My family and I had an amazing experience at Helvedere, thank you to the staff for accommodating our large group. Everyone said their food was delicious, all the orders were correct and we even got two birthday surprises for the two of us celebrating our birthdays.

Family of 4, 2 under 6. Everyone left happy. Great fresh food, perfectly prepared. Friendly staff. Great value

This is an amazing restaurant that never fails to impress. I have been there a few times, my most recent visit was for a birthday celebration which they definitely made special. The customer service was 💯 with the staff being polite, friendly, and very encouraging. The food was amazing with good portion sizes. I would definitely recommend you visit this restaurant.

What a place and what fantastic food. I especially would like to thank Rakim who absolutely looked after us and did not fail anywhere but this also goes for the rest of the staff, all were amazing and they have the food and the place and the atmosphere to back it up. Highly recommended.

Love the design of the place the service was great welcoming staff I had the lamb cutlets absolutely delicious my daughter had lamb kebab delicious my other daughters had lamb burgers 🍔 yummy Also had cocktails are lovely and reasonable price.. my only issue is parking 🙄 but will definitely be back

I celebrated my 30th with my family it was amazing! The ambience was beautiful, the space was clean and tidy at all times even though it was full when we arrived, the service from the staff was lovely they were attentive, approachable, organised and friendly. The food was perfect we didn't have to wait long for the drinks, mains or desserts which was scrumptious. Thank you for making my 30th memorable, will all definitely be retuning thanks to all the team that was in on the 26th March !!

Giving a TRUE review! I have been going to this restaurant on a regular basis (about once a month) since late 2024. I always get Chicken Shish. That's what I like, that's what I get, that's what I'll have. Never once, has the food disappointed. It's plentiful! The service is lovely, especially once girl I believe Turkish and long black hair, she always greets with a smile, not saying the others don't but you really feel welcomed when she greets you. The food did I mention that, yes, well let me repeat. It's bloody amazing! Parking will be pants if outside is already taken up by the fleet of cars used parked up outside by 7pm, you'll have to find a side road, however, after your hefty food, the walk back to the car will be most welcomed. The drinks a little on the pricy side but... nice ambience, great food, lovely staff, it all goes well together! I'm going next week and the week after.... probably see you there!

We had an incredibly disappointing experience at the restaurant, which completely ruined our weekend. From the moment we entered, a bald staff member greeted us rudely citing the busyness of the day. His demeanor was off-putting and set a negative tone for our visit. Shockingly, in the middle of our meal, he approached us again, this time informing us that we had only 10 minutes to finish our food and vacate the table. We were left speechless by his brusque manner and decided to leave immediately. I have never been treated so poorly at any establishment, despite being a frequent and loyal patron at many restaurants. This experience was wholly unacceptable.

Recently moved to the area and have since then visited the place often. Food and staff has been decent - until today. Male staff at the door seemed very inhospitable beginning the interaction. Seated us despite asking if we had a reservation - which we didn't - but he made it seem like he was doing us a favour. We had a decent meal, nothing special, but just as the waitresses took our plates away, this said male staff came to our table and gave us an ultimatum in a very rude tone, "you have 15 minutes to leave, I need to seat other guests". We had ordered tea and were going to leave before 15 minutes anyway, but after this unpleasant interaction, paid the bill and left immediately.

Just moved into the area and visited the place a couple of times and enjoyed the food until today. Half way through my meal a male member of staff came and said you have 15 minutes to leave because we want to serve more customers . . Highly disappointed and wont come again.

The small plates were amazing and the service was spot on Good atmosphere and the decor was tranquil. It’s a must see and I will return to see what the entertainment is like on weekend.

I had an outstanding experience at Helvadere Restaurant! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a great meal. The service was absolutely brilliant—attentive, friendly, and efficient. A special mention to Chef Murtaza, whose skills are truly exceptional. His lamb chops are the best I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The meat plate was also outstanding, offering a great selection of high-quality, deliciously prepared meats. I highly recommend this restaurant—100% worth a visit! Fantastic food, excellent service, and a wonderful ambiance. Can’t wait to return!

Food is mediocre but the restaurant is a good vibe. Very disappointing experience as I pre-ordered a birthday dessert surprise almost 24h in advance and again verbally communicated this to the server at the restaurant who put it on my tab only for another server to then tell me a couple of hours later that they had ran out of baklava. I was even almost charged for it despite not being given it. I was infuriated as I had gone out my way to ensure the baklava was ready. The whole reason I chose Helvadere as the venue was because of the birthday surprise that they do. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

Well, it was such a pleasant dinning experience that I had in Croydon. Ambience and the staffs were truly amazing. Outstanding arrangements for Friday & Saturday eve (recommended). Menu was perfectly structured for middle east cuisine. Just loved it and there's always a room for improvement (left a star for next time). Cheers to the whole team!!

We went to diner as I really wanted to try this place. Bring slightly late I expected my friends to have have ordered drinks but no one had been over…so we waited…eventually served drinks and food order taken the food which was delicious came fast..but the server lacked personality or the inter personal touch, we felt like an inconvenience to them and were consistency ignored.. a toilet trip with no paper in I asked one of the waitresses and she semi rolled her eyes….and service charge is added I would have given them anything!! Yes to the food no to the resting b**ch face servers I sorry we interrupted you eating….wont return…

This place is 10/10 Service: I don't know what it is recently but a lot of restaurants have a lack of customer service, but here is amazing. As soon as you walk in the staff are friendly and tentative. You are not waiting to be served there is always someone around if you need anything. Food: We had the Hummus Lamb Kavurma it is an absolute must. In my opinion the best I have had, second best is La Moda in New Malden. Then we had mix grill combo for two with bulgar and white rice. Another must have. There were so many star players in this dish, but the but the top 3 the grilled vegetables 🤤, the chicken wings and lamb pieces, and white rice ( okay that is 4). Also the garlic sauce is also *chef's kiss* Dessert: Sticky Toffee Pudding ❤️ that is all I have to say Shisha: The shisha was good Frozen Lychee and Blueberry was 7/10. The African Queen was 2/10 The service for the lounge 10/10 Parking is limited but there are spaces which are a 5 minutes walk away Overall: Highly recommend.

I’ve been many times to Helvadere and I love it here! Service is great, all the staff are amazing, especially Karim! Food is great, delicious and of very good quality! Kunefe is a must, so make room for it with some Turkish tea. The restaurant is very nice and the garden is even better, heated in winter and open in summer, so you can enjoy their amazing shisha all year round. 100% recommended
