Went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday with a group of eight, and honestly, I can’t fault a single thing. From start to finish, it was just spot on. The service? Amazing. The vibe? Perfect. And the FOOOOD—wow! Portions were generous, food was super fresh, and everything came out quickly. Every single one of us loved it; so much flavor and just insanely good. Can’t wait to go back!

Me and my wife went for a midweek dinner. Was pleasantly happy with what I had chosen, the Koz burger was massive with 2 beef patties plus chicken and with sweet potato fries on the side. Wife had the chicken shish rice. Shared the Kunefe pudding. Everything that we ordered was cooked perfectly, tasted fresh and well presented. Will most likely go again , definitely would recommend if you fancy a moden Turkish twist with an American influence.

10/10 would recommend! Left a review 2 years ago and have been back a few times since. Food is delicious, drinks are strong, vibes just right. Perfect for any celebration!!

Amazing service, accommodating, large portion sizes.

Lovely to be there with family and friends. Luckily found available table for 10 walk ins and everyone enjoyed every second spend there. We will return for sure. I haven't tried this time the shisha, but is a must for my next visit. We will come back for sure and most probably in a bigger group. The staff was amazing and very attentive, making us to feel welcomed.

Once again a 10/10 experience at Helvadere, the cocktails are always amazing, nice and strong! The food always delicious! Twilight prawns are the best (Please don't ever remove these from the menu!) The grilled meats were perfectly made, fresh and tasty! Also the best service from the staff as usual, especially Kareem! Made sure everything was as we liked and was very attentive. Went to Helvadere with a group of friends and can honestly say this is the best shisha place we have been to (we have been to a lot). The quality of the shisha was nice and the customer service with impeccable. We have regular check ins with our server and anytime we needed something they would come over and sort us out. I didn’t get any food however it looked amazing and will definitely give it a go next time. 10/10 recommended.

Due to a last minute change in plans, we ended up trying to get in to Helvadere. But it was a busy Friday night so after speaking to a gentleman on the door, we were politely turned away. We left and had been walking for a minute or so when the very same gentleman came running down the road to say that a space had come available. We were delighted! We walked back, thanking him over and over and we were seated in the lovely, cosy lounge area at the front. The decor is smart with warm lighting but isn’t showy or overly garish. We ordered two shishas, a couple of mocktails, Turkish tea and the kunefe. The shisha was surprisingly smooth and the coal was always being refreshed. Thank you to Amit (the man who welcomed us - apologies if the name is incorrect), Karim and to all the other smiley, happy staff who make Helvadere a success. We will return very soon and feel that this may become our new ‘local’!

Lovely vegetarian plater and super tasty falafel burger. The sticky toffee pudding was a nice end to the meal. Will definitely be coming back and loved the tea.

They've missed out on a party of 22 attending their restaurant. Manager wouldn't let me get a word in edge ways when trying to make a booking for a birthday meal.

We dined at Helvadere today with a group of friends and had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, capturing the authentic flavors of Turkish cuisine. The portions were generous, and we were all impressed by the overall presentation. The restaurant itself has an amazing atmosphere, with stylish decor that adds to the dining experience. Despite being busy, it remained comfortable and inviting. The staff were very responsive and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The service however gets 4 stars as initially it tools ages to get their attention so we could put our order in. We also appreciated the high hygiene standards maintained in the restaurant. Overall, we were extremely happy with our visit to Helvedere and will certainly be coming back. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!

Would definitely come again. The decor, ambience and staff. Everything was tasty but, please let them know if you don’t want chocolate sauce on your dessert. It made my dessert a tad too sweet.

A brilliant day celebrating 3 family members birthday. Roman candles were provided on the cakes with Turkish birthday music and clapping at different intervals for the birthday people. The occasion was excellent, and all round, the food was exquisite.

The service was exceptional—staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel well taken care of. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with an upgraded décor that looks fantastic. It's also one of the cleanest, most hygienic places to eat, showing how well-maintained it is. Helvadere, please never change your recipe like so many other places have. You're doing everything right!

Been coming for YEARS and it just keeps getting better. It’s been refurbed beautifully, the food is excellent quality, portions are generous, prices reasonable, staff super friendly and welcoming. Most recently brought my family from abroad and they were blown away. If you want a great Turkish restaurant with a vibe - this is the place.

We were a group of 12 celebrating 3 Family member's birthday. We had a variety of main meals: lamb cutlets, salmon, burgers,ect. All the meals were superb. They were very flexible with the combination of grains that we wanted with our main. There was birthday music with hand clapping,and roman candles, for each individual, at different intervals.Truly a beautiful atmosphere with top quality service.Our 7yr and 4yr old had puzzles & colouring cards from the moment they arrived at the restaurant, so we could take our time over menu choices,engaged in conversation without feeling rushed.

The staff at Helvadere Wickham were amazing. I brought my 14 month old daughter during the evening to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and the staff were so accommodating. They were very helpful, friendly and efficient. They really made us feel at ease and my daughter had fun with them. Would highly recommend to go as you'll be treated well.

Big scammer the food quality was absolutely diabolical over priced however I asked for the bill but waiter was insisting that I had to scan the Q bar anyway the bill come to an X amount when I paid by Apple Pay I noticed I was charged an extra £10 which was included in service charge and also tips and others. I asked the guy was are these charges I was told that is service charge and the extra £4.20 was that tips I said what tips I didn’t gave any tips he says you might have done it mistakenly which is totally nonsense guys first of all I don’t recommend the scammer but beware if you ever pop in there 🤮

Slow haphazard service but food & drink were good.

Went here for the first time after driving past it every week for the past couple of years. Helvadere is extremely welcoming with a wonderful atmosphere. I felt that I had been transported to Turkey. The outside area is beautiful too with hanging plants and twinkling light. Now to the food. I had chicken shish and chips. Omg- succulent and delicious. We were even given some complimentary Turkish tea afterwards. The price is so reasonable too. Wow! Helvadere is now my go-to restaurant. Can't wait to visit with my family and friends.

Food was great as always. The service was not great. The waitress didn't seem bothered to make a good impression either. Drinks were slow. I sent one drink back, but the waitress refused to change it! I was told I had to pay for an additional drink if I wasn't happy with my drink. I come to this restaurant very often,it's a shame your front facing customer service was very poor during my visit.

I go to this place a lot because I love the Turkish vibes. They have good food and drinks but the main thing that makes the place great is the friendly down to earth but professional staff and the chilled atmosphere. I first discovered helvadere because a few friends had birthdays here and I’ve since had my own birthday here and come here for business catch ups with my business partner.

Took the family here for my Dads birthday. The staff were friendly, the food was well seasoned and very tasty and portions were big. Everyone enjoyed it and we’ll definitely come back.
