The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in England

Ordered at 7.15pm and it arrived within half an hour. I had the seafood taglatteli and garlic bread with cheese. To say it was filling and tasty is an understatement. Also it came in smart containers, not your usual foil cartons. It was the best take away I have had for months. Will definitely be ordering again.

First visit to this restaurant. I tried the chicken platter and it was delicious, and generously served too. Every ingredient was perfect and tasty: the veggies, the rice and of course the chicken. The staff is friendly and service is fast. Recommended.

Excellent fresh falafel and shawarma. Better than one in neighbour curry mile. Lovely owner and you can tell he puts heart into his food.

Pleased to find three Vegetarian options on the menu. Ellie went the extra mile to adapt the menu to cater to the likes of our American friends. We all had Falafel Salads and they were absolutely delicious. We only lacked the weather to sit outside with a wonderful view, but that was beyond everyone’s control. Well, what can I say? Possibly the best restaurant I've partaken at and I've eaten at some amazing European Restaurants in my time including in Milan which takes some beating. Gerald welcomed me and immediately offered wine - I asked for a Pinot G. and he said no, have a glass of Flores De Catalina - which I had, and from on, I just did what I was told, lol. Fab wine - great learning curve. Bettina who was assisting came onto the scene in this small, elegant, friendly, and down-to-earth restaurant that in my opinion outranked all the restaurants I tried in Warwick. It's a set menu and you have what you are given (of course they ask about allergies). Six courses as follows on this particular evening: 1. Heritage tomatoes with pine nuts and crunchy stuff - how can toms taske so wonderful - OMG - and they did 2. Peruvian tuna sushi style - my tastbuds did an overture on this dish - wow! 3. Crazy Meatball with Mascarpone sauce, smoked cheese and hummus - gorgeous dish. 4. Crevettes to die for - prepared to get in a mess but you get little sachets of wipes. 5. Can't quite read my description notes on this but something like: Lamb shoulder, goats cheese and buttery truffle - which basically Gerald said was equivalent to a posh shepherds pie - posh? You bet - it was orgasmic. 6. Dessert - lemon posset with limoncello and lemon shortbread - wow. I'm not really into sweet things but this was an exeption. Along the way had several more glasses of the excellent wine. Chatted with Gerald and Bettina and have to say they made my solo visit to their restaurant extremely enjoyable. Wear loose clothing and prepare to diet. PS - The proprietor was kind enough to thank me via text for this review. He had my number I texted the restaurant the booking. And 'thank you' shows how good this restaurant is.

Superb food, very popular, always busy.

Very kindly slotted the two of us in without a reservation. The six dishes (chicken, meat balls, salad, bread & oils, prawns & another) we chose were just the right amount. And try the lemon meringue to finish & you won't be disappointed. Again, the service was exemplary - there must be something about Richmond.

Nice food, well presented, well cooked and hot. Servers well trained. Nice position in the village.

Two out of the three meals we ordered were incorrect. My husband has dairy allergy so instead of mash asked for chips, but still got mash, I asked for chicken with salad but got lamb with rice!!!

A lovely little cafe with no-nonsense food, a friendly atmosphere and truly excellent chips.
