Chipotle in City of London, Westminster

Very disappointed with my first experience at Chipotle. The servers were visibly stressed and did not listen to the customer and were not very understanding of people who did not understand their accent in English. I was not able to choose what I wanted to eat. It was impossible to ask them to wait a few seconds so that my bilingual friend could finish his order and help me move mine forward; IT HAS TO MOVE ON! When there was no one behind us...

This is my first time eating chipotle, and it’s quite delicious.

“Excellent Chipotle Experience on Baker Street!” The Chipotle on Baker Street never disappoints. The team here is friendly, fast, and always gets my order just right. The ingredients are fresh, and the portions are generous—exactly what you want from a Chipotle. I usually go for the chicken bowl with brown rice, black beans, corn salsa, and guac, and it’s always flavorful and satisfying. The restaurant is clean, well-run, and a great spot for a quick and tasty meal. Definitely one of the better locations I’ve been to!

I recently visited Chipotle on Baker Street in London and had a great experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly, just as you’d expect from Chipotle. The restaurant was clean and well-organized, making for a pleasant dining atmosphere. The service was excellent, with the staff being friendly and efficient. The manager, Mithil, was particularly welcoming and ensured everything ran smoothly. It’s always nice to see a team that takes pride in their work and makes customers feel valued. Overall, a solid spot for a tasty and convenient meal. I’ll definitely be back!

Do not go here. I have never seen a group of people less qualified for their job all in one place. Three separate people worked on my burrito. I just wanted a normal, run-of-the-mill steak burrito. No sides, no special requests, no extra, not in any hurry. They could barely speak, repeating questions (“do you want rice? Do you want rice? Do you want rice? Do you want rice?) after already been given an answer. Had to switch people halfway through because apparently food delivery takes precedence, so they stopped making my food, switched, and added twice the rice, then ignored me when I tried to ask to just remove it. Next girl just didn’t listen to a word I said, and only mentioned the guacamole she added was extra she had lazily thrown it in the general direction of my burrito. Fine, whatever. I knew it was extra, so that’s fine, but what’s the point of informing after you’ve splashed it half in my tortilla and half on your forearm and wrist? Finally the last girl who went to roll it hasn’t rolled a burrito in her life. I wouldn’t be surprised if she even understood conceptually what “rolling” as an action even is. I would not be surprised if she was a stand-in for 15 minutes from the gyro place down the street, having no perception that this was in-fact a Mexican restaurant she was working in. She sort of stuck her fingers halfway inside my burrito, then instead of rolling, sort of just gripped it tightly as if trying to hold onto a ledge for fear of falling off. Completely tore open the side of the burrito, then as if pulling herself up from the ledge, pushed down on the burrito, completely destroying whatever hope there was of rolling any of the contents into what was left of the tortilla. She called it a day, rolled the foil up and tossed in in a bag and rung me up. I paid, because I couldn’t bring myself to try to communicate with this person again. I walked across the store, opened my bag and saw half of it full of rice that had poured out everywhere because the gyro-stand-in-girl apparently had never seen foil wrap either. I tossed it in the trash and left. There are other Mexican food places in London. There are even other Chipotles. Whatever you do, go to literally anywhere else. You will be happier for it.

Staff are good, quicker than the slow customers. The burrito tasted good and it’s a healthy size. At £9.30 it’s on the steep side but it was fine.

Excellent service. Meeta and Mithil were amazing — very friendly, fast, and professional. The location was very clean and well-run. Great experience overall.

I come here every Thursday for my mid-morning Breakfast. Really disappointed this morning, to sit downstairs and all I heard were the two employees arguing with each other upstairs. Really ruined my experience this time - please sort.

Will not be going there again after finding meat bones in my vegetarian burrito bowl. This has happened on at least 2 occasions.

Ive lived in the USA so i know chipolte but this chipolte is a let down. The portion sizes that they want to put in your bowl is flat out a shame. I had to keep asking for more rice..beans..asked for half n half chicken and beef shaking off the spooon just to get one piece of meat off..then she said to me the bowl wont shut if she puts more stuff.i said in the USA the bowls are overflowing and it still closes. Customer services needs working on as well. To the servers..people as for more stuff..load up the bowls..we are paying for it. Food was good but will try another chipolte.

The perfect American experience.

Me encantan los Burritos de Chipotle. El personal es muy amable. No es barato, pero siempre me llena y me deja con una sonrisa. He probado la competencia, pero Chipotle en Baker Street simplemente sabe mejor. El personal parece quedarse durante bastante tiempo y muchos en realidad saludan a sus habituales.

Absolutamente espantoso el servicio, le ladraron de principio a fin, no pudieron escuchar una palabra de lo que decían que estaban hablando tan rápido. Me sentí muy hostil especialmente por la mujer en la caja, me pidió bebidas tres veces y no me oyeron. Entonces esta horrible mujer nos dijo que nos apresuráramos a pagar y luego ordenarán las bebidas (¿realmente raro? Insistí en que no quiero las bebidas como parte de la misma transacción y le dije que dejara de ser tan grosera con la gente. Nunca volvería a esta sucursal. La única gracia salvadora fue que la comida era agradable.

I ordered a veggie burrito bowl with salsas and vegetable. They sent me a bowl with only rice and beans. The girl on the phone had the audacity to argue with me saying I did not put the details in my order, despite reading out the order which included the salsas.

50£ for cold, tasteless food and missing items. Don’t order from here, it’s absolute garbage.

Been ages since I last went to Chipotle, went for Chicken Burrito. Tastes great, but was a bit too much rice which fell out of burrito. But Good all around

your food was disgusting. we ordered 4 bowls and got almost nothing in them. portions too small. even with double meat too little. rice cold and in lumps. ice beans. I repeat the meat in traces. sauces?? they don't exist. from accessories: green salad and cheese??? where is the tomato, pico de gayo, onion and other things?? extremely disappointing considering that we came straight from the flight to chipotle to try the food. I didn't even look at the restaurant. not to mention the £47 price tag

Portions are TINYYYY!!!! Even tho the flavors are better than the states. Portions are really really tiny.

This is the second time I have been to chipotle. Got a bowl with tortilla chips and guacamole and a fountain drink. It was £20! That's more than what I usually get from five guys! The portion sizes were pretty tiny especially given that I paid £20 for a bowl, tortilla chips and guacamole and a fountain drink. The food is really good though! Overall, just go to taco bell or somewhere else in baker Street.

Bought quesadilla which turned out to be one tiny taco with a tiny amount of chicken and unmelted cheese with “sides” - see photo. £9.30 And taste was awful and salty. Ate the sides, binned the “main” part of meal. Order was late for pickup. Bathrooms were all out of order.

Super good food. Large burrito with delicious vegetarian filling. Their guacamole is really good! The service was friendly and really fast.

It use to be a good place to eat but now the employees let the door open which is cold. Both toilet are out of order. The food seems to be less fresh than before

Ice cold food. I understand that the burrito isn’t going to be piping hot with salad and guacamole. But the meat and rice should at least be WARM. Service was bad also, asian lady with glasses is aggrieved to have to do her job. Glaring and huffing the entire time, feels like you’re offending her by ordering at all. Portions are not standardised neither. The gentleman after me didn’t order extra meat yet had double the amount my scoop of meat had.

We were very happy when we accidentally discovered Chipotle in London, because we liked it very much in New York.

I recently had a disappointing experience at Chipotle that I feel compelled to share. The service was lackluster, and the portion sizes were noticeably smaller than what I've come to expect from this chain. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted with indifference. The staff seemed overwhelmed and uninterested in providing any sort of customer service. My order took longer than expected, and when I finally received it, the employee barely acknowledged me. There was a lack of communication about my order status, which added to the frustration.

Just visited chipotle Baker Street and this Indian lady with glasses served me, gave me a dirty look, didn’t even let me order my food and kept rushing me when I wasn’t finished with my toppings. She was very rude to me and was upset and rushing me the whole time. I asked for extra toppings and she didn’t listen to me at all and gave me the tiniest portions, my boyfriend ordered after me and she gave him bigger portions than me. Never coming here again.

If you want to be shouted at whilst you order “WHICH BEANS WHICH BEANS COME ON MAN” this is the place for you. Also the portion sizes are an absolute joke if they shake the spoon any harder than that there will be no chicken left in my meal.

I tried Chipotle for the first time in New York and I really loved it there, so I decided to give it a try here in London. The bowl portion was MUCH smaller here, and the chicken and rice very dry. I was also charged £1 extra for asking for the Salsa on the side - would have been nice to be given a heads up of this before getting to the payment stage.

Love chipolte when lived in the USA. In the UK its pretty good ..not like the USA . Need to increase portions but other than that it worth a visit. I would go again

Disappointing Portions and unprofessional staff I recently visited Chipotle, expecting a satisfying meal, but left utterly disappointed. The portions they served were shockingly small—honestly, my refrigerator has more rice than what they put in the bowl! People come here to enjoy a fulfilling meal, but this was far from it. To make matters worse, everything was extremely salty, making the tiny portion even less enjoyable. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the staff was completely unprofessional. The person behind the counter seemed disinterested and rushed, like they couldn’t care less about the quality of service. Overall, it was a frustrating experience that left me unsatisfied and unlikely to return. Chipotle really needs to rethink their portion sizes, seasoning, and customer service if they want to keep customers happy

At £11.15 for a "loaded" burrito you don't expect to.be hit for an additional £1 for this meat, these vegetables, this topping. It's pretty astounding on top of which the rudest most indifferent service I've experienced in a while. And no, I won't pay 10p more for a paper bag. Seriously????

I met Chipotle on a trip to the USA and I loved it, I love it and I will love it forever. Great place to take a break from English food.

Chipotle's food is still tasty but now on two separate occasions (the one in Baker Street and the one in West Hampstead) the portion sizes have been very disappointing. The portions are smaller and the prices are higher. We're all going through the cost of living crisis but this is just simple greed. The saving grace for chipotle is their staffs service is great. They are friendly and efficient.

What's not to like... Clean food, clean premises. Please just don't make the portions smaller.

Standard Chioptle service in London

It's a good change compared to other fast-food chains. The presentation and serving was quite messy and the salad/vegetables didn't look fresh. I wanted 5 takeaway dishes and the service was disorganized mixing other people's orders in between my order!

We arrived at 10:35 and it was closed . The cashier said we close at 10 on Sunday!! The timing should be changed in Google.

Burrito was very good but it's the stinginess that got me. Very little meat, beans, rice etc. The burrito was half empty. In other places the burrito barely closes here they barely give you anything... a shame because the food is nice.

They wrote they close 23:00 however they close 22:00 , on Sunday 22:05 was going to order however they reply that they are close

Five stars before. Was my weekly weekend place as I loved their vegetarian rice bowls. Then they changed it. I’m actually in their place now and the vegetarian option is now just undercooked green peppers. Before it was better cooked and had yellow and red peppers. They made this change because it’s cheaper for them but the customer is paying the same price!!! Not good guys Damn shame. I’m all for changes but good changes and this was a bad change. Their food also has far too much salt. . Eat this too often and you will get hypertension but good for them as you’d need to spend more for a drink I guess. Cinemas tried this trick for years with their popcorn. Not my place to eat each weekend any more. I’ll need to find another. Meat was not good either and too tough and chewy/ again, there taking the cheap option to cut down on costs. This is not America guys. On a positive not the atmosphere is good and service is good. Princes are reasonable but being back the old vegetarian option with all the coloured peppers. Reduce the amount of salt and you might find your old customers come back.
