Las Iguanas - Centre Parcs Elveden in Forest Heath

We ate out every day during our Center Parcs stay (Bella Italia, Hucks and Forsters Inn) and overall Las Iguanas was the best main meal (with the exception of Pancake House) but still not anything outstanding. Portion size was decent and the food tasted pretty nice, but it was fairly standard, nothing special. It was a bit on the expensive side but all the restaurants are there. The food was brought over by a little novelty machine which was very entertaining! The main downside of this restaurant is that there were long wait times to have our drinks/food order taken and an even longer wait time for someone to take payment when the restaurant wasn't exceptionally busy. The food itself didn't take too long to arrive, but we waited almost half an hour to be able to pay the bill.... There was also an added optional 7.5% service charge (which is applied at all restaurants across Center Parcs) which would have taken even longer to get this removed so we reluctantly paid this one as we just wanted to get going. There was one waitress working in there called Jess who was the only one who seemed to be doing any work, she was amazing and was tending to all the tables (about 6/7 in total) where as the other two waitresses (one that I believed might have been a manager as she was dressed in different uniform) just kept standing round at the tills not doing much and both of them went outside for half an hour separately, leaving Jess to do all the work... Even when we eventually managed to ask for our bill, the woman I believed to be manager gave our dirty plates to Jess to clear even though Jess was already doing so much. Jess was really lovely and seemed like a very hard worker so I would like to give credit to her.

Went for lunch and left feeling like I’d been robbed. 2 adult mains and a couple of alcoholic drinks plus a couple of kids meals came to £90 and that included a “service charge” of £6.40. Then you are asked how much tip you’d like to leave?? Get real. You’ve already ripped me off. Which was a shame as the waitress was the one decent aspect of the meal. She was patient and made an effort. The food was average and very stingy portions. I had maybe 3 stringy bits of chicken in a chimichanga and the kids had anaemic looking plates with barely any chips. The kids veg chilli was awful and reheated from a week ago. The “extra” chips we were encouraged to get cost £5 and came in basically an egg cup. Needless to say, first and last visit . I don’t mind paying decent money if the effort and value is there. This place is having a laugh frankly. It’s the usual centre parcs nonsense - captive audience mentality of overcharge and underdeliver. Top tip - Bring your own stuff, make your own Mexican food, it will be twice as authentic, half the price and taste a lot better. You will have to supply your own robot waiter however.

4th visit here and normally we love it But tonight was not great. Starters was a real mixed bunch, the nachos tasted old or stale but the wings and taco were very nice (the nachos toppings were good too) The mains was a bit of a wash out, except the chimeychaggers (which were apparently great) The rest of the table had chilli, the hot Brazilian curry and burritos. (Burrito was £18, photo attached) Some food had to go back as it was cold and the others lack flavour, overly mains were underwhelming. Real shame as the atmosphere was good, a real buzz about it, kids loved the hats and robots and staff seemed nice. But you go out for food and when that’s not on the mark is a let down esp when it’s rather pricey. Which I don’t mind at all for good food, but tonight this wasn’t. Unfortunately the family vibe was next year visit wouldn’t include a trip to this restaurant, shame really Little things need keeping on top off toilets needed some tlc with broken toilet seat, broken door and generally needed checking on for tidiness during evening. Glass ware was very mucky when drinks came, needed deep clean or glass machine looking at. Menus were very yucky. Just overall let it’s self down compared to normal centre parc standards.

Excellent food service to match, was served by Kat and I must say she made our trip. She was the epitome of 5 star service. Food was also excellent and the chef Hugo stopped and ask how our meal was, a nice touch.

This place is amazing i love the atmosphere! the staff is great especially our waitress Kat. She was very patient with us when we ordered as we are very fussy eaters but she didn't make us feel rushed at all. would definitely come back and would 100% recommend! 👍

The food here is delicious and the robots do add a little fun to the meal. It was nice and cool in the restaurant which is so nice when its baking outside. Service was very attentive

We’ve been to a number of Las Iguanas over the years, but the service here has been the best. Jade was our waitress and was fantastic. The food was delicious and arrived quickly, we didn’t have to wait long for our cocktails either. Best Las Iguanas experience in a long time and renewed our faith in the brand after a few average visits to other locations in the past.

Poor service from staff, was left waiting 20 minutes for the card machine and 30 minutes for our plates to be taken away. Calamari for the price of £8 was one piece with a couple crumbs of batter - really disappointing Would not recommend

Me and my family came to las iguanas for dinner on a day at centre parcs and i can not fault it at all! The atmosphere in the restaurant was amazing, the staff were friendly and so helpful, we loved every second of it! The food was very yummy and lots of choice for all dietary requirements. The lady that served us and dealt with us the whole time was incredible she took the time to speak to our children and not just us she helped them in choosing their food and was just all round lovely, the two lady managers on shift where fantastic when it came to dealing with my fussy 4 year old who doesn't eat a lot and can become very distressed in places that are busy however they made her experience one that was enjoyable for the whole family it was stress free and i cant wait to go back

This is my favorite restaurant in Centre parks. First of all the food was all magnificent and had lots of rich and delicious flavor. The place it’s self was excellent and very much so happy. Course the restaurant had great staff who were very kind and welcoming and the Robotic waiters were nice and quick around the restaurant. I recommend this place a lot is you want to eat out in Centre parks! Go here ! 5 Huge stars!!!!

First time writing a review. Atmosphere was good, popular place but food was pretty terrible and so expensive! This restaurant would not survive if not in a centreparcs site. Went to Rajinda Pradesh on this site and it was superb. One of the best curries we ve ever had. Just can’t compare the two.

Enjoyed the food and cocktails. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The tropical ambience of the restaurant was fun. The manager and staff were attentive to our ordering and even suggested ideas to try from the menu ; when one of our party was vegetarian. I have visited centre Parcs a number of times and would recommend the law iguanas restaurant there.

Had a great experience. Great food and amazing service. Good portion sizes. Wicked cocktail list as well. Would like to give special praise to Lorraine who was our server. Nothing was to much. She juggled well between us and a few other tables. A real credit to the team

We were so glad we chose Las Iguanas for our first night at Elveden, Center Parcs. From the warm greeting on arrival to the great fun atmosphere, the wonderfully extensive Latin American menu, the whole experience was perfect! Our waiter Claudio looked after us superbly, with great attention to detail. He took great care of my dietary requirements and made sure everything was perfect. One of the highlights was an amazing talking robot waiter called Bruno which or should I say who, has to be seen to be believed! The kids of course adored him! A perfect end to a brilliant day!

We arrived when it opened at 12 so we were the first guests and had great service from the waiter. He was very friendly and helpful. We both had burgers and fries (curly fries and sweet potato fries) and the burgers tasted very good indeed. The nachos to start with were very nice, and beautifully presented.

Family dinner on a Sunday night...restaurant was about half full but service a little slow at the tables and the bar (understaffed we think)...drinks came out after starters. Food was OK...burgers were good...fajitas were not...bit of a mixed bag. As with all Centerparcs restaurants, its expensive so you expect good food... I don't think we'd return when we come back to Centerparcs.

Gus was an amazing waiter. He made us feel welcome, he is friendly and very professional. Our food was lovely and the service he provided made it a very pleasurable evening

The food is gorgeous here! As are the drinks , the mojito I ordered was perfect and so refreshing! The restaurant experience was really cool as your food is bought to your table by a robot! Shoutout to Rachel! Nothing was too much trouble and she was very polite and efficient. 10/10 would deffo come back!

First time last time! Discount scammers! Whilst enjoying a lovely stay at Centerparcs my wife decided to search for lunch, finding the link of Las Iguanas which linked onto the app. She then downloaded the app and entered the closest restaurant which was on site in Centerparcs and then activated the discounts only to find on production of the Bill no discounts are offered on site at CenterParcs. Staff helpful and apologetic yet area manager who was on site didn’t bother coming to assist or explain situation. Very poor PR stunt to get people through the door with promise of discount only to be refused. If offers are not available on site why are they visible when you select the on site restaurant and allow you to activate also giving you a timeframe then to use them. No details on site about refusal of offers. Food average at best, don’t bother!

What a lovely restaurant. Such friendly staff, food was devine. Their burger was so delicious we'd wished we had found at the beginning of our stay, the mixed grill was also delicious, my partner could only just manage to finish it. Same for my daughter's meal hunters chicken (there take on it), pudding went down a treat also. They serve Thatchers cider so that was us for a few hours. Couldn't recommend it highly enough..

We had lunch here with our friends and between us we had 4 children and 5 adults. My son particularly wanted sausages for lunch having been pining them for 2 days but there wasn't any on the menu. Asking one of the waiters if there's any possibility he offered to purchase them from a nearby restaurant and serve them as part of a meal. My son and I were so thankful and it just proves they're service goes above and beyond!! Everyone enjoyed their meal, food was amazing and our children loved the robots bringing the food. Fantastic place and very welcoming!

Visited on New Year’s Eve at 430pm so was nice and quiet for my young children. First of all i want to point out the service was excellent . I was starving hungry couldn’t decide so went for the mixed grill for £27 thought that would be filling !! 2 small sticks of meat and 2 thin slices chorizos and a portion of fries absolute robbery!!! I know the cost of living and all that but have a word ! Partners meal has to go back as rice around her main dish was sloppy and cold , she didn’t eat hers either . Luckily we could eat the kids chicken burgers and beef burger as they were quite nice tbf as I was still hungry after my mixed grill . We have been on 2 other occasions and service has been great and food has been good . Just choose on the menu wisely and if possible do a table tour and see what other people’s food looks like and ask for a taste ! unless you want a weight watchers mixed grill . But I will still come back again as that’s the only restaurant with available tables ! I wonder why .

Had a wonderful evening at las iguanas. Struggled to get a table at the other restaurants and Toby was very accommodating with fitting us in. The restaurant was very cheerful and all the staff was more the helpful. Food and drinks were great.

Very slow service, food took ages to come without explanation. Others came and went much more quickly. No apology. Food average, not great for children. Wouldn’t recommend.

Walking away from a lovely, relaxing and friendly meal. A perfect end to a great break at Centre Parc. The excellent service provided by Emma Hall added to the pleasure of this meal, along with her fellow colleagues.

The drinks were great, atmosphere was good, food was OK but our experience was made by our lovely waitress Joana who made such a fuss of our daughter and couldn't have been more helpful and kind with her.
