We had a birthday meal with 13 of us and the food and service is faultless, the staff are just absolutely amazing and the food and drinks was enjoyed by all! The added service charge to the bill is well deserved ! Thanks again guys we will be back soon

We had the Acili Ezme, hummus, halloumi salad, and virgin piña coladas - all were fantastic! Each dish was fresh and full of flavor, and the drinks were refreshing. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to an already great experience. Highly recommended.

WOW WOW just WOW..! First time after living in the area for a year and driving past so many times. Our mission is to go through the complete menu 🤣 We both had the mixed Shish and never have we had such tender, succulent lamb and chicken. We met the owner, as well as all of the staff who came over one by one to check on us. Even got a complimentary dessert ❤️ Can’t wait to go back soon! Wow! Absolutely loved our evening in Shiraz on Friday. From the minute we walked in we felt attended too and looked after, the service was on point and the food was incredible. Loved that it felt like a proper experience, not just going for dinner, but a whole evening out. We arrived at 7 and left around 12.30! They had a DJ, turned an area into a dance floor and got everyone up and dancing. Mehmet and the team are great and doing something special. Highly recommended.

Wow, stunning food at Shiraz Bar & Mediterranean Restaurant tonight. Only had main course of ginger chicken but the flavour and quality was second to none. The service was exceptional also, even with a very large party celebrating, we were not left waiting or wanting. Will be back when next in the area.

If you enjoy Middle Eastern food, then this is the place for you! The salad was a real treat. It almost tasted like a dessert with the honey infused baked goat cheese in the middle of the salad. Beetroot with various types of greens dressed with a balsamic vinegar dressing. The roasted lamb cubes came steaming hot to the table dressed in a tomato based marinade with coriander,onion, garlic, and some other spice that I’m not too familiar with. Delicious and very filing meal.

Delicious Turkish food- delicate balance of flavours. Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Two of us shared stuffed calamari squid, Imam bayildi(roasted eggplant and veggies) with bulgur and a generous serving of sautéd spinach, and managed a serving of baklava and icecream, all for under £50 before drinks.

We were nicely greeted by a Romanian gentleman who made us feel welcomed and he did look after us very well. The food was good overall but I was expecting better given the Tripadvisor rating, however the vegetarian Moussaka was just okay.

The food here is fantastic, really tasty, healthy and really well cooked, quite a gem of a place really, I wish it was nearer where I live. The staff are really on the ball and attentive. The food packs a punch and actually is a combination of nice home food and while giving you that something a little different, right down to the different spin on side salad. I finished my decent size plate, I wanted to eat more but was stuffed. I often look at some Tripadvisor reports and think that’s fake as it looks too good and here I am writing one of those great reports but I’m no food critic, or fake report, give it a whirl

My husband and I visited this restuarant this evening for dinner as we were staying close by before leaving for Mexico the following day and I felt compelled to leave a review. From the moment we arrived and found a beautiful setting, the staff were attentive, with just the right amount of attention without interfering with what was absolutely amazing food. I can totally recommend the babaganush, while my husband raved over the taramasalad. The sea bream was divine, as was the Malbec wine. This will definitely be our go to place for dinner in the future whenever we have a Gatwick stopover.

Horley and Crawley are culinary deserts, so it was a real surprise to find this friendly and buzzy place just of Horley High St. Both the interior and welcome were very warm on the chilly night we visited. It’s a large place but even though mid-week was full of energy. The menu is predominantly Turkish/ Northern Med, full of favourites. It’s not fine dining, but it’s very good, with generous portions of comfort food served piping hot. Textures and flavours were spot on. Decent wine and beer choices. It’s worth noting it doesn’t have a car park, but the (rather grim at night) town centre car park is 50 metres away.

Everything from the phone call to book until we left the restaurant was good. Since we ordered meze to share we got the food really quick and everything was really delicious and we had a great time. All the staff were really friendly and polite. We will definitely be back when in the neighbourhood. Recommend the restaurant if you want a good meal and a good experience.

Had a fantastic evening with friends for our Christmas night out, the atmosphere was amazing so much fun, DJ was brilliant everyone up dancing having a good time. The food was tasty and every meal came out was perfect. I had Christmas set menu the lamb shank was the best I’ve had and best baklava. My friends were drinking the butterscotch cocktail. All the staff work extremely hard and so friendly. Thank you Shiraz team for making our evening brilliant fun.

This is a family run restaurant who clearly have a passion for it as they’ve got it exactly right. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere and the service were second to none!! Absolutely fantastic place! There was 10 of us that went in couples but it’s suitable for a girls night out too and all ages. Every team member went above and beyond looking after us and constantly making sure everything was ok. The food that came out just kept coming and there was nothing we could have faulted. It really was incredible!

Named after two things; a historically bad wine and a historically good part of Persia, this is a good restaurant with friendly staff. Excellent portions, tasty food and I particularly liked the bread that came with our starters. However the only reason I can't give five stars is the intense love of butter that the chef seems to have. We both found it slightly heavy for our liking. Butter is made by blending heavy cream until a buttery liquid forms, then pressing it down into a bowl and chilling it until it hardens - but then, the good people of Shiraz (in Horley and Iran) will already know this!
