Breddos Tacos has been an asset to the neighbourhood since it opened in 2016. We're blessed to have Breddos' consistently excellent food, service and ambience. Definitely try the sea bass zaraneado from the current specials menu.

it is a chain restaurant but still they make very authentic Mexican dishes in a very casual setting, very good tacos.

I can’t comment on atmosphere because we had a delivery. But from the moment I called the restaurant to the moment it was delivered it was a shambles. This was our first time ordering and using the 25% welcome discount. I double checked we could use this over the phone before ordering and it was confirmed. I worked out our order before the discount would be £30.50. We ordered x1 lamb korma, x1 lamb madras, x2 keema rice, x1 onion bhaji and x1 keema naan. Told 15-20 mins. Our order was repeated back to us and he said it’ll be £28. I questioned if that was with the 25% discount and he said yes. So I assumed maybe a hefty delivery fee or the menu prices were incorrect? Anyway, as you can see from the receipt (I cut off my address) the order was completely wrong and charged at £23.61 (we paid £28 cash). It took nearly an hour to arrive. We called back to query our missing items and that we received the wrong curry’s. The lamb korma was chicken and the madras was something completely different, no bhajis and a missing rice. We were told 10 minutes and very sorry. 20-25 minutes passed and this is now ridiculous. Also, every time we called and the person on the other end would say “I’ll double check to is for you” would hang up each time and not return the call so we had to call again. They eventually blocked our numbers! 2 hours ish from the initial phone call to order the rest of our order arrived with a complimentary “sorry” can of coke. The food was actually very bland and we didn’t finish it. Never ever again. Poor service, poor food and poorly organised. Yes we tried to address this over the phone. And, to be fair, they asked us to leave a review … so here we are.

Had an amazing meal of nachos, cocktails, burritos and churros. Georgina was a fabulous hostess. I am gutted to hear the restaurant will be closing, I adore coming and will be sad not to be able to come again.

The hot chocolate was delicious, some can be watery this was perfect. Great range of produce here too, quirky decor and friendly staff.

Really disappointed with last nights meal the quality and service has drastically deteriorated. Been coming here for 22 years and was our go to restaurant in Plymouth. Service wise- poor choice of drinks due to most not being available. Only draught lager was Carlsberg (which was also the case last time we visited many months before). My wife wanted a glass of Merlot but was told house wine only- funny that it’s the same price as the more expensive wines that were unavailable- much like the lager (Carlsberg at the unavailable San Miguel price)! Should have been a warning sign when the restaurant was so cold (no heating?) and the menus were paper copies with the christmas menus on them. Wasn’t offered any sauces (used to always get offered a selection of chillis sauces- they used have a vast selection but recently had encona only with a bottle even having its £1 price label still left On it). The starter chilli potato skin was dry and tough to cut, like it had been frozen and microwaved. The mains were awful. Had chicken enchiladas dozens of times at this restaurant but the quality has really slipped. Had a strong taste of aniseed/liquirice like supermarket meals and the meat was like the small pieces you get in the cold meat Selection at a supermarket. They used to make such a great enchiladas with shredded chicken breast. Such a disappointment this is no longer the case. To wrap it up my wife had a long hair wrapped around her chips. We paid up and left leaving no tip for the first time ever leaving this restaurant disappointed. Such a shame will miss this place for what it used to be!

Vicky was great, was very attentive and helpful, the food was excellent and served quickly. Over all was a good experience and would highly recommend

We've been going here for years and it's always been good food, some times you have to wait a bit as staff changes quite alot we went yesterday and ordered 4 mojitos and they were the worst, just soda water a glass of crushed ice and mint and that's how it tasted, we complained and they took them away and when they came back you could taste the bacardi but no lime or sugar syrup simply the worst cocktail and they put an extra £18 on the bill at the end for the extra bacardi, we won't be going back

The service was quick, the food was fantastic and staff are very friendly. Strongly recommend going here for first class food.

Only visited for pre cinema drinks last night and the service by Steve was fantastic! He always ensured we were well taken care of and promptly. Very welcoming and chatty!

Salir a cenar se trata de toda la experiencia, no solo la comida. Así que la comida era buena para ser justos, todos en nuestra familia disfrutamos de ella sabrosa y servida con prontitud. El personal era bueno, amable y atento excepto uno , el gerente / propietario que estaba decidido a discutir y ser grosero con casi todos . Cómo alguien trabaja para él está más allá de mí. Le sugiero que se mueva él mismo desde delante de casa, tal vez debería encargarse de limpiar los baños ya que eran asquerosos. ¿Volvería? NO! El restaurante ahora se llama Tapatito
