A must try for any one who lives in Barnsley!

First visit here. Made welcome. Relaxed and casual dining. Large menu choices. Mediterranean influences and Greek /Turkish specialities. Large selection of cakes patties.

One of the best meals I've ever had! Lovely atmosphere in restaurant, great service too. The meal was simply amazing. I had the mushrooms and pancetta starter and it was so very tasty. Then my fillet steak was ullnof flavour and was cooked to absolute perfection, along with it's sauce. We shared a lovely bottle of house white, while others in my party enjoyed garlic bread, mozarella, pasta and a beautiful seabass dish. I really couldn't be happier about the food I ate.

The food at this place is the best Turkish I’ve ever had, I’m ashamed to say this was my first visit to Mardini, but it certainly won’t be the last. The chef was so accommodating when my son in law asked for something wasn’t on the menu, the waitresses were so friendly & polite, I can’t recommend this place high enough, & can’t wait to go back.

Family celebration for my aunts 90th birthday and what a great time we had. Service excellent. The young team of staff went way above what was expected to make sure it was a real family celebration including decorating the table and making a fantastic entrance with the birthday cake at the end of the evening Food was great. Well presented and everyones meal was piping hot. The staff made sure it was a relaxed experience by allowing us a lovely interval between courses to chat and relax Thank you Bay Tree for making my aunt's birthday so special. We'll be back for the next family get together without a doubt

Baked feta and lamb shank were superb, couldn't accommodate all requests for allergy reasons but service was excellent. The restaurant reply is exactly the reason for mentioning the allergy, onions are a base ingredient in many restaurants we've visited and more often, than not, found an alternative. Not ungrateful, but needs to be considered if you are thinking of visiting and have an allergy.

Waas an amazing meal, plenty of delicious food, great atmosphere and very helpful staff

I was quite disappointed when we visited as a family group. I had an open Gyros with mixed meat, my wife had a Lamb Kefte. The whole meal was dry and the mixed meat was just a mixture of pork. At around £30 per head I won’t be rushing back. We were overloaded with chips and Pitta, it needed more dips. The place was busy for a Tuesday evening, and the Just Eat and Uber service appeared to work efficiently.

Visited and we had a great experience from stay to finish. The service was amazing throughout. Friendly, prompt and very welcoming. Food was all food and very good portions. The service was very friendly. Very patient despite a few small changes to change. Really enjoyed it and applause for the evening.
