This a smallish, almost cafe-style eatery, nicely presented though in places the decor needs some attention. Booking is advised But the main point is that the food is truly delicious, well-presented & good value. Plus they also have a few Japanese dishes as well as their Korean range. We'll worth a visit. Parking is on the road or nearby streets.

They are called HANRUE Korean BBQ. Website is Tasty Korea. Went here for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon whilst shopping in the area. Quiet then but probably busier in the evening. Nice place, friendly staff and good service. I had the Sundubu Jjigae which was very good. Comes with complimentary rice. Delicious, spicy and full of flavour. Generous with seafood and ingredients. Only order this if you can take spice! Piping hot, well presented and very nice. Despite the name, there are other items on the menu and not just BBQ. A few small negatives. Much pricier (almost double) than other Korean restaurants in London. I am guessing because of the area! I have been to South Korea and the dish is often served with a complimentary small side salad or kimchi. Given the price, it would be nice to include this too. Would recommend otherwise.

This is one of a large number of restaurants on Parkway in Camden. We hadn't been since it changed from pan-Asian to Korean. It has various set menus as well as a la carte dishes some of which you cook barbecue-style at the table. A la carte was better value particularly with the 30% discount and four of us paid just over £100 including drinks and service. As the staff seemed reluctant to offer any guidance or suggestions, it's easy to over-order and end up with too many similar dishes. The food is well prepared and presented although the small tables make it difficult to find space for everything alongside the barbecue equipment. The best dishes we tried were wakame, tempura squid, Korean fried chicken, barbecued iberico pork and osam bulgogi. This isn't a "smart" place and the noise level made conversation difficult but it's good for an informal, unusual and reasonably priced meal with friends.

Crispy deep fried prawns were just like the ones you get from supermarkets. Deep frozen, quite small but with tails on. I found the food quite expensive. I did eat it all and especially loved the pickle on the side. Drinks very expensive I found. Was going to Theatre afterwards so a useful stopping off point . Service was excellent, place Is clean and buzzers on tables when you are ready to order. Good portion of K Pop on TV quite enjoyable.

We were there today, staff look like they don't want to work. The manager guy was so rude to the lady 2 tables next to us,basically he told the lady and friends to be out in 10mins as they've another reservation, when they were trying to make additional orders. Lady said shes been there less than an hour, nobody informed her she only has an hour and 10mins when she made the reservation then the manager guy said have some common sense because its central London??? HOW SO RUDE OF HIM. They were arguing and the waitress was like a robot, kept saying to the lady yeah you're right, yeah you're right but she didn't mean the customer was right, they just wanted to get rid of her. Whoever was there saw it all. Anyway food was ok,over priced for the portion size and quality. Beef isn't wagyu at all and Is Wagyu even Korean?? I don't think so. 👎👎👎👎

The service was terrible in many different ways, the initial greeting was nice and we picked to sit upstairs where were seated. After this it went downhill. The restaurant has a QR systeem that works good but while we were picking our food we saw that one of the servers was eating left over food of other guests who had just left. She ate with her bare hands and was cleaning tables and setting them up again without washing hands and also with her mouth full. Our own cutlery was dirty as well it was very oily. Besides hygiene factors there is more stuff. Because of the QR system none of the workers are asking if you're okay they are just bringing the food without saying anything and then just going away. Furthermore because the second floor wasn't that busy the staff was standing around which is fine but they were staring at my girlfriend together for a long time and every time a looked back they just looked away quickly. This is very poor behaviour and made is very uncomfortable. Just a really bad service experience overall. We had ordered some bibimbap, fried chicken and some spicy noodles which I forgot the name of but they were all mediocre at best. The Samgyeopsal (thinly sliced porkbelley) was terrible. Not burnt but just super dry like they had warmed it up again after baking it for too long. It looked and tasted like carton. Just save your money and go to another place with better service and better food and with actual Korean people working and or eating in the restaurant
