Great place to have some Mediterranean Food! From the Starters / Mains and Dessert everything was amazing! Be warned- Do Not go alone to this place as the portions are big enough to share.🥰 The staff we were warm and welcoming and helpful, service was amazing. We were one of the first ones there and last ones to leave and not once did we feel rushed as they were waiting for us to finish our drinks. Highly recommend to go here 🥂

Visited for a family birthday, stylish decor and friendly service, food a bit mixed but decent portions, favourite dish was the creamy mushroom starter, didn't enjoy having the coffee already poured over the icecream when ordering affogato as it was basically a dish of cold coffee. Nice local restaurant with a great atmosphere

I feel obliged to write a review not to warn others off but be wary of the so-called moussaka. I love moussaka, recognise it varies throughout the Mediterranean countries, but their offering bore no relation to anything you might call moussaka. It wasn't even worthy of naff shepherds pie status, it was that awful. Topped with a mass of plastic cheese, barely a sign of aubergine but filled out with potato and courgette. The mince was bland, I was probably the worst dish I have ever been served in a restaurant. However my friends largely had barbecued meat and were all very happy. The lesson of the evening is if you want barbecued meat its fine but if you want anything vaguely Med this is unlikely to satisfy. I have given it 2 stars because our group were generally content but personally it was hugely disappointing and I hope we look elsewhere in future.

Visited as a party of 6 for a family birthday. Beautiful decor unrecognisable from the estate agents it used to be! Drinks and starters brought quickly. Most of the food was enjoyed, particularly the creamy mushrooms. Grilled halloumi was rather bland and needed some chilli or seasoning. Main courses were generous portions although sea bass was a bit overcooked. Puddings were weakest course, tiramisu was bland and too creamy, and afogato was served with the coffee already added to the icecream rather than separately which turned it into a lukewarm coffee milkshake. Service was friendly and it was nice to see a neighbourhood restaurant so busy. Tableware and cutlery is very stylish but the knives are quite unbalanced so not comfortable to use. A good local asset though.

Last minute decision to eat out with my husband on a Tuesday night. Vera doesn't disappoint. Food excellent. Such a full menu it was hard to decide. Service excellent too as always!

We came here for our very first time last night for our wedding anniversary & it definitely wont be our last! We were greeted with such a lovely warm welcome & given a choice of where we would like to sit. This is such a beautiful little gem of a restaurant with a great ambience, beautiful decor and a lovely vibe. We had magnificent plates of food, fine wine and excellent service. The presentation of food was absolutely superb and the crockery, cutlery and glasses were second to none! We didn't have any cocktails but they looked banging! Disappointed that allergies do not seem to be taken seriously. Despite being sent a questionnaire prior to dining asking if we had any allergies and the menu appearing to state the allergens in items, ie GF, we were surprised to receive our desserts and find they had nuts on and around them. These were not on the menu. It is frightening eating out with a food allergy. This is a great restaurant, but they need to improve their standards in this area.

This is a new restaurant and serves mainly Turkish food. The service is always great and they have an amazing choice of cocktails. The restaurant has a great decor and the menu has lots of choices to suit everyone. We’ve visited a couple of times now and really enjoy it, the food is really tasty and the choice of cocktails make it a great evening out. There seem to be a lot of Turkish/Greek/Grill restaurants around at the moment but we really enjoy this one better, it’s not too noisy and the atmosphere is just right.

Group of 6 for Friday night . Busy but attentive good service . Nice friendly atmosphere. We ordered between us starters of mussels , calamari , scallops. Mains were chicken shish , prawns , pasta & steak . The cocktails were so nice !!! Coming again soon !!!!

We’d found Vera’s Restaurant a couple of months ago when celebrating my wife’s 60th birthday, having heard about it via friend’s recommendations. Nicely decorated, modern and stylish. Friendly, smiling staff members greeting us when arrived, the restaurant was busy, but comfortably relaxed Last night we celebrated my 60th birthday we had a table of 12 and all thoroughly enjoyable time. Great cocktails, great menu, great service and great value for money. You won’t be disappointed ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect meal with fantastic service. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was clean and tidy and very well looked after. All 5 of us had completely clear plates after and thanked the kitchen staff for a wonderful meal.

Our second visit to this restaurant…. Fantastic welcome Fantastic cocktails 🍹 Delicious food I can recommend the mozzarella starter And definitely the mushroom and asparagus risotto There was 5 of us had a wonderful meal and great espresso martinis We will return

Went for daughter's 21st birthday. 8 of us in the party. Have been a few times before and it didn't disappoint. Starters were excellent - scallops were cooked perfectly as were the mussels in a white wine sauce. Asparagus was al dente and very delicious. A range of mains from carbonara, risotto and lamb cutlets to mixed shish kebabs. All were well cooked, tasty and beautifully presented. Admittedly, it's not a cheap night out but for excellent customer service and good food and atmosphere, I feel well worth the cost. They even decorated my daughter's pudding with a firework candle and played "Happy Birthday" which was a nice touch. The only issue is I have is that there is alcohol free beer and cocktails on the menu but as a non beer drinker and someone who doesn't want a sweet drink, I would like to see a non-alcoholic prosecco for me to feel more included. However, that being said, the attention to detail of the staff is second to none.

VERY DISAPOINTED AFTER BOOKING FOR 5 ADULTS AND 3 CHILDREN FOR A MOTHERS DAY CELIBRATION WE COULD NOT GET IN THE RESTAURANT. WE BOOKED FOR 6.30PM BUT WERE CALLED TO SAY OUR BOOKING WAS DELAYED FOR HALF AN HOUR. WE WAITED THE HALF HOUR AND THEN WENT TO THE RESTAURANT ONLY TO FIND THAT NOT ONLY HAD WE BEEN HELD UP BUT THERE WERE ANOTHER 20 OR MORE CUSTOMERS WAITING TO BE SEATED. IT WAS NOW 7.15PM AND THE CHANCE OF A TABLE WAS NIL. WE HAD TO LEAVE AND FIND FOOD ELSEWHERE WHICH PROVED TO BE VERY DIFFICULT AS IT WAS MOTHERS DAY. THE CHILDREN WENT IN TO MELT DOWN AND THE WHOLE EVENING TURNED IN TO A DISASTER AND SPOILT THE WHOLE OF MOTHERS DAY. IT IS OBVIOUS THAT VERA HAD OVER BOOKED WITHOUT REGARD TO ITS CUSTOMERS. AS REGULAR CUSTOMERS WE ARE GOING TO GIVE THE RESTAURANT A VERY WIDE BIRTH FOR A LONG TIME. VERA THANKS FOR SPOILING OUR DAY. ALAN PAGE

Casual night out with friends- nice interior and bigger than I thought it would be. Nice staff and good food. It was very busy - it was a Saturday night_-cocktails good too. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We will try it again in a few months.

I love this place! We have been a few times now and every time we’ve tried something different on the menu. Each dish has been absolutely delicious every time. I usually go with my boyfriend (including on Valentine’s Day and the ambience was lovely) however this week we went as quite a big family group. The service was just as excellent as always and everyone was very happy with their food. The staff are so friendly and attentive and the greeting is always warm. The cocktails are also really good! Great atmosphere and a really nice place all round

Came here with the wife and kids for a Sunday dinner and wasn’t disappointed! The steak and lamb were delicious and cooked perfectly. The kids had spag Bol, carbonara, and a burger, and they didn’t leave any of it behind. Portion sizes were spot on Great service and really friendly staff. Even gave the kids a lolly on the way out Looking forward to coming back. Lovely little restaurant to have locally

This was our forth visit and again there was no room for disappointment. The food was excellent (although smaller portions this time) Their cocktails were superb great evening in all

First visit and we weren’t disappointed! Cocktails were delicious, Staff were efficient and accommodating and at no point did we feel rushed; very relaxing. Food was tasty, reasonably priced and beautifully presented. For a three course meal, at least two cocktails each ( happy hour!) and a bottle of wine, the total person was just over £55. Will definitely be visiting again! A great addition for restaurants in the local area and within walking distance!!

I've been here three times now and the food is always amazing and great portion sizes too. It really is very good value for money. The decor is really beautiful and it feels special. It feels lovely and spacious and on some nights there is a live singer. The cocktails are amazing but a bit on the expensive side. That said, they do have special offers on their cocktails. I think I will end up being a regular!

Positive feedback first! Lovely staff, beautiful venue … Food was over cooked, underwhelming and over priced. There are two neighbouring Turkish restaurants that are great! Vera needs to step up! The prices are so much higher Smoque sheish is £17 Vera is £22! And my local kebab serves tastier and better quality meat! It’s a shame, but every dish fish and meat were over cooked. Unfortunately we won’t be returning.

Beautifully decorated, very comfortable, good customer service. Food very expensive and portion sizes quite small. 12% service charge added to the bill.

3 couples went out for a meal together we love to go to a Turkish restaurant and we’re so pleased to find this one, cocktails are lovely, food was great and the staff are brilliant. Definitely will return

Beautifully decorated . Lots of promotions on for different nights . We went on Thursday as fancied trying out all the cocktails! Shared a meze platter too . Cocktails were fab ! Will revisit !

Was really excited to visit this new restaurant. The decor is great, they have clearly spent a lot of money on this place but the food and service is disappointing and put us off going back. My friend had the chicken shish which is expensive compared to other local places. It was very dry. She could only eat half. I had the steak and it smelt a little funny. I have lots of experience at steak restaurants and buy from meat suppliers, this just didn’t seem very fresh. I also work for a food manufacturer and the chips and peppercorn sauce was not home made and tasted like one of the cheap own label brands. Very bland. When the waitress came over to take our plates, I was honest about the food and said I thought it would be good to give feedback especially as they are new. She didn’t really seem bothered even when I asked to inform the chefs. Next thing we know is that she came over with the bill. We didn’t ask for it so it came across quite rude. There are so many better Turkish restaurants around where you don’t mind paying more for if the service and food is worth it but unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this. Note you have to pay for bread to go with your dips. I know some places gives this for free.

Excellent new Restaurant The location is great, plenty of parking nearby. The staff are lovely, welcoming, efficient and know about the menu. The decor is lush and comfortable. We had the hot sharing starter & added a hummus to share for three of us, which was plenty. This came with baskets of flat bread, which was spicy on one side and delicious. Between us for mains , we had the spicy chicken Shish, lamb cutlets and grilled chicken burger. We were unable to tackle a desert. So nice to find a great new restaurant in this location. Do not hesitate to give it a try .
