Comptoir Libanais in Reigate and Banstead

This is very average Lebanese Restaurant at the airport. This is OK for a quick meal before the flight.

Always eat here when flying from terminal 4. Friendly staff, delicious middle eastern food. Situated in the quieter end of departures.

I really enjoyed my time spent there considering that my flight was delayed. The food was great but I have to say the portions are a bit too small for my appetite😂 anyways, Anna marie took care of all my needs even though I’m a bit picky about food and ensured my food was quick even if I was not in rush. So check this place out for a quick oriental snack 👌

First time in a Lebanese restaurant and very impressed with the decor, service and quality of food. My scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and sour dough toast was delicious. The tea and coffee somehow tasted nicer out of a class cup and the staff were very friendly. A great way to start our holiday.

Service disastrous, food microwaved, my plate looked like they scraped salad leftovers from day before (had chicken wrap) that comes with hummus that is bearable to eat after you had no food since lunchtime day before! I am just regretting that I didn't get sandwich from any shop in the terminal instead of wasting my money and time. Would not recommend to my worst enemy!! Table never got cleaned....plate still sitting on the table.....after paying and leaving!! Ps. Only one more customer in the restaurant.

So excited that one of my favourite restaurants was located in T4 HTRW. Have to say service is far superior to my local in Manchester but it became. Lear why that was the case The food had obviously been reheated and was extremely poor. I would rate it at best a 2/10. This is only my second post and I travel 200+ flight a year. Only doing so in the hole the restaurant takes better care and more pride in what they serve. Should have made the track to T5 to Wagamama who never disappoint wherever in the world you happen to find them

Nice to have something different at the airport. We had the chicken shawarma and falafel wrap. Both were lovely. For pudding we got the mango cheesecake, was lovely and so refreshing. Lovely food, not too expensive compared to other eateries in airports. Service was quick and friendly.

I usually expect low quality food in the terminals. This restaurant makes a difference. The food is tasty and nice. Prices- ok for Heathrow.

I ate there before i flew out with my friend and the food was absolutely outstanding. I was served by someone called George who looked after us, excellent customer service.

Well what a surprise, perfectly cooked breakfast and a hot and strong flat white. Place is funky and meticulously clean, the best airport food since haggis in Scotland many years ago Worth every penny and more

I visited on a quiet day. I did not have much time so I asked if it was possible to order quickly and get something as soon as possible. I was pleasantly surprised. Good choice of vegetarian dishes. I will certainly come back

One of their servers was extremely rude! I had ordered takeaway, but later realised I may have enough time to sit down and finish my meal. More than half the restaurant was empty and their was no waiting for tables. Even then he said I should have ordered in, when I tried explaining he cut me off! Even if the food is great, service is key. Please train your staff.

Waited to be seated, waiter walked passed me several times and ignored me while serving other people. Finally say me down, food ordered arrived pretty promptly. Food was average with smaller portions than expected. Requested a some water as drink ordered was frozen. Waiter acknowledged but never produce the goods. Was prompted again and was apologetic this time providing a glass of water. Requested for the bill several times and was initially ignored. Then once acknowledged again failed to produce the goods. I noted that going to the till to pay was not the custom of the restaurant. So waited a further 10 minutes when the person next to me requested the bill for themselves and was obliged promptly. Informed of my disappointment which the waiter acknowledged and stated I was leaving. Bill was produced very promptly after that. The service could have made the experience so much better. A sincere apology would have been better for ignoring certain diners at the restaurant.

Terminal 4 has some good shops and eateries and I was delighted to discover Comptoir Libanais at one end after walking through and not wanting to eat at any of the other places. An excellent Falafel and Fatoush salad was good value at just under ten pounds. It was fresh, delicious and well presented - well overcame my slight irritation at delay in order being taken and distinct lack of good customer service. However, this must be one of the best eateries at the Airport. I would happily recommend and return

Can't remember when I ate so well on an airport. I had the chicken wrap with garlic sauce which was terrific. Ordered extra bread with some yogurthy stuff was marvellous. The baclava woth the coffee was excellent.

If this restaurant would be located in the city instead of on Heathrow, the quality compared to the price would be great. On the airport, it is awesome.

Extremely disappointed with this restaurant inside Heathrow Airport as it lacks in hospitality and professionalism. Me and my colleagues wanted to grab something quick, as we were extremely hungry.Just when we got our respective orders,we quickly grabbed a table as the restaurant wasn't very busy and there wasn't anyone waiting behind us to order. Just when we all took our first bit of the Wrap. One of the lady from the counter yelling on top of her voice (please note) you can't sit here to eat, as the service for eating in- is different from take away. But we weren't using any of their cutlery or plate, we were just eating straight out of our take away paper bag. I would have understood if we were occupying the table when the restaurant was busy. Even if she wanted to Convey her message, she could have politely walked near us and informed us. It was extremely embarrassing for all of us as the whole restaurant was looking at us and also at the lady for yelling on top of her voice. How I wish, I could had paid more attention to her name so I could have mentioned it here. The incident occurred on the 28th of August 2019 between 19:00pm to 20:00pm London time.Would never return to this restaurant ever.

We had a 4, or so, hour delay here this morning but where lucky enough to stumble upon Comptoir, I’m so glad we did!

Lovely Lebanese restaurant in Heathrow; I had to stop here just because all the other places are "just the same" I had the Lamb Tagine, it was small for the price but full of flavour, washed down with a cold beer, very welcome.

I left my house at the crack of dawn knowing I would be very early for the airport but thought I would just sit and enjoy a coffee from Costa or Nero. To my delight I saw “Comptoir Libanais” on the airport map just a few steps from my gate. It’s a charming restaurant, fantastic decor and nice music. The staff are super friendly and my server, Mahmoud was great. I asked what I should order although I figured it should be the Shakshuka he confirmed and this is what I had. It was delicious!!! Mahmoud offered dessert and usually I would not indulge in breakfast dessert but could not resist a delicious baklava. I had two americanos as well since I had so much time. I’m now stuffed and very satisfied. It was such a pleasure to sit for a long while and enjoy my meal, the ambiance and the lovely staff. I hope I have more flights leaving from terminal 4 just so I can go to Le Comptoir Libanais. Don’t

The restaurant was very busy and the food was served in reasonable time. The taste of the food was OK. I had to approach the waiter to take my order as they were really busy. The price was reasonable for the airport.

Being a big fan of Lebanese food I decided to have my lunch at Comptoir Libanais at the Heathrow T4 terminal. Wow, very nice Leb food that I enjoyed very much. Great Humus as an appetiser and and even so great mixed grill as main course. Will be back next time when at T4

The Lebanese canteen was such a surprise. The food was delicious, the service quick and ppl smiling!

I was so happy to see this restaurant- so good there is something other than Eat, a seafood bar and a pub. However, the quality of food was highly disappointing. Lovely waiting staff, nice drinks. But a fattoush couldn't even be served as a dull side salad. Very dry falafel.

This was my second visit and I enjoyed the food as much this time as last. Friendly service and quick also. Reasonable cost especially for an airport. I went for the lamb shish and some herby potatoes and had an excellent glass of pomengranate lemonade. Very friendly lady on the counter. I eat here whenever I come to Terminal 4.

I popped in for breakfast and was so impressed. Lovely canteen-style feel and a great, buzzy atmosphere - even at 6.30am. Ella was a delight and I ended up lingering over coffee because I felt so welcomed. Muhamad was utterly charming and brought me a small plate of baklava to try, on the house.

I often eat breakfast in airports - often more to kill time waiting for a flight than anything else - and frequently find them uninteresting and expensive. Certainly, the ambiance is seldom anything other than, well, airport loungey.

I had great experience in comptoir ,great atmosphere and warm welcoming with George he took my order and recommended chicken burger and I had glass of wine and was best meal I had in Airport I will come back again . High recommended very high standards restaurant

I went to this restaurant on 4 May 2019..being ushered by the floor mgr i guessed.. he said we have what you want..

Good spot for breakfast when you have an early flight. Fresh pressed orange juice, perfectly cooked porridge, eggs and coffee were good. Mint tea is a welcome option. Prices are very reasonable for airport food and for London. Staff are friendly.

Café and restaurant are combined. But no one showed tables for me and there was no menu on the table which I set, and no one come to the table so I thought I have to order at the counter, then I waited in the queue. When I ordered a menu, the staff told me I need to order at my table and staff would come soon. So I went back to the table but no one come to the table again! 10 minutes later I went to counter and told staff about that, and they said again, they would come to table soon... 5 minutes later they finally came without menu.

The Comptoir Libanais chain has been known for being a safe bet when it comes to Lebanese and Middle-Eastern cuisine. Being at the airport I was a bit cautious, as airport restaurants are mostly overpriced and not providing a proper experience.

This place is called counter, or canteen. This is not supposed to mean gastronomic restaurant, but more some place to eat something in an atmosphere. The seats do not shine by their comfort, and the decoration (very much like a Lebanese bazaar, with bags and other items for sale) and background songs do not shine by their discretion. The resulting atmosphere was ok given the mood of the present customer, but we can understand that this will not fit every people's wishes.

All the usual eateries on the concourse and this is one I didn't recignise so I thought I'd give it a go.

It’s a toss up between this place, the Italian next door or the heavily disguised ‘spoons down the way. I’ve eaten in all three and I’d say this is a pretty good spot. I had the veg breakfast with falafel in an attempt to be healthy - I’d say have the meaty one instead as the lamb sausages are excellent in the South Ken branch. The eggs had a reheated feel to them but otherwise it was a good solid repast. The tea arrives in a faintly Middle Eastern looking metal pot - ask for extra water as it’s v small. Can’t really fault the place - service is a little distracted but nothing chronic. It’s also quite a light, bright place unlike the competition.

It was most welcome to see something different at the airport and I had high hopes. The environment was great and the coffee excellent. However the fresh orange juice was weak possibly with added water and my French Toast Lebanese style was a poor one.

Considering the restaurant is based at terminal 4, the food especially the maze was delicious and interesting with good selection of dips and tasters. Also the Lebanonsee wine was tasty, which made for good meal before take off.

If you want more than a croissant but don't want a full English, try shakshouka, which is my favourite breakfast, very well executed by this restaurant a few days ago.

Haven’t had better for a long time. My advice to you would be don’t order too much and go for the prawns. Leave a helpful like and follow.

Me and a friend stopped by at Comptoir just to get a light meal and were really happy with the quality of the food and particularly the friendly service. Really great staff! We were served by Graziana and Venancio and they both made the visit really enjoyable. Food was served quickly, and was delicious. Thanks!

Prompt service and reasonably priced. This place was heaving whilst the restaurant next door was empty - there were also cabin crew in here which tells you all you need to know. The baba ganoush is fantastic and there's proper freshly squeezed orange juice.

To be honest I expected better quality. I know its the airport and the price/value ratio is not going to be good. But I was surprised that the chicken wrap was so poor. Or perhaps I should say not inspiring. Drinks were very expensive. I wont rush to return.

We had chicken wraps and a falafel wrap the salad was wilted there was hardly any chicken in the wrap the wrap itself was overcooked do it was hard to eat the manager gave us as compensation and a reduced bill but it wasn't good

Service from Jagwinder was fast & friendly, food was excellent (we had lamb & chicken grilled koftas) then dessert. Couldn't fault it probably some of the best airport food we've had!!

This is a must visit if you are at Terminal 4 and have some time. Nicely decorated, service is pleasant and the food is lovely. Fresh-tasting and nicely presented, had the mezzo platter for two. And their small deserts were lovely, we had a selection of six and quite enjoyed the date mini cake.

We decided to get something to eat before an evening flight. It was very busy, however, we were seated quickly. The decor is really nice and for a moment you forget you are in an airport! The menu had something for everyone especially for vegetarians and once ordered the food arrived quickly and was very tasty. A very welcome change to the usual airport junk food you get - not surprised it was popular. They also had a takeaway section, which would have been handy if we'd been in a rush to get to the gate.

Had a dinner before late evening flight. Food is reasonable, especially lamb burger, but it seem the management goal was to cram as many tables as possible, therefore it was very uncomfortable - guests and waiters had to squeeze behind people to get to the middle of the room, and one ends up facing guest at the next table almost face to face.

We stopped in here for a small meal prior to joining our flight, we didn't want a large meal just something to bridge the gap, my wife had a chicken dish and pronounced it excellent, I had the baba ganoush and to be honest this was the finest,smokiest and sweetest version I have ever had, I also had a small dish of chicken wings which were sweet, sticky,oily and just yummy, this all came with flatbread and was exactly what I wanted, I spoke to the lady boss and she told me that she prided herself on the quality and authenticity of the food. If we ever use terminal 4 again I shall make this the first stop.

Just had the most wonderful meze platter for two at this lovely little eatery in terminal 4.

Stopped off here are preferring the more authentic look and interior to somewhere like Café Apostrophe. The coffee is okay, very hot when served but no ice cube offered to the point where the coffee is absolutely scalding, it takes a while to cool down. Also, our barista did not offer to place a lid or cardboard ring on the cup, so we did that ourselves. Thought that might have been a courteous gesture. £2.45 for a regular Americano.

Stopped in late morning waiting for a flight and were very glad we did. We had the full breakfast wrap and the chicken Shish wrap with and both were a cut above ordinary airport food. Good coffee and tea options too. Ella, our server was a delight. Our breakfast was served quickly.

I had a layover at london airport. The menu at this place was very close to my comfort food so i went ahead with it. The food was awesome. I met a server there named mohamed who actually became my first friend in london. He was so bright and great to have a conversation with. It Helped my layover went by very smooth. Highly recommended place for good food and make new friends.

At Heathrow Terminal 4 we just wanted to change a little from the usual Costa Coffee and Caffe Nero, so we decided for this chain canteen, having time enough to sit down and have a proper meal.

We didny get any service at all. We picked upnour our menu and keep calling them. At the end we walked out of the restaurant and ate somewhere else. Very bad experience

I had a bowl of granola and a cup of tea early in the morning before my flight. Service was fast but the place was empty, other than a couple of other diners.

This was my first time visiting this mini chain. Great food choice and the lamb I had was excellent. I also loved the eclectic surroundings in the aircraft hangar that is terminal 4 at heathrow.

Tasted fine, but very miserly portion. Cost nearly ten pounds and I was still hungry afterwards. I get that you generally get ripped off in airports, but it's as if the company had stripped away at the ingredients until just the bare minimum was left, in order to make themselves a few more pennies.

Got to Terminal 4 at around 6.30 on Sunday evening and strolled around for somewhere to eat. When we saw this place my girlfriend and I thought it was a slam dunk, great vegetarian options and a Lebanese beer. Perfect.

We were really amazed at the quality of the food for airport food, yummy and reasonable price all things considered. Lovely home-made lemonades and gorgeous fresh peppermint tea, lovely houmus, perfect babaganouj and falafels that would rival anywhere, would definitely recommend the mezze platter for 2 and they easily adapted it to vegan dish, although I would say everything in there looked nice. You have to walk to the very end of the departure lounge, (after the security checks) to find it, well worth finding it out. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Terminal 4.

Nice casual atmosphere away from the usual airport food chains.Had a veggie breakfast with 2 fried eggs, hallumi, falafel and avocado with pita bread.Very well cooked and a good balance healthy-filling food.Highly recommend!

This place is tucked away in the corner of Terminal 4. My favourite place in Heathrow! Very nice food and nice staff. Very helpful service from Jack! Perfect place to hide from the busy crowd.

Heathrow has woken up to the fact that passengers want something decent to eat before flight - especially if airlines insist on charging for M&S sarnies and the like.Friendly, helpful, quick and efficient staff and very well prepared and served Middle Eastern staples. Got into chicken taouk through a lebanese friend a few years back and always stop off here for one before flying. Very tasty. Restaurant was busy but not too difficult to get served. Friendly waiting staff - Mohammed on the evening shift on Monday nights is a good guy. Bit pricey but hey, its London and you get what you pay for! Worth a visit if you want something other than sandwiches or burgers.

Had to have lunch before catching a flight in Terminal 4. First time to try Comptoir Libanais although had caught my eye around London. Proper authentic Lebanese, great quality, great portions, wonderful server with great recommnedations and the friendliest smile. Thank you Tiago!

While walking around T4 at LHR for a place to have dinner, we stumbled upon Comptoir Libanais (Lebanese Canteen). I am not an expert on Lebanese cuisine but the food certainly tasted good and definitely a good alternative to the usual eateries in T4. We tried their Mixed Grill, Lamb Kofta and Chicken Wings. There is takeaway or dine-in option. We dined in and the service is good and efficient. Give this place a try if you happen to be LHR T4.

We had a delicious lunch of flat bread and chicken kofta. The most memorable thing however was the service. Friendly, fast and informative Portuguese waiter explained the menu and how the fresh apple juice was made. It was a great experience on the final leg of our long journey home. Turn right after security and head to the end of the concourse.

I never tried the food here. There seemed to be two waitresses. They were constantly running around grabbing plates and bills while a single male server swayed in the wind behind the counter. I stood for ten minutes waiting for a seat while a queue formed. Not once did the waitresses bother to even look at us let alone say anything as simple as "be with you in a minute". Once the waitress did decide she was free enough to greet customers, she ignored the front of the line and seated a group of people from the middle. I walked away. Even if the food is reasonable (it looked ok, nothing special), I wouldn't recommend going. It's likely to leave you angry. I spent a fortune at another restaurant.

This is my go to restaurant at Heathrow Terminal 4. The food and service I get is exceptional . We were served by Tiago, who gave us ideas what to order, and it was a great choice. Highly recommend

A superb meal at a modest price. Never expected to find anything like this in an airport! Sophie had the mezze and I lamb kofta from the grill. Hard to decide which was most delicious. Service was prompt and unintrusive.

Me and my sister were going to Abu Dhabi it was an Afternoon flight but as we had to get there 3 hours before we left the house at 10.00am so only had breakfast. After checking in we waited around till 1.00 then decided to eat something. We needed something halal. We had never eaten here but it looked nice and prices were reasonable. The staff were a bit slow. But the burger and wrap was filling and delicious. And fresh. It was a perfect start to an amazing holiday. We relaxed. The atmosphere was nice. I would recommend it.

Oh my god, I feel so sorry for the staff here. The place is so understaffed, and packed, two servers are having a mental breakdown trying to manage everything.Note to management: sort it out. This is so mean! And people are taking it all out on the servers.The food is always good, but this branch needs serious attention.

I had a very nice lunch here. Also to kill time because I couldn't get an earlier flight and I had to wait about four hours. A small salad as a starter and a very tender grilled half chicken. Both very nice. Accompanied by carrot juice. The tables are a bit basic, but what to expect in the airport.

Usually when flying out, I tend to go for a quick sandwich but this place seemed intriguing. I had the chicken sharwama which was fresh and delicious. Their home made lemonade is great too.

I ordered some lamb kofta with vermicelli rice, it was really tasty but the portion was so small and for the price of £10 something, it was a rip off. The waiters ignore the restaurants customers quite habitually as I have observed. The rose mint tea was really nice.
