Celebrated a birthday here lastnight. The food was fabulous, had a range of tapas and pizza, beautifully cooked and presented. Great atmosphere, staff attentive, friendly and professional. Thanks for a really good night Nicola and Martin!

It was difficult to say WHEN we came because we visit OFTEN. Sotirio’s is our fave go-to place to eat. Where else could you walk in, be immediately enveloped in a cocoon of friendliness and care, seated and served with the most delicious food? We love you Sotirio’s. Roll on the next time.

Hubo un par de cumpleaños en la noche en que estuve allí y el personal hizo un alboroto encantador de todos nosotros. No hay prisa para que nos vayamos después de que nuestra franja horaria expiró, ya que hay espacio en la planta alta también. Muy recomendable y volveré de nuevo.

Absolutely fantastic place, it felt as being in abroad. The food was full of flavours, a joy with every mouthful, and portions were generous. Totally recommend it.

Was pretty excited to come here after seeing so many great reviews. Food was nice, the mains were gorgeous. Chef is lovely and asked how we found the food, clearly is very talented. The brownie dessert was heated up but possibly too long as it was quite chewy and tough suggesting it’s been over heated. Let down by the service front of house sadly, didn’t feel very welcomed or very friendly and I felt uncomfortable at times. Not sure if it was just an ‘off’ night.

Had a very enjoyable evening celebrating my birthday with friends, All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals and wine… Cat & Tina were lovely and very welcoming. Thank you so much. We will definitely return!

I’d been wanting to try it for a while, and finally went last night—and it did not disappoint. We sat by the lovely open windows, and the beautiful décor made us feel like we were on a Mediterranean getaway. We started with the whitebait and halloumi—both were amazing! For mains, we had the moussaka and ginger chicken—superb dishes, packed with flavour. And the desserts? The limoncello and Ferrero Rocher mousse were simply gorgeous. Honestly, everything about this place makes you want to come back. I can’t fault a single thing. They truly deserve all the passing trade they can get, and locals should absolutely support them whenever they can!!

Fui a este restaurante para mi hendo y el personal era encantador y amable unas pocas personas en mi grupo tenían alergias alimentarias y eran capaces de atendernos, incluso cocinaron un entrante en una parte separada de la cocina para que pudieran comerlo y proporcionar un postre diferente. We weren't expecting to be so impressed with a family meal out at Vlora but the food was delicious! My husband had the steak, he's fussy but said that it was cooked to perfection. The restaurant was very quiet for a Saturday night peak time which is a little concerning? Yes it's expensive but worth it as it's cooked so beautifully. Great customer service with a friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend

Hummus starter was enough for two with the complementary bread; the moussaka and chicken casserole were both tasty and well-cooked; enjoyable. Sad that the place was so quiet on a Thursday evening.

5/5 9TH APRIL 2025 Wandering Wednesday’ this week took Hubby Neil and I to an eatery where we have not been to previously. We ventured into Town to a Bistro called ‘Sakan’ on Sankey St. The restaurant was pristine and our server was a lady named Aneta, this lady was lovely and smiley, very polite, friendly and professional….. It wasn’t too busy at the time we dined there so food waiting time was literally cooking time. We both ordered the same which was Eggs Benedict and steak…. This was layered up with….. Two toasted muffins, finely chopped tomatoes and white onion…… sliced medium rare lean steak, with two poached eggs, smothered in silky Hollandaise sauce, garnished with cress, Nigella seeds, black pepper, the plate was drizzled with chilli mayo with added pearls of tiny biquinho sweet peppers…..this was accompanied with a dish of lightly salted crispy potatoes…. This whole dish was SO PERFECT, I didn’t want it to end… I’ve never had Eggs Benedict before but I’ll never forget the first restaurant I tried it in……. We both said that this is probably the best restaurant we’ve been to yet on Wandering Wednesdays. Massive compliments to the Chef, whose name is Pawel…..Who has a gift in cooking…. Fault could not be found at all, it was totally delicious. SIMPLY PERFECT and thank you. This place is a definite MUST TRY…. It goes without asking if we’ll be back!…..
