Moira Restaurant in Tower Hamlets

The welcome was warm and the food amazing. Views from the upstairs showed all the buildings lights but downstairs was warm and cozy! Don’t leave without trying the baclava.

This is a beautiful restaurant. The food was nicely done to perfection. My only criticism would be the calamari, I had found it to have too much batter on it which didn’t make it particularly enjoyable. However, that being said I would definitely return, great food, drinks and lovely staff. Timur one of the waiters was amazing, very attentive, friendly and made my friends 50+ birthday one to remember.

I chose this restaurant as I wanted something different for my birthday meal We were going to the o2 for a gig but wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle of all the restaurants in the o2. Was greeted with a very warm welcome Shown to a table upstairs Ordered drinks & food Lovely hot pitta bread with lovely dips arrived that was really nice My starter of Turkish sausage was tasty, my wife’s feta fingers were nice too Then I had the Adana Kebabs omg they were lush, subtlety spiced but wow! Wife had the veggie moussaka which she enjoyed, pudding was Baklava again so nice melted in the mouth. Thanks for all the staff for a lovely meal I have already recommended this restaurant to some friends Definitely will come back when visiting the area 5⭐️ food, drinks and service!! Thanks so much

Fabulous place. Chewed slowly to make it last. Best lamb I have ever had, regardless of price. Wonderful service, was treated like a king. Couldn't choose between house wines so he let me try both. Best Margherita ever. Spent half of the evening sniffing the orange cest. What a great place. If we had this in Luxembourg, I'd stop cooking at home. Well done to the team, including the friendly guy upstairs. And the manager is a gem. Made the birthday group of girls feel very special. These guys deserve every success. Bravo!

My work friends and I regularly come over here for lunch. The staff - Murat, Baris and Jasmine are very attentive, we are always looked after well. The food is delicious and freshly cooked, and there’s a great variety to choose from. The place has a nice decor and clean.

What an amazing lunch at Moira! We were a group of 9 and our waiter Murat attended to our every need. The food is outstanding as is the service!!

Muy deliciosa comida, el personal era muy amable y profesional, la comida llegó rápido y el lugar estaba limpio y bonito. Parrilla para 2 era realmente lleno e incluso tenía comida para llevar a casa!

Mi esposa y yo hemos visitado este restaurante muchas veces en los últimos años y no tenemos nada más que cosas buenas que decir al respecto. Salimos a cenar la mayoría de los fines de semana en varios lugares, pero Moira’s es sin duda nuestro favorito. La comida es excelente, muy bien presentado y tan bueno. Buenos vinos y cócteles, pero lo que realmente hace que este lugar se destaque es el servicio. Es una joya escondida y si estás en la zona de Canary Wharf realmente debes visitarla.

Fuimos a ponernos al día con la familia y el servicio fue increíble! Los camareros son muy agradables y serviciales. Adicionalmente , la comida era suculenta y muy sabrosa. Recomiendo encarecidamente los platos para compartir que no se decepcionará! Nota complementaria: El servicio de Murat es espléndido.

Amazing food ! I ordered the mixed grill and a side of olives. The meat in the mixed grill was tender and the flavour of the seasonings was really good. There was also a nice accompaniment of bread and sauces served with the meal. I will be visiting again and would highly recommend others visit too.

This really is a gem of a restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff are kind and friendly. If this is your first experience of this cuisine be assured that the team will happily talk you through the menu.

Excellent food and great service from all and big shout out to our main server Murat! Seafood platter was delicious. Bread was melt in your mouth. Turkish beer Efes Draught delightful surprise.

A discovery, A gem, A perfection - venue, staff and food. I am not surprised the restaurant was full at 7pm on a Saturday night but space was found with such a warm welcome by several of the staff. We had a Metz to start with - all very tasty, all large in their offering, seven different items (my memory may not be perfect) including some crisp tubes filled with spinach and creamy cheese ... then maskaka - so perfect - melt in your mouth - and perfect pieces of roasted lamb. Simple but so satisfying. Plenty to serve we took some home for lunch on Sunday. House white wine was Turkish - good idea - dry and fresh. In a simple pleasant upstairs and down stairs with particularly brilliant staff who seemed always on the go.

We visited for a birthday and I have to say, the staff, the food and the the service was fantastic. Murat was our server, and he catered for all of our needs with a smile and amazing hospitality. Thank you again, and we will definitely be back soon!

For the past 3-4 weeks I’ve been traveling through Europe on holiday. I stumbled into this restaurant after a long day of travel. The food AND service did not disappoint. The falafel and hummus were by far the best I’ve found between Italy, UK, and France. They were unbelievably crisp and fresh - so, so good. The service was superior as well. Every staff member - (including the chef) who I spoke with briefly was incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back and will be recommending to my friends.

I’ve been to this restaurant many times with my family . Normally it’s great we get good service , hence us going back repeatedly . But yesterday it was horrendous the starters were presented very well , but the waiter was very sarcastic , the table wasn’t set with cutlery so he said “you don’t mind eating with your hands do you”this was the older waiter whom we only saw once . But then the main meal came I had ordered seabase and replaced the new potatoes for chips ( which I was charged extra for”” btw”” The meal was so badly presented the chips were cold and old the fish was just pan fried absolutely no taste .. no “ frills “will maybe a bit of garnishing . I was so sick when I got home vomiting all night I’m sure the fish wasn’t fresh or was frozen and not defrosted . Same with my son’s meal he ordered the chicken skewers which was the same lacking presentaion and flavour .

Good food and great atmosphere from staff. I always recommend this restaurant to CW travelers, as I believe if it considerably better than local alternatives and hotels. Almost always have prawn starter with complimentary bread. it is a great dish. Lamb chops, salmon and mixed meat dish are very good. Grilled and slow cooking means it will be likely overcooked when you asked for MR, so worth considering when ordering. Rob. Love this medium cost restaurant. Rob.
