It's the most dishonest restaurant I visited in London. Check your bill, what it says in the Manu is no what they charge. The food is very basic the service is very basic. Not recommended.

Mind boggling food and flavours. You will not be disappointed if you go here! Try the lamb or you will regret it for the rest of your life.

We visited the one in Cannon Street which is a pop up. Was lovely and very interesting dishes - the lamb was divine and I would easily revisit at their next location.

"Beware, they say you can take away the dishes but really, this is not a takeaway: having to wait almost 10 minutes (no queue) for a box with grilled aubergine was just a joke. Appreciate the dish was prepared (from scratch??) specifically for me, at the same time they should disclose there is a significant waiting time unless you take the wrap. Also, NO VALUE FOR MONEY (again, in take away terms): 5£ bought me 5 half slices of grilled aubergine, ie half an aubergine. Decent flavor but I won't be back. No wonder they keep moving, they wouldn't survive in the same location"

A group of us were doing the Bermondsey Beer Mile and we had reached the Partizan Brewery, when we noticed the Ceru pop-up restaurant under the adjacent railway arch. We ordered a mixed selection including the chicken wrap, hallumi wrap, lamb koftas, hummus with pitta bread and of course, plenty of fries. The service was charming, with the takeaway delivered to us outside the brewery, rather than having to wait and collect. The kofta was so delicious that we immediately ordered two more and they even gave us free extra pitta bread. Everything tasted so fresh and one of our vegetarian number was even seen to be clearing up the last of the superbly dressed salad that came with the koftas.I think for the seven of us, the bill came to £42 the best £6 per head we had ever spent. PS the Partizan beers were equally stunning.

Half of the menu wasn't available when I came (which happens I suppose). They asked me to wait 10min, ended up waiting 25min. Two customers complained in the meantime. But the skewers were alright. Not amazing, but didn't expect much more either.

I joined Ceru yesterday to uncover the flavours of the Levant at More London Riverside.Their summer sizzling menu is utterly delicious. We started with dips and freshly baked pita, zucchini and fetta cheese fritters (which were incredibly delicious and light). Cinnamon carrots, a cauliflower dish with walnuts and pomegranate. Everyones favourite seemed to be the slow roast lamb shoulder with Shawarma spices and spicy squid! We all agreed it was a fantastic qualify finger-licking street food!More London Riverside turned into a new summer hangout place where Miami meets French Riviera, so expect palm trees, comfy beds and flamingos. Couldn't think of a perfect dinner setting!Running until end of October, I will definitely be back. Few times.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Post full of pictures from the evening on the blog:http://www.gleeoflife.eu/2015/06/ceru-restaurant-flavours-of-levant.html

Went for a quick lunch the day before your original pop up closed. Absolutely loved it great flavours, lovely atmosphere and super service. Can't wait for your new place near London Bridge to open soon. Will definitely pop in and bring friends.

"The food was fresh and good value, and the cocktails are also worth a look. Try the apple tea to finish. We were served by the owners, so couldn't ask for more there. As for ambience, it will be a bit squashed and noisy when full, but it wasn't when we went."

The food is excellent. However we advised them twice that we required a high chair. No reply to email. On our arrival they did find a high chair and fortunately before putting baby into the chair we noticed a large nail sticking out. The restaurant is not suitable for young babies. No baby changing facilities. We were advised to change baby on one of the seats in the restaurant. Much better to be honest if they would rather not have families and particularly young babies. Food though excellent but service not great. Will not be returning.

We were recommended this place by a local friend for olives. Our decision to buy and bring back to India was fully justified and we will love to go again. Governor Amolak Rattan Kohli
