Chicken soup was amazing,great fresh juice,espresso decent too. Just had my 2nd shisha tonight there wicked atmosphere music and crowd staff excellent service definitely recommend I'm a regular now

I went last night for a meal, I had the half bay grilled chicken was delicious lots of flavours, loved the garlic side sauce. Service was welcoming and attentive. Would go again.

Visited at lunch time as part of a large group. This was the second time I've visited in similar circumstances. The food is good and decent value, but was a long wait for drinks and food, possibly due to the number of people ordering at the same time.

We celebrated our anniversary last night at Ayat in Croydon. The quantity of the food was good, it was tasty and the quality was ok. We think the toilets need some renovation; I was shocked at the amount of mould and humidity.

When my wife and I wanted to have a nice dinner, we came across this place on the internet and wanted to try it. It was an evening that we were very pleased with in terms of atmosphere and service. As for the food, their chicken was really great. The meat got a slightly lower score from us. It was an experience we would like to go again. It is also great that the employees are friendly and helpful. Thank you 🙏

Went to Ayat today. Despite having a private event inside, the manager was kind enough to give us a table outside. We really appreciated it as it was a birthday dinner and we were looking forward dining there. Service was very friendly, the food, the flavours, portions all excellent. I had hot and cold mezze as I wasn’t feeling as hungry but I saw the sea bass that grandma ordered … I’m definitely having that dish next time !! Woudl most definitely recommend a visit. The prices are great also!

Ayat lounge, great family owned restaurant with private Shisha lounge at the back- that doesn’t affect the restaurant area at all! Cosy atmosphere, really nice grilled Halal meats and fish dishes, great portions and super tasty! Also have fresh healthy smoothies and juices made to order, great selection of cakes and desserts for all ages. If you want to add Shisha after your meal garden is open that shows all the latest sports events. Great birthday, date or filling lunch spot. Free parking outside from on and all Sunday 😍

We came in for breakfast for the first time and was surprised with the well presented breakfast and the variety. The service was excellent also. Its a very calm and soothing atmospehere. Justine and zirena was excellent hosts we would definitely come back again.

This is a little gem really. But appears to be struggling for some reason. We were there on a Friday evening and it was barely 1/3 full. Attentive staff, flavoursome food and decent decor. Do please give this place a try!

Amazing service! I had a 14 ppl dinner, the whole night went smoothly. Staff was so attentive and let us decorate our table - Venue is pretty! Definitely recommend.

What a lovely place to have a nice Shisha and food!! Great service by the staff specially YK and Mustafa. We come here every so often and hands down it is the best shisha place in Croydon. By some magic the shisha just does not burn for hours on end. The price range is like 15 pounds pp. Trust me and try this place out you will for sure want to come back.

So I have been smoking shisha for a long while and I can honestly say the shisha here is the best. The service you get with coal change every other 15 mins makes the shisha last long. Further the shisha does not burn. The food is very nice but the kitchen closes early at 11pm. The price so affordable 15 to 20 pounds pp. The staff is also so nice, this is a place you must come and try with your friends.

Order status changed to delivered when it hadn't been and when called the restaurant to ask where the food was were told it was still there and delivery driver had not turned up. This is depite the app showing the location of the driver nearing our house shortly before that. Better be getting a very prompt refund and explanation from Just Eat.

Great per usual. Chicken cubes were a bit hard no biggie thou, everything else were great, the mixed shawarma, kofte, and lamb cubes as well as chips. They even sent me 2 free drinks

Absolutely loved the food, and absolutely impeccable customer service. Not the generic Lebanese taste (which is fine anyway) but rather we loved that the garnishes and the sauces have clearly got a chef behind them with a sense of pride and passion to give it a unique taste and make it their own thing. We also didn't find with here that like most restaurants lately that compensate for bland food with excessive salt which you really feel when you thirsty af shortly after: not with here. I've felt really great in the hours that have past which prompted me to not neglect leaving this positive review. My only peeve was the playlist and the volume of it too... too loud - and my hearing is bad! But will definitely return. Again I iterate : amazing food and customer service!!

Such a lovely establishment - the staff went above and beyond to make our dining experience special for my mother’s birthday (thank you Daniella for making sure we had a smooth evening!). Everyone enjoyed their food, I loved my shrimp linguine. Would highly recommend Ayat if you’re after a friendly atmosphere. Loved their playlist selection also!

I can’t comment on the food, we’ve been here an hour and still no food, no hot drinks had to go elsewhere and buy it, I then had to enquire where our food was, disappointed is an understatement.

Stumbled upon this place Saturday evening and I’m glad I did because the service and food was incredible! The waitress was extremely accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious but too large for me to finish so the boss kindly offered to box it up for me to take away. Very happy customer and I 100% recommend it to everyone 😀

The driver went in the opposite direction so food was cold when it arrived. Also we ordered chicken items but we received lamb instead.

I'm a regular visitor at Ayat as this is a lovely local place for tasty food and shisha. I went recently to celebrate a birthday. Staff are always so sweet and friendly and they happily brought out a cake i'd got for my cousin. Highly recommend :)

Food was really nice, Love the chicken wings, rice, Houmous, pitta bread and spicy potatoes. Everything was cooked fresh and the staff was really friendly. There was 1 gentlemen in particular who done the upmost to keep us happy and make sure he was fulfilling everyone's request. He was so quick and efficient and was just overall reassuring. We came here to celebrate a 16th birthday and there was LOADS of us so I can only imagine how tiring and overwhelming we was. We had the whole place to ourselves and it was just great. Thanks for everything

My family had the venue for a birthday party and the service was impeccable! It was a special occasion and it could not have been better accommodated. The staff were incredibly helpful and respectful, they were also super friendly! It really made the night special. Plus the food was lovely, especially the chicken wings. Definitely recommend this place

Absolutely delicious food, fantastic service and a great aesthetic. The restaurant is so clean and the wait staff didn’t even need to note our orders. I honestly can’t wait to return.

Feedback: Heard positive feedback about Ayat so was open to come here for lunch. We were welcomed on entrance and allocated to our seats. We didn’t book but restaurant were able to accommodate. Staff were welcoming. The lunch menu was a good price and definitely value for money. Definitely filling! Would recommend and would return to Ayan.

Delicious food and great service, when I go to the restaurant and when I make an order.

Their breakfast menu comes with a lot of options. I had the American breakfast and although the majority of the food was nice the syrup had a bitter/tangly flavour which unfortunately ruined the dish. The individual items (hash brown , pancakes and sausages etc) tasted good, just without the syrup. Also the sliced fruit could have been fresher.

Standard has dropped lamb was not as tender and the prawns were not seasoned well plus they were over cooked

We ordered a beef burger and was given a chicken burger, you should call customers to see if they are happy with changes instead of assuming my daughter didn’t eat the rest of the food was ok

Just come home from ordering a platter, there more rice than meat, but the meat is hard, old meat that's been reheated over and over again. Kids refusing to eat it.

Ayat held my brothers 18th birthday party for around 30 people. Reasonable price but A*** food and service. They were up front about the cost and worked through with us a menu for the group. Staff were amazing and had great communication leading to the event. Real hidden gem!

Food was delicious and was very impressed with the high quality of lamb 👍 however, the atmosphere was very poor, there was no heating and my friends and I had to keep our winter coats on. We were also seated under lights that didn’t work so we were sat in the dark. The servers were friendly enough but again they were in winter coats cause there’s no heating.

It was very bad experience, I will not repeat it again as I am sick from yesterday until today, I found a feathers in my chicken Shawrma sandwich. I am so disappointed.

Ordered a mix grill platter, it had a choice of rice or chips , we went for chips two people could eat comfortably. Liked the fact it had small pots of chilli, yogurt sauce and hummus as sides. We had shisha made by YK Amazing shisha so smooth while smocking , he came to ask many times and see if it worked properly Must go

I popped in for a bite to eat with a friend after visiting the gym. Such a lovely place, warm atmosphere, lovely interior, amazing food and good music. It’s my third time coming here. I always go for the Ayan Mediterranean breakfast. It’s a fantastic portion for the price. Always fresh and filling. I love the sujuk and halloumi and the hummus is always great. The fruit is such a wonderful addition. Comes w a dusting of icing sugar as well! The mint tea is sooo good!!! Light, warm and sweet - a perfect accompaniment for breakfast. And it’s included in the breakfast price too! The staff are attentive and kind. The music is also great! It was a perfect pitstop for me and my friend. We didn’t feel rushed and really enjoyed the vibe of the place.! All in all, a lovely brunch place. And we’ll be back for lunch next time!

Stumbled upon Ayat having literally just moved to the area. Instantly impressed with the warm greeting, service and food. Will certainly be returning.

Food was awesome so flavourful, meat cooker to perfection very generous portion sizes and it was piping hot. The drinks we initially ordered were awesome fruity and just the right amount of alcohol the second round were awful, found out when we went to pay that the server had made the second drinks as the bartender had gone on break. Clean , great food, good service just don't order alcoholic drinks if the bartender os missing .

I had the Big breakfast , it was delicious and very generously proportioned and included fruit and a hot drink! The staff couldn't do enough for us and the interior is lovely. Will definitely go again.

What a lovely experience. Father’s Day, so very busy, and a little wait, but not an issue as it was lovely chatting and not feeling rushed. Food was delicious, fresh, plentiful. BLOWN AWAY! We came for Father’s Day as a group of six. The restaurant was very busy (yay) so we had a little bit of a wait for drinks and food, although we did order a lot. The food was PHENOMENAL, everything tasted so authentic and homemade. Great presentation too. Recommend the prawns, fatoush, mousaka, Sujuk, mixed shawarma plate, mixed pickles and Turkish rice. Calamari didn’t taste super fresh but we had plenty of other excellent dishes on the table that it wasn’t a problem. Service is excellent, Sam who appears to be the owner is a wonderful character. He very kindly made the side dishes big enough for six to avoid ordering multiple of the same thing. He knocked about 4 things off our bill for no reason! We estimated the bill to be about £170 (we really did order a lot) we were shocked when the bill out to £121 (without service) we added an extra £18 for tip. Honestly if the bill had been £170 we wouldn’t have been disappointed. Please get down to this restaurant and give it a try. We cannot wait to go back!

For £9.99, it was really good for that Mediterranean style breakfast especially the foul mudamass which was a really tasty stew of fava beans with cumin, parsley and lemon!

The cumbers weren’t fresh , the portions where so small and expensive for such poor quality of food , very disappointed, and wouldn't recommend eating in here nor will i return

Tiny portions for a lot of money, food was nice but not a lot of it. Good delivery

Staff were really helpful, polite and accommodating. Large portions of food - really enjoyed the chicken wings and spicy potatoes. Good place to hold a function- interior of restaurant is lovely. Only complaint was that service was a little bit slow and had to wait a while for the mains.

The soup has had bones in it and I complained to just eat but no refund for that and disappointed as they left out a whole meal. I won’t order from them again
