Big burritos made with a variety of ingredients, I personally customise mine which the staff are happy to do for you. I visit at least once a week and the queue is always nearly out the door, very popular place!

Working next door to Benito's Hat, Leadenhall Street, me and my work colleagues go there often. We will never be visiting there again due to the rude, ignorant staff . Todays experience, I usually have a customised burrito as not all the ingredients are to my taste. I asked to customise with 5 items to put in the Burrito (which has been fine to do for the past year) but today under yet again another new manager. I was made to look like an idiot for not ordering a 'Standard' Burrito. The manager rolled her eyes at me when ordering. Behind the counter was all new staff again!! As you can see over the counter when they are making the burritos, I had a look over and they were adding ingredients that I didn't order. When I pointed this out and said I only wanted exactly what was on the ticket, one of the girls behind the counter tutted and said something under her breath. They re-made the burrito, again, putting the wrong ingredients in! This time the manager came over as she could see I was speaking the staff behind the counter, I said to her I only wanted the ingredients that I had ordered nothing else and she said that it would be better for me to tell them what ingredients I don't want, but this would take forever! The way I have been ordering over the past year has been fine and they have never got an order wrong (this was when the tall guy was the manager), after finally getting the order right the bag was pushed under my nose and the girl walked away, no thank you, have a nice day. We will be going to Leadenhall Market to get our Burrito's now thanks to the incompetent staff!!

During my last stay in London it felt hungry quite late after lunchtime. Google Maps showed a place "Benito's Hat" actually quite close to the office - OK, get out, see what it is. It turned out to be one of 6 "Benito's Hat"s in London. The dishes are simple and for eating inside or takeaway - so don't expect things to become too fancy here. But it tastes like something (in the UK - not Indian but still taste). Actually they have spicy stuff and I mean spicy (some would call it hot). Its freshly prepared, very friendly and welcoming people. The place is busy during lunchtime - can't say anything about dinner (city is quite empty at that time). If you look for alternatives for lunch (and try to avoid typical pizza or sandwich) - give it a try. The regular Burrito with say chicken and sauce will be enough (and I can eat). Nachos and Salsa Bravo (for the brave among you).

The food was lovely. After my plate was taken away I sat and waited to order a dessert. Despite catching the attention of the waiting staff after over 30 minutes of waiting I gave it up as a bad job and went to the bar to ask for the bill. I asked for the service charge to be removed due to the wait but was not asked why. Disappointing, as the initial service was good, and the restaurant seemed to quieten down as the evening went on so it was strange
