get. Also, kick ass burritos are actually Las Iguanas in case anyone is confused as to where they are in Peterborough.

ordered the bottomless tapas. food was underwhelming and took almost 30 minutes for the first lot of food to arrive, and around 20 minutes for the second round. it took 15 mins for drinks to arrive, and when they did, they were of a poor quality and taste was not pleasant. staff were nice, except from spilling drinks on us, yet that was an accident.

Very good we had 35 off small menu, but think your better off with the other menu more food staff lovely a friendly we enjoyed it very much xxxx

Made an order online via deliveroo under the kick ass burrito alias they use , we only received half the order missing 2 burritos chips and other bits. Tried calling the place 12 times to advise but not a single person answered the phone. Not what you expect when placing an almost £60 food order!

Tapas was really good value for money with various selection, although some cocktails and food were not available. Excellent service, David and Paulina have been very attentive. Will be coming back.

Cocktails are delicious good quality - bogof at £13 mocktails also available Fajitas were average perhaps a bit gravy and with out a coupon overpriced Nice music/ atmosphere Update from 2024 Was disappointed with the taste of the delicious sounding mocktails so maybe a few adjustments needed on the recipe of the strawberry one I tried - kudos to you for offering a nice selection though two for £7 is a fair price Went for Tapas offer yesterday that was delicious lots of options on offer £15 per person all you can eat offer on til mid February 25

Food is really good There is one person who is not providing good service. Not accepting blue light card or not accepting any offers which was in the las iguanas app Instead saying these offers cannot be accepted. If there is an offer they should accept it. Otherwise don't advertise it.

A very nice restaurant, it is worth taking a bottomles brunch where the price includes one dish and unlimited drinks for two hours. Klaudia served us and made sure that we lacked nothing. Nice and professional service 👏👏👏

We have ordered the shared platter apparently for 2-3 people but it looked like it was a platter for just one person.

Muy mal servicio lento y éramos los únicos que estábamos allí! Comida seca que se servía tibia y se enviaba de vuelta. Regresó dos minutos después después de obviamente ser sometido a microondas. Lo que en nombre de Dios es un restaurante reconocido con microondas en su cocina. Nunca volverá.

This was a mixed bag of a visit as on the one hand the service, food and cocktails where 5/5 what let it down sadly was how dark the place was for eating( you needed a torch for the menu) and how loud the music was, it felt like you where trying to eat inside a club.

La comida y las bebidas eran encantadoras y sabrosas, pero el servicio era impactante, servidor volcó todas las bebidas en un extremo de la mesa cada vez, no sabía lo que cada bebida era y nos dejaron tamizar para averiguar quién era quién era. Ella no tenía conocimiento de la comida cuando se le pidió recomendaciones y el camarero nos dijo "él nunca comería o bebería aquí"! También fue grosero con la cumpleañera. Tal lástima que el servicio arruinó la experiencia

Visité con mi hijo para el almuerzo del viernes y ambos disfrutamos mucho de nuestras comidas y sin duda recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera que considere algo ligeramente diferente. Tuvimos el menú del almuerzo y nos atendió Paulina que era amable y atento. Nos quedamos sorprendidos por la calidad de la comida y gratamente sorprendidos cuando la factura llegó, ya que representaba una fantástica relación calidad-precio. Restaurante muy limpio y ordenado con personal acogedor y excelente comida - muy recomendable.

The food was delightful! The atmosphere was very welcoming but most of all my waitress Rosie! She was so friendly! So welcoming and accommodating. She was so fantastic it felt like we were friends!! I’ll definitely be going back!!

Decided to go for here for my first time for my Birthday this weekend. After hearing a few bad reviews when they first opended, I decided to give this place a chance…what a bad decision that was. First of all, we sat down and no waitress came over to take our order. We had to get up and ask someone to serve us. Finally someone came and we ordered our food and drinks, 20 mins later and no drinks. Food then came out and was given no cutlery. Our drinks came by the time we had finished our food, half an hour later. Also 1 napkin for 4 of us, left our menus on the table and no one asked us how our food was. Once finished we waited again for someone to bring us our bill…again no one came and we had to go to the bar and ask if we could pay. Not sure if they are understaffed. Servers were friendly despite this and food 6/10.

Maybe it's due to the poor quality standards set by the chef manager and the staff, but every time I ordered at the restaurant, the wait was excessively long—and the same happened with home delivery, with the food even arriving burnt. Nice place for margaritas and to sit, though

Food wasn't the best in this Mexican place

Reallllyyy busy apparently.. was turned away for a table for 2 because they were taking reservations only! Nobody inside AND NOT ONE person outside the place.. LOL please check out my photo compared to Turtle Bay across the street. Turtle Bay as you can see is rammed inside/out in the photo and I got a table, no problem.. (If you are stupidly running reservations only on a Saturday night. Take in all your signage outside if you don’t want customers)

Decepcionante después de leer tantas buenas críticas. Llegaron entrantes, todos se veían encantadores. Pensé que mis empanadas estaban calientes hasta que llegué a la mitad de la primera, donde estaba helado. Platos suaves que nos pareció demasiado picante, y el plato picante que pidió mi marido era muy suave! Los cócteles no eran más que hielo picado sin apenas bebida, que no era fácil de beber a través de las pajitas. Pequeñas cosas como, no servilletas en absoluto y no reponer los cubiertos después de los entrantes. Muy caro para alimentos y bebidas de calidad inferior. No volvería

This restaurant is in a nice location in the city - the cathedral square. The management team and staff are great people who will go the extra mile to make customers feel welcome and looked after. The Team is led by the GM - Anna, who is passionate about customer service and always goes the extra mile to ensure customers under her and the teams care are well looked after, accompanied by great customer service that is next to none. Anna is passionate about customer service. She wants all her customers to have a great service and an excellent customer experience at the restaurant. She's leading her team by example. The DM - Paulinna is a credit to the team dynamic in the restaurant. She, like Anna and the entire staff team they lead, are all passionate about customer service and going the extra mile for their customers. The food here is great and really nice. There's a great selection of drinks to accompany your food or after your food. Great selection of cocktails, wine, spirits, and many more. I don't like this place. I love it!

Just came back from bottomless brunch and the service was shocking got served 4 drinks in the space of 2 hours might aswell not bothered to drink, overall the food was great but will not be returning and do not recommend for a place to get drunk at

I love Mexican food and on entering the building I was really looking forward to the experience, we were greeted by a friendly waitress who showed us to our table and a few minutes later our drinks arrived and orders were taken. We were a group of three adults and one child, school summer holidays, 2.00pm on a Monday At the time the place was very quiet, three other tables were in use, all groups of four. We skipped starters and went straight for main courses. Our food took 40 minutes to arrive, after 30 minutes I think the waitress heard me comment about the delay as she came over to apologise. I went for the mixed Fajitas, chicken, steak and prawn. The steak was truly awful, full of fat and impossible to eat in a fajita, the prawns arrive still with tails and shell, trying to peel it off after it’s been grilled is messy and tricky, the chicken was nice, I should have stuck to just chicken. The cost was £20.50 for this dish, you get three prawns, lots of fried vegetables and very little meat. The kids meal came with a desert, we were told they were out of Churros (Mexican eatery running out of their most famous desert) that left cookie dough or Ice Cream as the alternatives. I wouldn’t rush back as I don’t feel we had value for money

Paulina gave very fast service, the drinks are very nice and with the bottomless brunch were served so that we never had to wait, the food tasted very similar to genuine food from South and central America, the Tacos better than native mexican ones

If I could rate less than 1 star, I would! Steer clear of this place at all costs and find an establishment that values your hard-earned money. When my party of 4 visited this establishment on 10/08/2024, we were met with nothing short of abysmal service. We waited for at least 20 minutes before anyone bothered to take our order. To make matters worse, our starter took an additional 45 minutes to arrive, and when it finally did, it was served cold, clearly indicating that it had been left sitting out. What's more, not a single member of the staff bothered to check on us or ask if we needed anything else once our food was delivered. We had to hunt down a staff member at the end of the night just to ask for the bill, and when we finally got it, we noticed they tried to charge us around £14 for a cocktail that nobody at our table had even ordered. If you do decide to visit, be sure to scrutinize your bill and don't blindly pay, as you could easily fall victim to fraud. The people I was with mentioned that this wasn't an isolated incident and sadly is a recurring problem every time they visit this establishment. Without a doubt, I will boycott this Peterborough branch in the future.

Took over an hour for food. Others arrived later and received food. Apologies from the staff. Food was over cooked. Feel bad for the staff that have to face the customers, cool staff needs to revisit their processes.
