Really nice restaurant, amazing food and great service! Will definitely return !!

Recommended place to dine with friends and with a great atmosphere. Very cool experience of going down to the restaurant area located underground. Very delicious margaritas and a place to have a pleasant time. We will return!!

Everything that is wrong with London nightlife since 2019 summed up in one venue. Booked table for drinks at 10:30pm, place was half empty. Waitress told us we had to order at least 1 main each and 2 sides - no where was this listed on the reservation. Manager seemed to hold us in contempt. We left after one round of overpriced drinks and went somewhere else. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Unique venue, low lit speakeasy aesthetic, unfortunately lacking the atmosphere you would expect to match. Sadly the food quality and flavour was average.

Let me tell you right now…. This place is OVERRATED. Outside: pretty. Vibe: cool. Food: BASIC, BORING, BLAND, SALTY, EMBARRASSING. I ordered a hibiscus margarita, as recommended by my server, I wasn’t a huge fan and she didn’t take on my feedback but tried to reframe my feedback (I said it was sour and not as sweet as I’d expect, she suggested it was floral). Also when I drank maybe two thirds a server went to take it away, I had to tell them I was not finished yet. Tap water kept staying filled which was good. We ordered the quesadilla which was… a tortilla with melted cheese on top what looked like mayonnaise pasted across it and maybe some pesto? It probably cost less than a quarter of its sale price to make. We got the tender stem broccoli/green vege and it was DROWNED in soy sauce. Drowned. The octopus was not nice. It’s not usually my cup of tea tho and this was definitely not it. The chicken al pastor tacos were maximum 4 out of 10. No dish was good or great, nothing exceeded any expectation. I’ve had better food in MANY other places in SoHo. I would therefore NOT recommend this place. How do you give feedback in a restaurant when every dish is bad? Overpriced for underwhelming flavour, taste and experience.

Visited yesterday, Saturday night for some drinks and had a great evening dancing to the best salsa, pop, and reggaeton music ever! Excellent DJ who played all the new tunes from Bad Bunny, Karol G and also the hits from Shakira besides pop and 90ties hits. Everyone was dancing and singing along. The bar has a wide choice of drinks and the atmosphere was electric!

This was my first time to this venue and I went with a client. I have to say I was very impressed by the quality of the food, the drinks and the service. There was nothing too much trouble and they really made you very special and welcome without bothering you. I would recommend it to anyone and it is a hidden gem in my eyes that I will be returning to!

I have been wanting to come here for years and so have my friends. Always walked past it on drunken nights out in soho and felt the fomo. However I’m SO DISAPPOINTED. Firstly, the staff were amazing, I really can’t fault the service and how lovely everyone was. The food on the other hand was just so terrible. It tasted like frozen food reheated. We ordered ALOT across the menu and it all just tasted so basic. Even the dessert (cheesecake) was so average. Just not worth the money at all. There are so many lovely Mexican restaurants at half the price in London. Quite disappointed over this but i guess the restaurant owners don’t care as they seem to be forever busy. But if you want good food this isn’t the place at all. Nice vibes, lovely staff but that’s it. Even the margaritas were pretty basic.

The somewhat hidden/original entrance and the festive atmosphere inside are the positive points of this restaurant. For the rest, the food is good but nothing more, just like the cocktails. The reservation window is 2 hours so you don't have to hang around ordering/eating/clearing out... You're in a lot of pressure to leave the premises as quickly as possible to free up the table. Fortunately the prices are acceptable but there are surely better in London!

I love when places live up to the hype and this place did it for me! Amazing and friendly service from our waitress (I didn't grab her name but you know who you are girl;) ) Very happy with the food selection and the chocolate mousse was a hit for me. Can't wait to be back.

I really like it here, it’s easy to walk past and not realise it’s a restaurant, but once you go through the door and down the stairs it’s a great restaurant/bar with a cool atmosphere. As long as you’re ok paying high central London prices, and also ok with slightly aloof service from the waitresses, then you’ll be rewarded with some incredible food.

The restaurant itself is lovely and the ambience is great. However, most of the food was average at best, and the service wasn’t anything special. The seabass ceviche was definitely the best thing we ordered, and the quesadilla was by far the worst. The prawn tacos were ok, not the most flavour. All our food was brought out at the same time which meant our mains went cold whilst we were eating our starters. Overall it was fine, but I won’t be going back anytime soon.

Food and drinks were good, but for some reason I don't understand they follow this trend of playing clubby music uncomfortably loud, and the light so dim you can't see the menu. I wanted to be able to talk with other people in my table and even when shouting it was hard to understand others. It's also hard for the waiters to hear your order so there was a couple of mix ups with our order due to that

I was very disappointed with the service here. I booked a table for my partner's birthday and there was no option when booking for just drinks. When we were first served we mentioned this and it seemed to be no problem. We were then served our drinks. After this we were asked for our food order, to which we explained we weren't ordering food. We were only planning on being there for an hour for a quick drink or two before going for dinner, but we were rudely we told we had to move to the bar. The attitude we had from the waitress and manageress was unacceptable, we then had to awkwardly stand at the bar while our table (and several others) remained empty. Surprised there wasn't any leeway seeing as the table was empty anyway, and they hadn't been clear before. Will not be returning here or recommending to anyone.

A speakeasy basement vibe restaurant with exposed brick and dim lighting. A sideways piano as a divider is brilliant. The iberico pork and chicken tacos are amazing and I will be coming back just to get them again!

This restaurant boasts a vibrant atmosphere and truly exceptional drinks (11/10, no less!). However, the dining experience fell drastically short of expectations, especially given the hefty £595 price tag (including service charge, a point of significant frustration). My American cousins and I were left deeply disappointed. While the decor is undeniably appealing, the food simply doesn't justify the cost. My steak tortilla was disappointingly dry, crying out for a proper sauce rather than just guacamole. This dryness extended to the other tortilla dishes, which lacked cheese – an inexplicable omission for a Mexican restaurant. The excuse given was a lack of a "cheese button" on the till, a truly baffling and unacceptable explanation for denying a simple request, particularly considering the substantial bill. This cheese debacle, coupled with the mediocre main courses, left the tortillas dry and unappetizing. The staff's attentiveness was also lacking, further compounding the negative experience. While the fish tacos (a starter) received praise, they weren't enough to salvage the meal. My cousins, visiting from the States and craving authentic Mexican flavors, were left utterly dissatisfied. I share their disappointment, especially as I was the one who chose this establishment. The low rating this restaurant has received is now perfectly clear to me, and I regret not heeding the warnings. In short: go for the drinks and maybe the fish tacos, but avoid the main courses and be prepared for a potentially cheese-less (and costly) experience. I will not be returning.

Tasty food with lots of vegetarian options but few explicitly vegan options. Vibe felt a bit a like eating dinner in a nightclub, which was a bit strange. Might have been better with more obviously Mexican music

The first impressions was amazing. The Ambiente es great with a darker light setting in the restaurant. The tables were a bit brighter. Perfect light setting for a nice dinner. I came here for an anniversary dinner with my wifey and we got a nice warm welcome. And a glass of champagne from the restaurant. The staff was really nice and emptied the table straightaway from plates and glasses that were not used anymore. The food and the drinks were very nice and delicious. We felt like a night out in Mexico City were we both have been already many times. We had a great evening there with nice drinks, nice food, unique location and a perfect service

Amazing service today, first time to the restaurant and our waitress was so professional, knowledgeable on the menu and so so helpful, food was delicious and atmosphere was very chilled and relaxed and the music was really nice, was told about the evenings and the live music, will definitely be back again,

The menu includes a mixture of dishes mainly from Mexico but there are dishes from other regions of South America as well. Service was excellent. Food was not. Prices were too high for what is offered. To pay £11 for a single taco is ridiculous. The ceviche was not well balanced. The leche de tigre was so acidic that you could not taste the fish at all. We ordered the lamb barbacoa. It comes with just a few tortillas so you are forced to order more. In fact we had to order 2 extra portions of tortillas to finish all the meat. Tortillas are very cheap to make, even when getting the Mexican flour they are very cheap. So it is quite cheeky to only give you a few in a portion to charge you more for another portion. The same goes for the sauces. They bring you 2 tiny bowls of salsa that you finish in less than 5 tacos. We had to order 3 extra portions of salsa. And of course you are charged extra for them. The lamb barbacoa was ok. They bring you some pulled lamb at the bottom of the plate which is quite bland but they also give you a lamb chop which was delicious. If the shredded lamb had the same flavour as the chop the dish would be amazing. Another petty bad thing is the lack of hot sauces. We asked for hot spicy sauce and the answer was "we are not allowed to serve hot sauces" By who? It is a mexican place. You are expecting hot sauces!!!!! They only thing they could get for us was a chopped jalapeño which obviously lacks all the other flavours from a nice hot sauce. It was a disappointing meal.

Superlekker en zeer vriendelijk personeel ! Je moet weten waar het is want het lijkt een stripclub als je voor de deur staat 😃. Vrij veel lawaai maar wij komen er zeker terug !

De naam van het restaurant was niet vermeld op de deur, waardoor we 2 keer hebben moeten kijken of we wel juist waren. Het lijkt een beetje een louche bar te zijn. Eens binnen is alles wel verzorgd en het onthaal was vriendelijk. Het restaurant ligt in de kelder en er is niet veel plaats tussen de tafels. De muziek staat luid waardoor communicatie onderling en met het personeel zeer moeilijk is. Door het lawaai bracht de serveerster ongevraagd een fles water, welke ook is aangerekend. De cocktail was vernieuwend lekker. Het eten was lekker maar duur voor wat je krijgt. Door de moeilijke communicatie en weinig uitleg op de kaart, was het niet duidelijk dat je bijgerechten moet bestellen. Gezien de al hogere prijs had ik toch minstens aardappelen verwacht bij het hoofdgerecht. De soorten beschikbare crème waren ook niet vermeld bij de deserts en dit vragen bij het luide lawaai ging zeer moeilijk. Toen gevraagd werd naar onze tevredenheid was de reactie op het feit dat de muziek nogal luid stond dat het niet de bedoeling is om elkaar te verstaan maar wel om sfeer te brengen. Algemeen was het in orde, maar een echte aanrader kan ik het niet noemen.

The food is okay but not very special. You ask for meat medium rare and you get it well done...shoe sole. The wraps are dry and tasteless and the staff pays little attention to the guests.

Fantastic restaurant, been coming here for 20 years. Right in the heart of everything. Food is great, vibe is brilliant and the DJ volume is spot on... you can actually talk at your table without shouting. A true gem!

Fuimos por primera vez y para una celebración de cumpleaños. El exterior y el área de guardarropa eran temáticos, pero en el interior era completamente diferente. Es un lugar divertido para llevar amigos, pero también se puede tener una gran comida con la familia. El restaurante es pequeño pero tenía un gran ambiente. Nos cuidaron bien, la comida era increíble y el servicio era excelente. Sin duda me volvería a visitar. ¡Gracias!

Avoid, the only positive thing I can say about this place is that they served us food quickly so we could be out of there asap. Firstly I asked for tap water and they served us £5.50 still water. The food is bland and boring with the prices of a Michelin restaurant. I would not recommend it and we’ll not be going again.

Vibe was great food however was not good at all.

Very unique aesthetics and great welcome from the host, the food was terrible. The ceviche was sliced thick as bread, the chicken tacos were ok, the banana thing for dessert covered in chocolate soil was one of the worst things I have ever eaten just a bowl of sweet slop covered in whatbtasywd like instant coffee granules. All round very disappointing experience.

The mezcalitas were great. The quesadilla was just cheese and no flavour. Tacos were ok but the tortillas were hard. The grilled chicken lacked flavour and was overpriced. Service was very slow and we had to ask them to cancel few items as they were taking too long. Will not be coming back unfortunately.

El servicio fue muy bueno, la selección muy variada y la calidad de cada plato era increíble! Quizás un poco caro para porciones, sin embargo, el ambiente es lo que este lugar se trata. The food was very good. Service was a complete disgrace. Would not recommend unless you are very drunk, it is clearly not a place to go for a nice and fun dinner.

We had a birthday dinner in this place. The experience did not start at best upon arrival where the security guy and the receptionist were a little rude. The table was reserved at 9.30, but we did not sit until 9.45. The team did offer us some shots to make up for this. I found food tasted okey. Nothing special in my personal opinion, all Mexican inspired. The big table we were sitting at had nails sticking out, which got caught in my pants and basically ripped them😒. Was not happy about that ! The atmosphere was good and the DJ played good music! Lighting was a bit too dark, though, in the dining section. Overpriced I feel for that we had.

First visited this place 9 years ago as an anniversary surprise. Menu was different this time, but the experience is still amazing. Little crowed and tables are so compacted together, but definitely worth going still. The staff are so welcoming, helpful and friendly

A superb night in a truly excellent restaurant. Faultless. Exquisitely prepared and presented authentic fresh food, attentive service, in a truly unique venue. One of the best nights out I've had in years!

Very average - avoid if you are a foodie. Would only ever come back for a cocktail and some guac. The items on the menu all sound wonderful when you read them out, however the execution of these aren't good. The Mushroom Tacos were so beige - literally just: Corn tortilla, some refried beans, the mushroom mix & some grated cheese. So basic and dull without any particular flavours. The Quesadilla was a after school snack with a Mexican twist. 1 singular tortilla topped with melted cheese, tomatoes and some drizzle - more like a fake pizza. The Aubergine was actually really bad. The butterbean mash was watery and none of the flavours on the plate went well together. It was also topped (read: covered!) in raw onion which just made it overpowering and not enjoyable. The review would be 1 star however the corn saved the show and was really good. So was the cocktails. For what you get - this restaurant is very expensive. If the food was good I would deem the prices fair - but that isn't the case. Venue is cool but quite chilly and with a damp unpleasant scent in the air. The team was accommodating and attentive.

The place is absolutely amazing! The food is divine, the service is so nice and elegant, highly recommend! We've tried some of the ceviche and cross our heart have been the best of the best in our entire life (and we've been in Peru). We congratulated the chef for that. The tacos were amazing too. What can I say about the cocktails which are made perfectly. So it has all the atributes to choose it talking about the food and drinks. All the staff is part of London vibe. Our amazing waiter was Bianca, a brazilian girl who treat us so nice that we felt she's our friend, there was a powerful connection between us. The vibe and the music of the place are something unique and charming. Definitely recommend to try this place if and you are in Soho.

Good food and drink great service by the Italian manager

I loved this place all the way from entering through a sex shop and the decor when you get there. We went at 7:00 p.m. on a tease day and it was not very loud but I could definitely tell and my friend who had been there before said it can get very loud which would not be an atmosphere that I would like. But if you want quieter time probably good to go earlier. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. It reminds me of the dinner scene in the second film of The Addams family. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing, we shared four dishes and that was enough for a light dinner. If you wanted a full dinner you would probably need to order a bit more The hibiscus mezcal Margarita was very nice.

I'd say its an amazing date restaurant, if you're not really fussed about what you are eatting.. But I feel the food could be better.. I got bones in my fish taco which wasn't pleasant.. and honestly.. for the price I'm paying.. I expect great mexican food.. I just came out feeling unfulfilled as I know I could do better at home..

Awful place. Awful entrance. Rude staff A friend booked this place. It was awful to find. She had to send me a photo. When I realised it was a sex shop sex show entrance I was really unhappy and didn’t want to go in. There’s no indication it’s a restaurant. It’s a cheap and tacky entrance to a restaurant. Definitely not somewhere to take someone you like. I reluctantly went in and the receptionist was blank and uncommunicative. I said I didn’t like the entrance to the restaurant. On going downstairs, the waiter was rude to me and suggested I have a tequila to cheer up. So I left. The toilets are so dark and it’s hard to tell male from female and the music is so loud down there it didn’t feel safe at all. Overall not a great place and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless I really disliked them. I don’t know how long this place will be around.

The food portions compared to the price can be better. Some plates some small for what I was hoping for. Other than that you wouldn't care how much to spend on food if you're coming here.

Top quality food in a bustling underground room styled as an old cellar. Attentive staff. Each dish we had was full of flavour and arrived "Tapas Style" Good choice of cocktails as well. Of course the entrance to the restaurant is the "surprise part"

Outstanding. This might be some of the best food I’ve eaten. I cannot recommend this place enough. Staff were friendly and attentive. Met the Chef and had to congratulate him and his brigade. Food was great, good portions, beautiful flavour, wicked awesome! Cocktails were just as good and the coffee was on point which is so rare. Prices are what I would expect in deep Soho. I’d pay more. I will be back again and again. Tacos, quesadillas, slow cooked lamb, corn on the cob were out of this world. Well done team and thank you Chef! Surprise burlesque show is worth a mention. Happy customer, easy 5 stars.

Innovative Mexican cuisine. Friendly and efficient service. Interesting cocktail menu and long list of tequilas and mezcal. Ceviche was excellent but a small portion. Guacamole was scintillating. Asperagus was generous but the green mole would be even better with a bit of lemon or Herby accent. Brilliant tacos, the right size to scoff two or three. Revisited the kinky downstairs branch. Brilliant service. Fun cocktails. Mexican food without gorp! Tasty and fresh.

I was disappointed with the food when I went there for my birthday but this place doesn't disappoint if you want somewhere to go for some drinks and little boogie. The music is always great. Shame it is a little small so it does get crowded quickly but would still recommend for a mid-week dance off or weekend after dinner mini blow off

I had the worst experience celebrating my bday there when I had to ask 3 times for my own drink and multiple times to order food, which end up not arriving and I are one taco the whole evening. The restaurant was empty so I’m not sure why even. Never coming back.

Everything was excellent. The food was gorgeous, we tried the quesadilla, the chicken tacos and the roast chicken and we couldn't get enough! Highly recommending the spicy mango margarita.

Came for Cazeleons drag brunch, with a set menu. We were quite a large party of 8 so we already had adjusted expectations having been to a few bottomless brunches as a gang, and knowing that you can generally expect slightly slower service and small portions of food. When we were seated we were shown the menu and started making our choices- we were very shocked when the waitress told us that everything on the menu would be served - about 5 courses all in! The food itself was faultless- hot and staggered to allow us to graze. The Cevice was the standout dish but the tacos were also noteworthy. The Guac was to die for. We had bottomless margs which were flowing constantly with no delay or wait- a rarity for a bottomless brunch! The vibe and atmosphere were fabulous- the drag show and fire artist kept things entertaining but plenty of breaks allowed everyone to talk and catch up. They let us stay a little longer for extra drinks at the bar and we were given as fond a farewell as the welcome we recieved. Well worth the £65 a head which I think would have covered the food alone- but with a show and bottomless booze it feels like a complete steal.

It was mid but so expensive for what we got. The food was very disappointing - so average. There are chain places which are way better and so much cheaper. The service was good if a bit too attentive as in we were mid bite and they were taking our plates away. £90+ quid I’ll never see again I feel robbed.

Please don't go off the negative reviews - From the moment we entered to the moment we left we were greeted with such warmth and attentiveness. The service was impeccable. Having read some of the below reviews we were left a tad perturbed and anxious about our visit but all of this was quickly squashed with an amazing atmosphere for my 27th birthday meal. Food was lovely, although wished it was explained more as to what were small plates for sharing, starters or mains. The spicy mango marg is to die for. I even got to flog my boyfriend on exit 😈 thank you for a wonderful evening 🖤

From the outside, it doesn’t even look like a restaurant or bar. Inside, the drinks were spot on, and the atmosphere was even better—truly a hidden gem.

Damp and mouldy. They tried to cover it with insense but we couldn't stand being there any longer after our dinner. Also had to sned a meal back because if was ridiculously salty. Overall very expensive and did not live up to expectations or £££

The food was really enjoyable - special shoutout to the steak, the drinks were good and the service was lovely. They play really great music inside and set a really sexy vibe. I had such a great time here!

The simple disappointing fact is that the food served here is overpriced for the portion size even when considering it's location, and isn't particularly high quality or refined. All the dishes served to us were low end masquerading as higher end because of the decor and aurora the restaurant creates. I can see it being good for groups that want mostly drinks and to talk, but as far as dates or smaller groups go, it will be very difficult to hear over the noise which rattles round the cellar walls. The waiting staff were a little overly attentive, without being friendly which creates an unpleasant atmosphere or interruption throughout.

Great food. Iberico pork was so good. Cocktails even better. Highly recommend

Don't let the outside throw you off. This place has a great atmosphere and amazing staff. The catalan gentleman and Debbie made it a very fun and interesting environment (highlight of the night). The food was also really good and allergen friendly, thanks to the amazing kitchen. I do plan on coming back . The place does have 2 entrances, so make sure you are at the correct one.

Terrible service from the beginning, we were exploring the area and stumbled upon this restaurant and wanted to check it out, they didn’t let us in, the people at the door were very rude it put us off and we decided not to have dinner there even though the menu sounds good the people were rude, really upset as this would’ve been a nice experience if it weren’t for that treatment…

Good experience and atmosphere, the food was great and the staff friendly. A bit too pricey for the quality of the food though.

I don’t really understand why this place has an over 4 rating. I live in central London and it’s clear that this place is an absolute tourist trap. We went for a preset dinner for a big group of us. It was reasonably expensive (£40-£60 per person). And so I couldn’t quite believe when the tiny portions came to the table. The bar (that we walked up to and waited at to get drinks) even added a £5 service charge for a bottle of wine. The staff weren’t particularly attentive or positive, but that didn’t stop the 15% service charge being slapped on our bill too. It’s disappointing because there were moments of good food e.g soft shell crab tacos, but it was so overshadowed by stale tortilla chips and ridiculous prices.

They got our order wrong and gave a vegetarian a chicken dish. They spilt water all over one of the diners. Despite all of this they tried to add on service charge. Would not recommend.
