Amazing place with friendly staff. Truly enjoyed my dinner here with authentic Greek flavours and attentive staff. The lamb shank was incredible and the wine pairing was spot on.

First time dining here, came with my mum, brother and my partner. The food was good and the place was pretty clean. Jordan was our server and was standout! Excellent attitude, made the experience better.

Love love love this place. We booked the downstairs room for mums big birthday and wow! Amazing service and food, we were looked after so well. Waiters were fabulous and then he brought out the music requests. Well it was Greek music for us every day of the week. Then Mama Mia songs of course. We had one of the best nights we have ever had. Can't fault it at all. A birthday eve we will never forget. Thank you to everyone xx

Gr/eat in name and great in delivery. From the greeting right through to the farewell. We ordered the Olympus sharing platter and wow it was fit for the gods, there was nothing that we did not enjoy, the Greek sausage, lamb chops and the kebab were all delicious as was the chicken skewer. I finished off with baklava expecting the usual inch square….oh! no a proper slice of homemade loveliness. As you can tell I am a fan and we will definitely be back….. soon.

Wonderful authentic Greek food and welcome. My parents lived in Greece for many years and love this place. Gluten free was very clearly labelled and lots of choice!

Fantastic properly prepared and cooked Greek food. Calamari, grilled sea bream and chicken souvlaki all wonderful. Greek desserts were fabulous. Been coming here regularly and cannot recommend enough!

We had lunch and dinner here. Grilled prawns, chicken souvlaki, Greece salad, pita bread, tzatziki, grilled beef and Greece sausages. Every single dish was super delicious. Definitely recommend. No wonder they are always busy. Staff are friendly and caring, Viki served us both times and she was so lovely with recommendations and looking after every table. Can’t wait to come back here again next time we visit Eastbourne

What a good choice we made this evening, from the moment we've arrived we knew it was okay. The staff were all very friendly and the food was really good. From starters till dessert it really was delicious. We made a reservation online in only a few minutes.

Absolutely recommend this restaurant! I wanted to have some fresh, nicely grilled seafood with proper spices for my birthday dinner and THIS PLACE WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT🙌🏼 The food was just so fresh and we were also happy with the portion size. Those prawns and squids… and the octopus leg? My goodness, it couldn’t be better🤌🏻 So juicy, moist but tender and well cooked!! That octopus leg reminded me of those I had in Spain. It was that good! And the lady who was serving, she was the friendliest and the most helpful server ever. Very very pleased with the whole experience and hope to visit again!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great place, treat yourself to dessert

Visited this afternoon for the first time. The lovely servers kept the kitchen open a few minutes for us and they were so lovely and gave us everything we wanted! A lovely lovely spot for amazing Greek food & an amazing people watching spot ❤️

I recently had lunch at a delightful Greek restaurant in Eastbourne, UK, and it was a fantastic experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with beautiful Mediterranean decor that set the perfect tone for our meal. The staff were friendly and attentive. Terminus Road has always boasted good restaurants in Eastbourne. Ever since I was a teenager it was the place to find good restaurants. Now there is another to add to the list. We had passed by some time ago and decided we would try it one day. The sun was shining and the outside dining area looked great. However a large seagull was lurking on a table so we went inside. We were immediately greeted and seated at a table for two , the music was playing softly in the background, it was busy but not crowded. Just perfect . The waitress was lovely and took our order quickly . We did not order drinks but she delivered a tall carafe of cold water which she later replaced when empty without being prompted. We were told there would be a 25 minute wait for the platter but it was delivered within 15 minutes. It was delicious, two chicken kebabs, two Greek sausages, two other sausages , chips , dips and salad with pittas. The three dips were, paprika, a lovely sweet yellow mustard and zatziki. It was very tasty. We saw the Chef delivering the food , and what impressed me was that , he stopped to talk to some diners and he cleared empty plates from tables too. I like to eat, big portions and there was enough for me , even though I did have more chips than my wife. I have to add it would have been greedy to have eaten it all , so the waitress offered us a takeaway foil box . So to sum up quickly . It was a really great , ( get it ! ) experience. Lovely atmosphere, good home cooked food full of flavour , piping hot , in a family style restaurant, delivered in a timely fashion by efficient staff. I would recommend it to families and singles. Go on treat yourself , avoid others until you have tried it , please . You must try the lunch time menu its excellent. Add a bottle of Mythos and you're on a winner.

We really enjoyed our experience . It was a 70th birthday celebration. We were very well taken care of. The restaurant also had a lively atmosphere so clearly very popular! They also happily catered for the vegans in our party.

While I am not willing to give this rating, I am writing this review in the public interest in the hope that many people will not experience unpleasant feelings similar to mine. If you visit this restaurant, you may encounter an unimaginably unpleasant experience due to the staff's emotions, attitudes, or perceptions. I visited this restaurant after completing my master's degree in London and was on a week-long holiday with my husband in Eastbourne. There was a narrow two-seater in the middle of the hall where the staff invited us to sit, but I wanted to spend some more quality time with my husband and to sit in the cozy four-seater seat on the edge. However, the staff told me in a furious tone and expression that all the other seats were fully booked and that he should reserve the seats I wanted for the customers who walked in without reservations. Following an embarrassing and unpleasant encounter, my husband and I left because we no longer wanted to stay there. On my way back to the hotel after an intimate and nice dinner somewhere else, I had a chance to look inside this restaurant, and I noticed two people sitting in the exact seats I had requested but was denied, and all the seats in the hall were still empty. I feel NAUSEATED just imagining eating there. Suppose you want a tremendous Greek cuisine experience and a beautiful Instagram photo. In that case, I encourage you to visit a Greek restaurant just around the corner that is friendly, much more vibrant, more authentic and serves excellent taste. And I sincerely hope that your journey, which should be the happiest, will not be tainted by unpleasant experiences.

Best Greek food I've tasted in years

Had an excellent lunch here. Can recommend the meat sharing platter which was enormous and looked and tasted wonderful. Good selection of desserts as well.

Amazing welcome & service. Our waitress was delightful. Someone collected our coat & return them at the end without having to ask. Restaurant was warm. We had the 3 courses set shared menu. Amazing starters, utterly delicious chicken, tasty beef, lovely chips. We were offered a take away box as we couldn't possibly finish the beef. The only thing I didn't really enjoy & was limited in choice was the dessert But I will definitely go back! Thank you for a great evening 😊

Another delicious meal at Great, enjoyed by us both. The evening began with a warm welcome from the owner and then continued excellent service from the brilliant staff. We started with the delicious dips platter, and then followed that with beef stifado and prawn saganaki. Delicious and authentic, we love this restaurant and recommend it all the time.

First came here on a recommendation from a friend and have been back several times since. I wouldn’t usually venture up to this part of town but this place is worth a visit. Excellent souvlaki and mixed grill, great flatbread, salad and dips. Generous portions too - decent value for money. Service good but there can be a bit of a wait on food during busy periods. Would recommend.

When you are away on holiday and you find your ideal restaurant and you say I wish we had a restaurant like this at home. Well you have. We will be going back regularly.

Visited Eastbourne last year and tried to book this restaurant but it was to busy, this time we booked in advance and so pleased we did, everyone is so friendly and service was excellent. We shared a platter and hubby declared it was the best lamb chops he had ever had. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to return again next year

This is by far my favourite restaurant in Eastbourne and can only be recommended. If with friends, as a couple or with family, this is the place to go to as it never disappoints. The service, atmosphere and the food are lovely and we have been yesterday and the new menu is to die for. I can definitely recommend the Metaxa chicken which is a dish I usually get in Germany but have not found at any Greek restaurants in the UK so far..until now. The chicken Shish, seafood platter, beef stifado are also absolutely amazing! And definitely the feta cheese for starters! The downstairs has also recently been decorated and is beautiful and perfect for parties! A must place to go when in Eastbourne but book in advance not to get disappointed as it can get really busy!

Really lovely food and excellent , friendly service. There is a wide range of choices especially for meat & fish , Veggie starters good , generous portions . Recommend the aubergine dip . In addition , wine is reasonably priced .
