Absolutely loverly roast dinner couple that run it out talking to kids perfect for bite to eat with your family and the processo not to bad either hahaha

Our original plans had changed and my wife like the sound of this. What a lovely little restaurant. Small but not too close to each other. Service was great and the food was amazing. Definitely worth getting a table if you are nearby.

Another delicious meal lovingly prepared by George today, proudly served by Bianca and gratefully wolfed down by 3 of us. Anybody reading this that has not had the pleasure of eating here, make a reservation! The gluten free options are fabulous. The sticky toffee pudding....sublime.

We booked a Sunday lunch at Cwtch Llantwit Major and we must say the Sunday lunch was absolutely delicious as was the dessert. Everything was cooked to a high standard and the service was excellent. The chef was kind enough to come over to the table to check that we were happy with the food. We look forward to our next visit and will be recommending to family and friends.

A lovely and friendly welcome, and we had a table in the window too. Couldn't fault the food and the starters were delicious, especially my wife's salmon and créme cheese 😍. The roasts were superb, with plenty of veg and gravy. The meal was rounded-off with a lovely baked cheesecake. Great to support a local business 👏👏👏.

Another amazing Sunday Lunch, this time for Mothers Day. We all had the Lamb roast, cooked perfectly. The whole dish was superb, especially the roast potatoes and the Yorkshire pudding. We have eaten here many times and George and the team are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

We love The Cwtch - the food is excellent and George the chef/proprietor is first class. We’ve had Sunday lunch and evening dinner and it’s always very very good. Customer service is great and the ambience and decor is so cosy and intimate. George always comes to front of house after service to chat to all his customers which is a great touch. Wonderful place!

Returned to The Cwtch for the second time today and once again had a really lovely Sunday lunch. You can see the passion they have for their food and the chef made it feel very personable by talking to you and interacting with other diners. Can't wait to go back.

We regularly have a Sunday roast delivered to the house from The Cwtch and it is always delicious. The quality of the meat and vegetables are consistently excellent, the gravy is divine and the Yorkshire puddings are the best! This must be the best Sunday lunch in the Vale….I highly recommend.

We googled best restaurants near Ogmore on Sea and came across the Cwtch. We booked with ease over the phone for the next evening. The food was the best I have had in and around Cardiff. We have been to quite a few Michelin Star restaurants and I would choose this over them. Service was excellent. The chef personally checks that everything is as you like it. The tables are not overcrowded so you have your own space. Potion size is perfect. We will be visiting again very soon and telling friends about it. Highly recommend.

Wow what a Christmas Feast we had! George accommodated us very last minute for a meal on Christmas Day and it was honestly the best experience. Fabulous food and lovely staff in a lovely warm and welcoming environment. We have been previously for Sunday dinners which I would highly recommend!! We have even booked for next Christmas! We've eaten here several times, and today's Sunday Lunch was the best (as always). George and the team are so friendly. They are great with our toddler too, who also loves the food. We had the scallops and chorizo as a starter and the lamb and beef roast as mains. The food was incredible, delicious thick gravy, best roast beef we’ve had and the horseradish was amazing as well. The service was very good and friendly. We will definitely be coming back.
