Family celebration for my aunts 90th birthday and what a great time we had. Service excellent. The young team of staff went way above what was expected to make sure it was a real family celebration including decorating the table and making a fantastic entrance with the birthday cake at the end of the evening Food was great. Well presented and everyones meal was piping hot. The staff made sure it was a relaxed experience by allowing us a lovely interval between courses to chat and relax Thank you Bay Tree for making my aunt's birthday so special. We'll be back for the next family get together without a doubt

Was told about this little gem and booked last minute. Very warm welcome from the minute we stepped in. The service was outstanding. The food menu was plentiful to choose from but the five stars goes to the food. Beautiful and plentiful and piping hot. Not even expensive. Good luck to this lovely place and we will be back.

We went for a family meal in February and used a gift voucher we had been bought for Christmas. All 8 of us had a great meal, clean plates all round. I was particularly thrilled to see and choose a vegetarian mezze, as I thought that I might struggle for a meal without meat or fish. It had plenty of different tastes on the plate. The resteraunt has a nice cosy atmosphere and the staff are attentive but not over bearing. I would highly recommend Bay tree.

Great little Greek restaurant. Went on Mezze night but main menu items are also available. We enjoyed the Hercules Meat platter and 5 plates. Good value and very tasty food. Will definitely be paying another visit.

We were a party of 10 celebrating a 70 th birthday. Lots of choice on the menu and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. First class food and first class service from Joe and his team. We will definitely return.

Extremely generous portions. Beautifully freshly prepared traditional Greek Fayre. I had the Minotaur breakfast and other than being slightly overfaced by the sheer size of my breakfast I absolutely loved it !!! The warm, fresh humous was the best I’ve ever tasted!!!

What can i say, service like this doesnt come around very often in this day and age, i was greeted by a polite young lady, i believe her name was orla, (unsure if this is spelt right) , i had ordered the meatballs and they were fantastic, (i will soon be booking a return), as far as customer service went they were all fantastic and did not step a foot wrong all night, cannot wait for my return!

I have been to the Bay Tree for coffee, lunch, their Mezze night & evening meal. Each time I have received a warm welcome with excellent food & service. I do love Greek food and I have tried something different on each visit, but they offer something for everyone. In the daytime it has a cafe feel, but at night it transforms into a cosy bistro.

Excellent food, with a candle lit environment. All arrived perfectly on the plate. Service was first class and I would recommend anyone to go.

Food was good service was good . Bit expensive. Had a bottle of wine really expensive. But they did drown the gin with Lemonade. Nice for a treat but bit expensive on the pocket

The absolute best breakfast out. The Shakshuka is Devine and their pitta breads are like they’ve been made onsite. Worth a drive out to get here.

We booked this venue for a private party. The space was great and gave us a private area to enjoy with its own bar and toilet. Everything was as described by Joe when I booked. Staff knew what they were doing and made me feel at ease that all was in hand. When the food came out everyone was commenting on how good it was… 21 very happy customers, including our two children. The rest of the restaurant was fully booked but this did not affect the standards we received. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were all really helpful. A big thank you to Joe and everyone involved for making it a lovely night for us to enjoy.

I attended a private function. The food was delicious and the service was excellent, the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. The space was a good size for our group of 20ish people. Very much enjoyed myself and will definitely be back!

First time we've eaten here and I was extremely impressed. Definately five stars all round. Service was excellent I can not fault them. The food was cooked and presented beautifully. We had the meze sharing platter to start followed by the beef stifardo. The portion sizes are plentiful. The restaurant was full with three large birthday party groups making the atmosphere vibrant. We booked to return for a Christmas night out. Brilliant thankyou.

We dined at this great restaurant tonight, and we can't wait to come back. The food, service, and ambience were all perfect. The prices are very reasonable and if you like Greek food then definitely try this lovely, family run, restaurant. My wife and I shared the meze starter and then had Moussaka and the Lamb Kofta main course. Our friends shared some dips and then had the Cod and the Stifado. All gorgeous!

Just come back from a family meal to celebrate a birthday and had a lovely time. Joe was brilliant at getting 24 people (including children) booked in and was so helpful each and every time I needed to make changes or had enquiries. Georgia was so accommodating on the day and made the night extra special with little touches. Everyone's food was amazing and brought out timely and as pre ordered. The staff (who I learnt on the way out were brand new on the night) were fantastic! So welcoming, attentive and professional. It was really all in all a great night thanks to everyone who clearly works so hard at the restaurant. The place is a real gem and we will definitely be back and would recommend without hesitation. Love this little Greek restaurant, the staff are so helpful and attentive. Me and my Sister dropped in at Tea time ,we hadn't booked and was told they were full . We obviously were very disappointed but the staff were so great they managed to russel up a table for us . Thank you again !! Such customer care ! The meal was delicious as always and the cocktails were fab too .thanks again !

Great place!! Great food. Extremely friendly staff, especially max who made sure we were topped up with drinks. We had the lamb koftas which were 10/10. The atmosphere was absolutely perfect for date night too! Will definitely be going back soon!!!

Our absolute favourite place to eat, lovely food, great service and great atmosphere. We have been coming for years, finally got round to leaving a review but this place is a must for anyone wanting authentic home made Greek food, it's delicious!

Really enjoyed the shepherd's breakfast. Only thing I would say is it can get quite salty but I think that's just because of the type of sausage used

If you love authentic Greek style food then this is the place for you! A top-class, family run restaurant with a friendly, intimate atmosphere and delicious food. We've visited multiple times over the last few years and have never been disappointed. I can guarantee you won't leave hungry! Definitely try the Baklava!

The restaurant is clean and tidy, though think it needs some decorating in places. Plenty of space between tables so you're not listening to other people's conversations. The staff are friendly. The menu is quite varied.

Tried this place for the 1st time for lunch and was impressed. Only a relatively small place so you would expect service to be good , which it was. Quality of food was excellent, plenty of choice of both food and drink. Reason for 4/5 is I’m looking forward to going again to try some other food and see if they are consistent, if so then a 5/5 will be in the offing. We had the Gyros stack, which was fresh and very tasty, good sized portions for the cost.

We went a year a go to the day, food was amazing. We came back yesterday and was disappointed, the starters were good but mains felt like they were making cost savings. Chicken kebabs were chopped chicken thigh, which is fine but there wasn't much of it. The chips were hard and barely got any salad. It felt like it came straight out of the takeaway rather than cooked for a restaurant. Service was good but not sure I would come back, which is a shame as I love greek food.

Very average. As someone whose been to greece i was disappointed with the food, the moussaka wasnt good at all. Puddings looked nice though. Think ypu pay for location not the quality. Wont be going back.

Absolutely beautiful meal, so fresh and wonderful efficient service. The best mussels we have ever had and the swordfish with pesto was to die for. The canapes and cocktails were also delicious.

Had a really lovely evening at the Bay Tree bar and Bistro, the food was excellent we were a party of sixteen and the service was amazing, we were all served at once no waiting the staff were on the ball as to who had ordered what. Our food was really good and presented well and well cooked everyone was happy with what they had ordered, and there was a great atmosphere, a really lovely place to eat looking forward to going back soon.

Just attended for our family Christmas meal. Food was absolutely superb, cannot rate the food highly enough. This place seriously is a hidden gem! I will certainly be returning, hungry for more! Can’t wait. Thank you to the hardworking staff who, despite being busy, were the right level of attentive.

After reading some of the reviews I must have gone to a different restaurant, We went with a group of friends on a Saturday night and after having to pre order our meals we bought over priced drinks from the bar and sat down to have our meals, I had ordered the mixed grill which arrived looking very sorry, it appeared to have been cooked previously and then warmed up before serving and was mostly dry, the chips were like nails and the meat very dry accompanied by two small tasteless dips. the only hot part of the meal was the sausage it was difficult to ascertain if it was a mixed grill or an attempt at a Greek dish but it failed on both counts, there was two pieces of pitta which were toasted which is a first for me on a mixed grill no mushrooms no tomato and a small amount of what appeared to be salad a few olives, sliced onion and some garnish. This is an honest review from someone who has spent the last 30 years visiting Greek Islands and Greek mainland and to try and pass this food off as Greek I find it misleading. John

Took my partner here for the first time for her birthday meal. We are both new to the Greek food scene and all I can say is OMG AND WOW, the food is tasty and out of this world. A very romantic setting, the staff are polite, attentive and very welcoming. We enjoyed every minute of our time here, the staff know exactly what they are talking about and their recommendations suited our taste buds. Keep up the good work and we will see you again soon.

Just a wonderful, family-run Greek restaurant - fabulous food, fantastic service, though, a victim of its own success in that it's always packed out, so trying to enjoy chatting to a loved one over an intimate meal is not necessarily that easy...

5 of us ate here and every one of us enjoyed our food! It was cooked to perfection. We have a vegetarian and a fussy eater but with the varied menu there was something for all of us. Staff were really friendly and attentive.
