The food was very excellent the owner and staff were very lovely and nice people i dont usually like tacos but was incredibly nice

I stumbled on Mr Taco by chance - they have a very popular food truck and have recently opened a fixed location. It's just as good as the food truck. The food is just fantastic - I had the roasted vegetables Mr Taco - and it has a really fun, street food vibe. The staff are lovely, too. I'll definitely be back.

As a Californian living in the UK, I have to say that this is not only truly great and authentic Mexican food by any standard, but is some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I did not know that I would be able to have a burrito mojado (wet) outside of the USA. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, even for those not familiar with Mexican food. This is the real deal. I’ve lived in Cambridge for 6 years and wish I’d known about them sooner.

Delicious Mexican food - very friendly service and amazing guacamole! Caters for Gluten Free! Would recommend to anyone looking for authentic street food.

Hearty Mexican Food that tastes great. Whole Street Food vibe going on in the restaurant. The loaded nachos was lovely and the chilli con carne tacos very filling and tasty. My wife's Tacos with chicken and chorizo were particular good.

I have just been too Mr Tacos with my husband and daughter and was nicely surprised! the food was good and the cook was very friendly. i ordered the Tijuana tacos and some guacamole on the side with nachos . the guacamole was sublime! I will be back!

This guy knows his stuff, any meal will take you straight to flavour town. Staff are friendly and polite. Can't wait to go back! Thank you Mr taco.

Ate here yesterday at their new restaurant on Mill Rd. Was excited to see a new Mexican place but the food was quite disappointing, enchilada was a pile of microwaved slop with little flavour, and at 10 quid for a small size, not exactly cheap. My boyfriends burrito was a little better but really not worth the 10 pounds either. Best thing was the tiny amount of gauc I got with my enchilada, I don't think I'll be returning here unfortunately

Very average. I would compare the standard of the food to that which you receive in a Mexican chain restaurant. If you are looking for something a bit special, I would steer clear.

Picked up an order of 2 burritos from Tacos van at The Plough at Gt Shelford tonight. Home within 10 minutes, unwrap our foiled food to find luke warm, particularily worrying as contains chicken and rice! Would not recommend.

Had a lovely walk to Ely market this Sunday and decided to have lunch at this place. Had the chicken tacos with habanero salsa. Excellent quality ingredients and good value. Filled us up too. Will definitely be coming back for more...

Having been here from Canada for almost 9 years My wife and I randomly stopped into the Ely market. It was there we discovered Mr Taco and what a find it was. We can always tell how great a place is by the queue of people waiting, and we were not disappointed. The flavours and freshness of our burritos were top notch and HIGHLY recommend Mr Taco. The service was welcoming and friendly.

Great food and service, highly recommend. Ordered six different items and all of them were great. Will be back.

We’d eaten here a couple of times and thought it was alright. The quesadillas, while tasty, absolutely drip with fat that solidifies into something resembling lard which is pretty off-putting but the chap serving puts them together with a few nachos, some salsa & a little sour cream on the side and it’s decent. Our last visit wasn’t good. Two different chaps serving, taking a long time with the person ahead of us in the queue so we waited, patiently. At that point we were the only other two in the queue until another couple joined to the side of us and the chap serving went to take their order, completely ignoring us. The couple pointed out we were before them and I said that we had been standing, waiting to be served for a while before the latest couple arrived. He wasn’t happy. I got a very sarcastic, over the top apology for the very long time I had been there which wasn’t wanted or needed and was then referred to as ‘madame’ after every question. All rather OTT. The result? We received burnt quesadillas and all the mini sides that the other chap just provides were put in plastic pots and charged as extras. The food was shoved at us with another profuse & sarcastic apology. I would occasionally eat there again, but only if those two surly chaps weren’t serving.

Don't often write reviews but just had a great meal from Mr Taco and had to comment. Food was excellent and really authentic and the price was really reasonable. Would highly recommend.

El burrito tenía los ingredientes normales de un burrito pero no tenía ese sabor mexicano que todos asociamos con un burrito.Desafortunadamente, este lugar fue una gran decepción para mí.
