I absolutely love it here! Moved around the corner about 6 months ago, and this lil place has been such a staple and made us feel super at home here. Really cosy and chill environment, amazing sandwiches (I'm not normally a sandwich person, but these are unreal!), great and friendly service and the coffee is unreal, every single time, without fail.

Cafe located on Forest Hill just before/after the cemetery in a row of shops. Very friendly owner and good selection of real coffee and a Spanish themed food. Chorizo and cheese sarnies particularly good. The cafe also has a great little collection of Spanish foods and good wines reasonably priced. Worth a visit for breakfast or lunch .

What a lovely little cafe to drop in to! Homely and informal. But everything is interesting and good quality. As well as coffee and snacks there's a good range of Spanish deli products. I had a Serrano Ham and Cheddar Cheese toasted croissant with a flat white and it was lovely. Not expensive either. I'll be back!

Why does every bloody cafe insist on a playlist of tinkly piano + breathy female vocal covers of rock songs? It's like a 365 day Christmas advert. Put a bit of thought into it ffs

I was very excited about this place re-opening as I believe we were starved of options for a quality weekend breakfast in the local vicinity. Other reviews of this place providing the best breakfast in London are in my opinion very close to the mark! This place does have many positives however, the speed of service is not one of them. They had struggled a little in the past with a waiting time of around 20-30 mins for two breakfasts. Today, upon ordering we were told there would be a "little" wait. I asked how long and was assured around 30 minutes. Over one hour later we received our plates! Guys, you have opened out the cafe well with more space yet, still carrying that cosy homemade vibe. But, ask yourselves what good is having more people in your cafe if you cannot provide for them promptly. I also witnessed one family walk out without being served. To sour the situation further, when the waiter asked me about how everything was and I told him about the wait, he then tried to justify it. In whose world is it acceptable to wait over one hour for two breakfasts?

I love this place, the atmosphere is great and the owner very friendly. I live really close so was therefore disappointed by the current menu. I am gluten free and the menu was mostly sandwiches. The options without bread had sausages. Previously I have always found something I can eat but this time it was tricky. I have had gluten free bread there in the past but I wouldn't have it again, cheap cardboard version!

I came here a few weeks ago and have been back every week since. The food is delicious with a great selection of breakfast, lunch items and sandwiches. All great ingredients that can be eaten in or taken away. There is as a lot of people coming in to just takeaway there coffee and delicious cakes. Many of which are gluten free, which is great for me. It’s a small cosy place to eat in with very friendly staff. I love visiting. The kale smoothie and avocado smash being my favourite.

We often have breakfast here, and sometimes supper; breakfast is a particular favourite. You can sit inside, or if its sunny the rear garden is lovely (with the chickens!), or under the awnings at the front. The breakfast menu has a great choice, including veggie and traditional options, all beautifully cooked and presented, and very tasty. I had the new croissant with spinach, mushrooms, eggs and hollandaise sauce this latest visit - amazingly delicious! I can also vouch for the full vegetarian breakfast. The staff are lovely, and friendly. It is my favourite place to have breakfast! I wish I could go every day!

We are regulars at this cafe and live locally. Usually the food is good and staff are friendly but not today so won't be returning anytime soon. The waitress was very abrupt and rude. I asked for advocado on toast that comes with egg, seeing as I can't eat egg i asked to swap the egg for mushrooms and she was confused but said 'yes'. It came out and was fine but when we got the bill she had charged £1.50 extra for mushrooms even though she had not mentioned this previously. If i had known that then I would have had the eggs and my husband would have eaten it and i would be quite happy to pay extra for mushrooms. When i pointed it out on the bill she was rude and disappeared into the kitchen. I ended up just paying the extra as couldn't afford to wait around on lunch break.

I've been coming here since they opened. I enjoy their coffees and they provide soya milk. Their menu is constantly changed. Every few months or so, a new sandwich or breakfast plate will come up on the menu. I recommend their goats cheese sandwich and vegetarian breakfast for vegetarians. This place is not suitable for vegans or those who are lactose intolerant (like me) because the options are extremely limited. I would like to see more vegan options available on menu and something like Falafels and hummus availble. My boyfriend would like to see the eggs benedict/florentine etc back on the menu. He loved them. I recommend to the chef to make gluten free bread himself. People like me who are gluten intolerant will appreciate this alot. They taste much better than factory made gluten free bread and are bigger in size too. The soups are lovely and I really like their smoothies too. Hopefully they'll be open for new years eve so we can celebrate 2018! Will keep coming back here. After all, I live up the road :)))

It's the most dishonest restaurant I visited in London. Check your bill, what it says in the Manu is no what they charge. The food is very basic the service is very basic. Not recommended.

So this is an interesting place. First of all, let me explain all of the good points. The food is made very well, super tasty, loads of flavour, delicious. For this I’ll give 5/5, I didn’t eat anything that was bad. As a group on a business evening meal with my team this was also a lovely, busy, fun ambience in a pretty converted building and sitting upstairs was a great atmosphere. For a group booking where you want to all share food, the menu is also perfect as the dishes and style of food lend themselves to being shared my multiple people so this makes the whole experience very sociable. Again 5/5. Now onto the not so good… Drinks prices … £7.50 for an Israeli beer is outrageous. 330ml coke in glass bottle £5.00 outrageous. Wine, pretty rubbish list and hideously overpriced so didn’t bother at all. You should also be aware that as a group of 6 people spending over £300 weeks only ordered 1 drink each during the whole meal for two reasons. Firstly, the drinks were so extortionately priced, even for London, high rents, blah blah whatever! And secondly, which brings me onto my next point…we were a table of 6 people on business, with corporate credit cards and yet virtually no waiters ever came over to offer us more drinks or to see how our food was! So the service was pretty non existent which in a place so highly priced is not acceptable. So we got charged £37 for rubbish service, far from ideal, including it taking them forever to bring us our bill at the end! And then food prices. Yes, the food is good, but when you look at what goes into the dishes, much of it is either vegetarian or where there was a protein it was a tiny amount of meat or fish in the dish. So a good example…Houmous in a typical Turkish restaurant would be no more than £8 and you would be served as much pitta bread as you can eat! At this restaurant houmous was £12-15 each but the pitta was extra so we got charged £24.50 for pitta alone, which probably cost the restaurant about £2.00 and should have been included in the price of the houmous! Other main dishes are £20+ but were also small and disappeared in minutes between six of us. Overall, this was hugely disappointing…we paid £333 and left still hungry for more food, thirsty after a lack of drinks and underwhelmed all round! For this kind of money we recently had an outstanding meal with wine in a high quality restaurant in Chelsea which shows you how overcharged this place is. In a Turkish or Greek restaurant we would have paid £200 for the same kind of meal! Change your pricing and improve your service and you’d be a 5/5 and still here in 3 years time. Don’t, and I’m guessing you will long since be shut down by 2027!
