The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in London

The meal was a truly exceptional experience from the moment our party of 6 arrived. The service was faultless, and our server was tirelessly patient and helpful, explaining dishes and offering advice to ensure our meal was spot on. Every well conceived dish was an adventure in flavours, with the Smoked Hispi and Lahmacun with Oklava Salad particular favourites. The restaurant was full but it made no difference to the speed of service from the open kitchen. It was refreshing to find such a professional team that made you forget there was ever such a thing as lockdown or staff shortages.

Found this little gem on Bexley High Street a while ago and was blown away by the food quality. Whether it is a Sunday roast Mediterranean style, the garlic mushrooms or the Monday steaks, the cooking is amazing. The owners are friendly and the service excellent. The upstairs room can get a little noisy but nothing to stop you going. Highly recommended for a great tasting, very reasonably priced dining experience.

A very pleasant place with an authentic atmosphere and delicious food. The roasted hummus was also very good.

Was in the Ilford area running errands and spotted this restaurant just off Cranbrook Road. Decided to pop in for a feed as I’m huge fan of Mediterranean food but hadn’t tried Albanian cuisine before. I ordered the Beef Hot Pot with a side of olives. The hot pot arrived absolutely sizzling, so presentation was on-point. Wonderfully warm and soft bread rolls also came with the dish, which acted as the perfect accompaniment to the sensational sauce of the hot pot (tart, cheesy and lush - how I imagine an Albanian mum would make for her kids on a cool night). The olives were well-seasoned and the restaurant also has a range of Albanian drinks. Tried Bravo Strawberry which tasted like pure strawberry juice in a can. Nice option to wash down the feed. This place was a great intro into Albanian cuisine and I’d go out of my way to visit Tirana again when the mood strikes. 10/10 recommend.

It is in the middle of bazaar. I had a chicken wrap which was ok and normal, not something special.

Me and my partner visited for my birthday. This was the second time I’ve been and picked this place again because I loved it so much the first time I needed to go back. Everything from the food down to the service was genuinely amazing and 10/10 . The chef even brought out a free dessert with a candle in for my birthday which was very kind and really made our night. We will definitely be back

Ordered take away. Will not repeat. Cedar mixed grill was very disappointing. Meat was over salty, kebabs made of low quality meet and so salty I binned them. Other meat was below average. I am regular customer of Lebanese restaurants. This is not what I expect. Sorry guys. Won’t order again.

The food is delicious and portions are generous. The service is excellent, been here several time and I'll definitely go again. I would say prices are above average but the quality makes it worth it. Also, they don't try to scam you like other places with automatic service charges added on the bill. All in all, extremely good restaurant that I can't recommend enough.

The staff very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. So tasty and full of flavour. Prices where reasonable. Located very close to the troxy theatre. Would recommend.
